As Wesley sleeps he dreams of the Pokémon he had encountered. The beautiful butterfly Pokémon and the white flashing cocoons they were protecting, the adorible running moss balls and their mossy troll faced mother, Eevee and Elekid playing with Revna. He dreams of them all playing together in a large open feild laughing and skipping around. Suddenly the sky darkens, the winds pick up rapidly and a scream is heard. When they all turn to look, Delsey is running toward them yelling and screaming, waving her arms directing them to run. Behind her is a large black cloud with giant red glowing eyes. The same eyes Wesley had visioned before, the same eyes that Thorkell had described. The dark cloud grew as Revna and all the Pokémon turned to run and scream in fear. The dark cloud began to form the shape of a wolf skull, its eyes glowed brighter and its teeth formed long and sharp and in a split second the cloud swooped down, consuming Delsey.

Wesley wakes quickly sitting straight up. He's sweating so much it feels like he just got out of a shower. He stands up and begins walking in circles around the fire. "Why is this happening?" He thinks to himself. "Why are are my nightmares ending with Delsey dieing? How can I get her home safely? What am I suppose to do?" Wesley hears soft quiet foot steps approaching him. When he turns he sees Revna standing behind him staring blankly at the fire.

"You saw them too." She says slowly "The Pokémon in the feild, The cloud with red eyes... Delsey."

Wesley feels a chill down his spine. Not only did she have the same vision but shes speaking strangly and she didnt call Delsey Embla.

"You're scared and confused by the visions, but your confusion is because of your longing for the wrong path." She continues in a haunting monotone. "Your true path has been chosen for you, You just need to embrace it. Trust in the gods as they trust in you. Do this and you will have nothing to fear."

"But I need to to get us home." Wesley says

"One step at a time Wesley." Revna says as she picks up the egg sitting next to Wesley's sleeping Elekid. "If everyone in Midgard focused solely on the end goal no one would get there. For instance."

Revna turns and throws the egg against the wall shattering it. Wesley's heart stops as he rushes over to the pieces and finds the tiny half developed pokemon that was inside.

"What have you done! Why revna!" He says hysterically.

"I wanted a powerful Hornskox like my father and I have no interest in waiting for it to hatch a Gjallcalf, I have no interest in waiting for Gjallcalf to evolve into Hornskox and I have no interest in training it to make it powerful. by breaking the egg because I want to skip ahead, I instead doomed it."

Revna walks slowly over to Wesley who is on his knees beside the poor pokemon. She puts one hand on his shoulder and moves her other hand in a circular motion over the Pokémon. It begins to glow and the pieces of the egg begins to hover and piece by piece begin reconstructing themselves back together.

"If you follow the true path the gods have chosen for you." She says as the final piece of the egg returns to its place.

"And take each step you need to take." The egg begins to glow and turns into a tiny fiery calf Pokémon.

"Than you will reach the end of your journey." The calf begins to glow again Wesley leans and crawls backwards as it evolves into a large and mighty Hornskox

"Now do you understand Wesley?" Revna says tapping the Hornskox with a pokeball locking it inside.

"Yes Revna. But what if I fail?" Wesley says lowering his head

"You will." She grins. "And you will learn from it. Than you will fail again and learn more. When you reach the final step of your path you will have the knowledge from past failures on your side ensuring your success Wesley."

The fire begins to die down and Revna turns to return to her sleep corner of the long house.

"One last question Revna." Wesley says. Revna stops not turning back to him. "What happens if I fail the final step."

The fire dies as Revna turns toward Wesley her eyes begin to glow red.

"Than we are all doomed."

Wesley wakes again. The egg and Elekid are laying by the fire which is still burning nicely. It was all a dream.
