It was a new day, and after all the shenanigans Sung Kang experienced yesterday, of course, he was tired, mentally but not physically of course because he can’t get tired not even once, so he imagines himself being tired, and by doing so he can feel tired so he can have an excuse to sleep. Sung Kang was heading out, but before he did he made a giant backpack made of green chaos snake’s skin before he slept yesterday. It was a large backpack made for a large person. Calling it a backpack was an understatement, It was like a skyscraper with so many pockets, about 5000 pockets to be exact. Of course, a backpack befitting Sung Kang’s stature should just be proper, if you measure this backpack’s volume in liters it should be around 1,000 to 3,000 liters. It is 8 meters in height and 6 meters in width and the chaos snake’s skin was 12 inches in thickness, it was sown about 3-4 times to achieve its thickness so that it would last a lifetime. With Sung Kang ready for his trip packing all the spare clothes and canned food he has left he set out on the journey to find elixirs and fruits that can only be found in Murim. Sung Kang grabbed the empty and depressed Cocoa by the shirt and put her inside of one of his backpack pockets and it was the perfect fit for Cocoa’s size, though it looked a bit ridiculous it was a bit cute. Inside the pocket though was Cocoa’s essentials, spare clothes, and her most prized possession a newly refilled Hot cocoa bottle with the freshest ingredients Sung Kang had available on hand, and sadly little did Cocoa know that this will be her last time drinking Hot cocoa and that she would have to stop drinking it, or at least until Sung Kang can find a substitute for Kakao, then it might be a long time before he finds one. When the depressed Cocoa saw the godly existence appear in front of her eyes, she was lost for words. She could not describe the happiness she was feeling inside. She cried loudly and hugged the bottle like it was a mother that found her lost child. The happiness Cocoa was feeling right now was indescribable. She then peeked outside Sung Kang’s jacket pocket and showed him the bottle that was inside it.

Sung Kang’s face may be cold and he may not feel any emotions. He can probably imagine what Cocoa is feeling right now. This act of random kindness Sung Kang did has made Cocoa’s loyalty and affection for him skyrocket to an immeasurable degree, Sung Kang just had no clue.

As you know we are exploring one of the most mysterious forbidden lands since the discovery and rise of Murim. The Ming’s forest has been here since creation, all sorts of beasts and demons roam about in this here land. Ever since the waves began happening, mankind has been riddled with fear, anxiety, and paranoia, thus building gigantic walls was the only answer they could think of that time. Only a select few brave souls were able to explore Ming’s forest and return alive, alive is but an understatement. Alive, with no limbs or innards missing but in exchange that was great but, most of the people who returned had their minds broken with no hope of repair leaving you with a person sick in the head, they would call these people walking blanks because they would just walk for the rest of their lives until death. Some people who ventured into Ming’s forest returned alive, they were called the transcendents or even emperors/empresses because they would return much stronger and much more powerful than before, even just staying in the shallower and safer parts of Ming’s forest can raise your cultivation level by a number of times if you haven’t cultivated before the sheer amount of energy could just forcibly open your Qi veins and make you create a Qi core right away, that is how potent the Qi was in there, If you went in Ming’s forest with no cultivation level or had not even tried cultivating at all, the energy would rip you to shreds, some naughty children who did not heed their parent’s warnings and just went in Ming’s forest to just satisfy their curiosity ended up like that as well kekekeke, stupid brats. Ahem*Ahem* Anyway, the people who survived with their limbs and minds intact started to draw a map with specific danger levels in Ming’s forest to separate the areas and to warn the people who want to venture even further, their first notable discovery in exploring Ming’s forest was how the leaves of the trees there change color depending on the sheer amount of raw energy and type of animals that go there.
There were about 12 danger levels,
The first one would obviously be the Rabbit area which has green leaves, animals like rabbits, squirrels, chickens, ducks, etc. the normal essential animals that are bred for consumption are plentiful in this area, people who live near the walls don’t need to worry about food anymore since all of these animals don’t seem to run out at all.
The second area is the Tiger area with the colors of the tree leaves being white, normal predatory animals are frequent in this area and will not hesitate to kill even newborns. A proper welcome to the jungle indeed. No demon beasts in this area yet.
The third area is the Arachnid area with gray leaves as the danger level. This area is just all web and has no vegetation or any land animals for prey. As the name suggests, this area has spiders or any kind of arachnid species, the recorded species that were found in this area are about 10,000,000 different species and subspecies of spiders in this area alone, and the worst part is those 10 million species are the only known spider species that were discovered, it seems that because of the different energy and Qi types that can only be found in this area, every minute new species of spiders will be born and they start their own nest right away to produce newborns the moment they are born from the Qi in Ming’s forest. It is truly a horrible place to be, about 100,000,000 people died in this area alone. That is just in the third area. said 2nd book.
“Wait a minute, if 100 million people died in the third area alone, how many people who live near the walls are left? How can such a big number of them just go die like that and how big is their population to have so many people who live near the walls?” wondered Sung Kang.

The fourth area is the Cobra area with its deep purple-colored tree leaves as its danger warning. Lots of poisonous reptiles are frequent in this area, with the 1st demon beast that commonly appears herds in this part of Ming’s forest is the Purple-headed black mamba chaos cobra, which is a subspecies of its original the green chaos snakes you originally fought unconsciously. They are a lot smaller but they are still huge by human standards, which the shortest Purple-headed black mamba chaos cobra being only 50 feet, so there can be bigger and fatter ones out there but no one lived to tell the tale even if they witnessed one because DUH, they would be eaten alive~~~ said 2nd book sarcastically.
The 5th area would be the Flowery death area with yellow leaves as the danger level. This area has an array of man-eating plants, octopus-like vines, a dangerous amount of poison everywhere potent enough to annihilate about 1 billion people with just a small toxic fume from one of its plants. There are about only 1 billion recorded species and sightings of the toxic plants with the sacrifice and foolish bravery of about 300 million people in the last 100 years of exploring.
The 6th area is called the Deep blue, and you might think that this might be a body of water but no. Well, actually yes it is a mix of both. You could call this area some sort of mangrove area, where the trees here have a really rich blue color. The reason why it is called the deep blue is that the water that the mangroves grow on is a really deep shade of blue, you won’t know which parts are shallow and which parts are your deaths. No one has ever seen any creature here before and thought of it as safe. About 1 trillion people died here. Tch, fucking dumbasses ptui and most of their deaths are all drowning because once you fall in a deep spot, you are most likely to never return, and also once you fall down any deep spot, whether it may be big or small something will likely drag you below and eat you, nobody knows to this day what creatures live down there and nobody has ever made it to the bottom of the Deep blue, even the famous Murim’s transcendents that were known to be the people who surpassed common sense, became common sense and died there so fucking retarded ptui pwehh. The 7th area is the SHIT SHOW. Why did they name it like that you asked?

Because of the Brown shit-colored leaves of course, and also the animals that reside there were no joke either. As fitting as its name, IT LITERALLY SMELLS LIKE SHIT BUT INFINITELY WORSE THERE. Beasts with the plague Qi and sickness Qi, mostly poisonous Qi reside there, mostly dead animals resurrected as zombies or the normal non-immortal jiansghis are commonly frequent in this area. You could get a lot of unknown diseases and sicknesses just by breathing the air what more if one of these things bit you? Of course, the people who have been there must have had the time of their lives. They had a number of innumerable diseases that ate them from the inside and out, liquids of different colors were oozing from every hole out of their bodies not knowing it was already their organs and bones reduced and melted to a really sticky, thick soup-like liquid. There were only about 100,000 recorded sicknesses you could get in this area, but unfortunately, all 100,000 diseases were no one was able to cure at all, and about 100,000,000,000 people died in the process in that area, none of the bodies were burnt or removed from that place and you could already guess what will happen to dead things that rot in that place. Only a few traitors and cowards or maybe even halfwits escaped that place by sacrificing an arm, leg maybe some external and internal organs but, hey, it’s better than being a shit-smelling, rotting jiangshi right?
The 8th area is what we call the Copper area, obviously with its very flashy copper leaves as the sign that you’re very much fucked. This area has no predators or animals anywhere, everything is copper. The trees are copper, leaves, fruits, everything is copper. But, wait this place is supposed to be a safe zone why is this place very dangerous you say? I’ll tell you why. Nothing dangerous here, but no one knows shit about this place and the people who passed by this area disappeared never to be seen again. There were about 1000 people who died in this area, all of them were transcendent. The normal, stupid, non-combatant people all stopped their delusions and never stepped foot in Ming’s forest ever again. Oh no, anyway.
The 9th area is called The Emperor’s vault because everything there is full of gold and other and all kinds of treasure, even the leaves are gold. Many people who survived this far, got absorbed by greed and malice that just even touching or looking at the gold for long periods of time would consume you mentally and absorb your life force. There were many different demon beasts in the area, mostly dragons because of the infinite number of treasures surrounding them. The dragons guarding The Emperor’s vault were no joke, being the smallest dragon was only 300 meters in length and that was the weakest of all of them. The other dragons were never seen at all, or they never showed up because they knew the intruders there would die anyway. About 100 deity stage martial artists died in The Emperor’s vault.

The 10th area is the area we are currently at, The Eye of Asura with its Bloody red leaves as the danger sign. One of the most dangerous area by far known to Murim. Even more dangerous than the last area, The size of its land is immeasurable, no one has ever seen the shore in this area or any bodies of water at that, so you finding that deep lake was luck bestowed by the heavens. This area is also home to all things demonic and taboo, everything and anything you see here is demonic in nature and is already violent since the moment it is born. The animals here are also no joke, with its size averaging from 20 meters, and that is only the smallest animal, everything here is a gigantic 50-meter beast or even more. There are also dragons here, but if you compare them to the 9th area dragons, then those dragons are just spoiled and greedy brats compared to the dragons here. The arch dragons and the emperor dragons reside in what we know as Asura’s mouth, a really humongous cave with its immeasurable size that looks like a mouth with infinite rows of that look like sharp teeth in its entrance, legends say that the 10th area is a giant sleeping Queen God-king emperor dragon since the beginning of the creation of Murim, but nobody has been able to confirm this. This area is a treasure chest full of resources and precious metals, but nobody had the balls in exploring further. There are sea serpents, rapist monkeys, war elephants, fish with scales of precious gems and minerals, tigers with manes like lions, lions with horns like a bull, birds with wings that can make day into night, and all kinds of overpowered animals. Only 20 stupid bastards explored this region and none of them returned, maybe even they are now still lost and wandering around for eternity, hahaha, coincidently when you explore deeper and deeper into Ming’s forest the Qi will only get purer and denser so it’s impossible to exhaust your life Qi or any Qi at all because there is so much of it in Ming’s forest. So dying by Qi deviation will not work at all, you will want to wish you were dead than wander by yourself in this area filled with monsters that even the most powerful of men would shit and piss their pants at the same time in fear when they encounter any of these overpowered monsters.
Now, on to the 2 final areas. Well, final is a bit of a lie because humanity was only able to explore only 12 areas of this so-called infinite forest. Probably because of the waves, or they just realized that they were idiots for awakening things they should not be awakening. The 11th area is called Void, with black leaves as the danger sign. You would need to bring torches for this one or light sources that can last a long period of time because there is no light at all in this area. A normal torch here would only last about 10 seconds before the eternal darkness and spine-chilling cold winds can blow it out. There is actually a day and night cycle but for the animals and predators residing here only, because humans can only see darkness. Flame Qi can work, at least it can light a reasonable chunk of the surroundings, or until your Qi runs out it can be so. No animals could be identified or even captured at all, killed? Not a chance there is no light and all animals there has some sort of stealth skill or dark Qi attribute that can be undetectable by human senses alone and that’s about it from the 11th area. The 12th and final area that was reached by humanity is called The Phantom forest, or Ghost valley but It is famously known as The Sky Pierre. It has transparent leaves as its danger sign. There was no ground in this forest, upon arriving you would literally be in the sky. The trees were growing on clouds, and all the animals had wings or can levitate. Everything there was all clouds, but it had an infinite supply of water flowing on each cloud, like a waterfall. What lies below The Sky Pierre, we do not know. Nobody has been brave or stupid enough to venture to the depths in The Sky Pierre. You would need to have at least a saint class martial artist to enter this place because if you are a level lower than the saint class, you would fall to the depths upon entering The Sky Pierre. Only saint classes and above can levitate and fly using their swords or even float themselves since they have achieved a certain stage of enlightenment, causing them to float or bend even air itself. No one has killed the beasts that reside in the 12th area, they are simply too fast for them. Even dragons live here, but they are the smaller and fast types only being 3-5 meters max in size, but they are not to be underestimated. These fast and small white ghost-dragons can manipulate air by will and can chop you up to a very fine meat paste if you’re being cocky or even let your guard in the slightest. There were about 30 people who explored the 12th area, 15 saint classes, 10 deity classes, and about 5 demi-god classes and there were no losses surprisingly. No one died until that happened… something happened that made them come back. It was catastrophic, so much so that they had to stop exploring the Ming’s Forest. Only the 3 demi-god class martial artists returned, and everyone else is presumed to be dead.
“I don’t understand. Why did they stop, exploring after the 12th area of Ming’s Forest? And why were the 3 demi-god classes were left? Something is definitely up.” Asked Sung Kang filled with suspicion from 2nd book’s explanation and thought to himself that the last part was full of shit.
I don’t know the exact reason why they stopped there but, I know there was some sort of scheme or betrayal that happened in the 12th area. Don’t look at me like that!!! I don’t know what exactly happened. Said 2nd book.

There was a story about when the 3 demi-god class assholes returned, they never had any injuries, not even missing body parts. The worst part was they were some witnesses who saw those 3 assholes meeting at night and they were not grieving but instead, those assholes were laughing and cackling like it was the funniest thing that ever happened. Said 3rd book while growling like a feral beast thirsty for blood.

That was probably the angriest, Sung Kang has ever seen 3rd book become in his whole time in Murim. Sung Kang thought 3rd book was a joker most of the time, but this time Sung Kang felt 3rd book’s emotions by instinct. It was definitely personal this time.
“Can you tell me who were the 3 people?” asked Sung Kang.
Sung Kang asked 3rd book who the 3 people were, and then suddenly an explosion of Qi erupted from 3rd book’s cover. The dragons on 3rd book’s cover were also going berserk. 3rd book’s energy was pure rage, the intent to kill, and the epitome of hatred all condensed into one. The outburst of Qi was so powerful that some of the black-barked and red-leafed chaos trees which are known to be one of the strongest known trees that even a 100-meter dragon can’t uproot were blown away and burnt then reduced to powder like paper thrown into the fire just by 3rd book’s violent outburst of Qi. 3rd book’s body began to be damaged, the book cover was beaten up. The dragon heads in the cover were bleeding and spraying blood all over the place. It was a gruesome sight to behold.

While 3rd book is in a berserk state, Sung Kang and the rest of the books were trying desperately to bring 3rd book back to normal from his sudden rage… meanwhile, inside one of Sung Kang’s bag pockets, we can see Cocoa enjoying her hot cocoa without a care for the world with the purest, most innocent, and shining eyes ever. Sung Kang partially transformed his attack form by instinct because of 3rd book’s thick bloodlust of Qi that erupted violently. Sung Kang’s whole body turned into a black and white mixed granite-like color and had scales all over his body, His head turned into a dragon with snake-like eyes, his hands grew more fingers with longer and wider nails that now look like falchions with an ax’s head on the front on each finger. He also grew more height and muscles turning him into a 28-foot behemoth with 20 blade-like fingers. Sung Kang then ran away from 3rd book about 2 kilometers away, then in a blink appeared in front of 3rd book then dropped-kicked 3rd book with the strongest force ever while putting all the Qi in Sung Kang’s foot instinctively for more power. 3rd book then shot off to a monstrous speed and hit a mountain with the full force of about 1 million charging bulls, cutting open a mountain that made it look more like a plateau now than a mountain. 3rd book then became unconscious of the impact of the drop-kick and also because of the chaotic nature of Sung Kang’s Qi. Sung Kang then lost consciousness and vomited a bit of blood from the recoil of his new form and from not cultivating even a little bit to raise his cultivation level, making him vulnerable If he could not find the elixirs and finally raise his cultivation.
Sung Kang slowly started opening his eyes, and the first thing he sees is Cocoa, sleeping on his chest drooling like a tsunami. Sung Kang then grabbed the sleeping Cocoa by the clothes, wiped the drool he was covered with, and then put the sleeping Cocoa inside his backpack pocket with all the blankets and soft pillows that Sung Kang made back in the apartment complex. Standing up, Sung Kang realized and then noticed new changes yet again in his body. He has grown taller, His nails changed into a curved blade with an ax head at the front in each of his fingers. His fingers were also weird, there were too many fingers in just one hand. From 5 fingers in each hand to 10 fingers in each hand.
“Fucking awesome.” Said Sung Kang looking at his monstrous hand.
But Sung Kang wasn’t bothered by this even one bit, he was even more pumped that his body was slowly becoming the ultimate juicing machine and he was excited to try his fingers on chopping and squeezing up some alien fruits in Murim. Sung Kang’s passion for making the perfect juice has reached a higher level. Sung Kang then grabbed his backpack then went to the place where he drop-kicked 3rd book with a monstrous force which he could now remember doing, which was just the mountain a few kilometers from them. He could see all the books gathering around the still unconscious 3rd book and stabilizing 3rd book with all their energy. Chains were wrapped around 3rd book as 3rd book was still berserk but it was not as bad as before. The books noticed Sung Kang’s presence and stepped aside.

Sung Kang then released his Qi to the red chains, turning them into a black color. The black-colored Qi shot inside 3rd book like a bullet shattering the other chains that were holding the 3rd book to powder.

The black Qi that went inside 3rd book repaired all the parts that were worn out by the berserk Qi. 3rd book then took on a new form, 3rd book increased has its width and height. It was now 30 meters wide and 30 meters tall and 3rd book now had 800,000 pages worth of information. The whole entirety of 3rd book’s body became a solid black color with different textures of stone and precious metals lined with 3 different colors of lava, which were red, green, and blue. 3rd book was then covered with fire in multiple colors but it was like a gentle flame with no heat at all to the touch. The dragons on 3rd book’s cover have now taken a new and much more powerful form, each dragon head now had 66 eyes and 777,777 horns and was covered with veins on all over its body, all were divided into 3 colors which were white with black veins, red with green veins, and yellow with purple veins implying a new type of power on each color and new a type of Qi on each vein. There were also 15 scaly, powerful claws with alien proportions sticking out, that we’re keeping the whole book shut. The final piece of the 3rd book’s evolution was 10 giant eyes in the center of its cover, with 1000 irises inside of each eye. It looked like a jar with many different kinds of eyes, somehow looked creepy. It took about a full day for 3rd book to stabilize.
