The officer helps the immigrants to safety as Mordechai disarmed the last bomb. People in the audience were amazed by the young boy's heroics and intelligence.
"So, Yale student. Do you have a name?" the officer asks.
“Dr. Mordechai Zayne, sir.” He answered.
"Constable Ross," the officer greeted. "We got shuttles coming in five and moving many people out here! You're getting on the first one."
“We will be sitting ducks, constable!” Mordechai argued.
"Hey, if you have a better idea, we're all ears! But we need to get these people out here any way possible!" Ross defends as the shuttles pull up.
People were eager to get on. But for Mordechai, it was a death trap. He didn't relent to get on for authority reasons but reasons for everyone's safety. The shuttles wasted no time driving out of the city. Still hearing the gunfire, the screams of fear and agony, and seeing and feeling the explosions nearby and from afar, it was a horrifying experience for everyone watching the carnage. But for Mordechai, it was a lesson learned.
The shuttle acted like a slow-moving convoy; they all stuck out like a sore thumb. Anyone could spot them and attack the shuttles. Making matters worse, they were on the main streets. To no surprise to Mordechai, his worst fears came true when he saw an RPG missile clip from one of the front shuttles.
The shuttle exploded, rocking and toppling over his and everyone else's shuttle bus. Lying on its side, Mordechai was conscious enough to stand back up and open the emergency door. Climbing off the shuttle bus first, he started to help most who get out on their own. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Sadly, the first two shuttle buses before him weren't so lucky.
Mordechai and the others had to move fast, not knowing there would be another missile strike. Only a few people left, and Mordechai saw another RPG missile head right for them. He was prepared as he summoned his compound bow and shot a heavy arrow at it.
With an RPG missile traveling 294 meters per second, Mordechai's arrow traveled five times as fast. Piercing through the missile, it exploded in midair. The heat from the explosion was stifling as Mordechai took cover.

Rising to his feet, he surveys the area, finding a dozen survivors. Then, a Jeep pulls up with Third Rev militia soldiers. As they left the Jeep, they started firing on the fleeing civilians.
Mordechai returned fire using electric arrows at the militia, talking all five down. At least the civilians were scattering, making it hard for the militia to attack them.
Recovery was short-lived as two more Jeeps headed right for them. Mordechai shoots a transmuted smoke bomb arrow through the windshield, which explodes inside the Jeeps. It was very effective as one of the Jeeps veered off the road and crashed into a pole. The other Jeeps just stopped, but the militia inside was coughing and puking.
Hearing gunfire, Mordechai took refuge in a closed shopping mall. He then heard a screeching van pull up in front of the mall. Mordechai felt they were after him as the militia kicked out the mall doors. There, they saw a young boy running away. Mordechai's assumptions would be right as they open fire on him. The echo of gunfire and broken glass filled the empty mall as Mordechai ran for his life.
With the militia just a little behind, Mordechai had to do something. The numbers of the Third Rev militia are staggering, with a couple of dozen soldiers on every floor. He knew Third Rev militia members surrounded the mall. London Underground and Overground train stations were out of commission for maintenance issues.
His flying out of the mall was more dangerous since he would be shot out of the sky. And no matter how good he would hide, they would hunt and kill him. For Mordechai, he had no other choice but to fight. But he would need more than just his intelligence, abilities, and will to act for him to survive. He was going to have to transcend.
The shopping mall was 1,600,000 sq ft (150,000 m2) with over 300 stores. It was good that he knew his way around the mall, as he needed more gear. He immediately broke into a sporting goods store. Before getting started, he materialized an electrical arrow and shoved it into an electrical socket, resulting in the mall losing power and leaving everyone in the dark.
Fortunately for Mordechai, he has nocturnal vision and sees perfectly. He couldn't relax for long as he got prepared. He found some gear to change in. First, he put on a bow hunting jacket with matching pants. He then spotted a tactical vest that doubled as a bulletproof vest. He then put on tactical boots and protective gloves. He wore a visor with a breathable face covering to seal his identity.
He took well in the mirror to see if he needed anything else. Mordechai then put his hood up as he looked menacing. And the finishing touches, he summoned his pair of wings. But he still needs to be done; Mordechai would need more than his bow and arrow as he stocks up on supplies.
