Sanju carried the the Core of Samsara on his palm, walking back to his father Radithya after they saw Kalina's body disappeared into lights. He watched him panting heavily as he wondered if that impact completely severed him, he was wounded from the burns that ignited from him. Maha is injured that his attire almost ripped from both of his sleeves and cape, almost revealing his muscular chest--he was panting from the lack of energy he has. Sanju landed on the tree branch with his father Radithya, both also equally injured from head to toe--but they will regenerate their injuries even faster after all. Sanju put the Brahmastra away and sighed in relief, while radiating the 'light' to restore the damage had done.
"The darkness you hide, has brought you despair. Although there are those who could not share the truth and they told us lies," Sanju turned around and helped him, although his father still watched him intently.
He couldn't imagine that he was able to fight alongside him, but Sanju still had lots of adventure ahead of him. Maha laughed painfully while smiling and his bangs almost covering his eyes, before lifting his head to see him at his face.
Maha looked... broken, like the other Asuras but he fell deeper to the void--because it went darker than he imagined. This was an eye-opener for him, it truly becomes what he feared the most and he failed to contain his anger. Despite his wounds, his expressions couldn't lie and he accepted his defeat. His memories was regained as he walked towards him, his expression is soft and didn't filled with hatred and all. "Maha... listen, you can't revive someone who died long time ago... yet in our current world, many have their soul stuck in somewhere--even though he, or she is still alive. Remember that you just did the wrong things... for the sake of doing it, you don't have to dwell yourself there."
Radithya stood behind his son Sanju, not wanting to interfere because this is a battle between himself and his enemy. 'This is unexpected, maybe he could know that the life is not as it seems before. To be a Raksha, is a whole new journey for him. Please tell me...' he prayed silently, watching the two at the same time. "What did Kalina said to you, before she passed?" Sanju asked, he remembered the words came out to his mouth that he just questioned Kalina from before.
"She said... 'Find peace, and be happy..'... a few hours before she said those."
Maha replied, he exhaled softly as the time is running short. "All I wanted to do, to save her... to save the future that is at stake... perhaps I was relieved after we confessed our feelings, until time stopped for two days before it broke when she died... and everything I seen are bloody... and full of hatred. My rage caused me into something I never thought... my fate ended here, you won the battle today. So, is my daughter Izana doing fine?" he asked.
Sanju nodded, before he took a heavy breath. Maha looked grateful that Izana were able to live in a peaceful future, even though what he did is terrible. "Maha... I know I'm not fit for this, nor I will have regrets because you hurt anyone's feelings, but..." Sanju made Maha looked straight into his eyes, the boy have a conflicted expression that he might cry.
"Sometimes... reality can be cruel... it's a harsh and brutal fate for us humans. Not even they can bend it if someone's fated to die, and there's no ending where humans live and never die. As I said, Maha, you've done enough... I may not fully forgive you what you did to our deceased mentor, friends... and me... who you experimented on, along my friend who also your experiment... yet still you carry such heavy burdens. You will need a lot of redemption if you want to move on."
His voice was barely heard but heard enough to hear as he felt the excruciating pain in his abdomen--from the place he would stand, the tree behind him was growing an exotic leaf and a flower that hasn't bloomed. "Kalina said this, for you..." Radithya spoke, holding the spirit orb of Kalina within that floating on his palm. "What... did she say?" Maha asked, Radithya approached him. "She said... 'Happy birthday, to my sweet husband'..." he remembered that because he has heard her message before it finished and disappeared on his palm, which his eyes widened at that moment.
Maha couldn't believe what he had heard, he was sad that he couldn't see her again and hearing the words from the former was making him feel upset, but glad enough that they do understand him in a way or another. "Sanjaya Adinata... can I ask you a favor?" Maha began, a smile was formed across his face.
Sanju only silently looking at his eyes, his mouth stayed close as Maha got shocked about it. "Will you... perform a funeral for Kalina?"
Sanju blinked his eyes when he heard that, "Me?" he furrowed his eyebrows, couldn't believe that Maha trust him and his judgment to lead a proper funeral. "Kalina is an Adinata, you two are part of Adinata Family--so it will suit her legacy--not me. Her name... should be remembered with a good faith, and lead her into the correct path. However, I know she has to live on--and continue her legacy, thanks to her descendants," he murmured.
"When time comes, I'll ensure her descendants will become something special, a gift to her."
Outside...
Karuna prayed that they were okay as he finished defeating the Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts, hoping that Renata informed the updates that they were okay. He watched her opened the portal and saw a gigantic spectral form in the human world. Sanju and his father Radithya landed on the mid-air, making the others were shocked that this is Maha's final form. "WHAT THE-!?" they suddenly yell all at the same time as the last, he gave an amused smile while he watched Maha is slowly becoming a Pseudo-Asura.
Meanwhile, his chest has opened up a large circle-like formation along with an eye in the middle that had a tentacle-like appendages. Maha transformed back into his human form, panting heavily after he finally got defeated by them. There was Orther who was floating beside him, injured as hell that he can't even use his eyes properly as his main ability.
Izana was held by her friend Kirana while standing, panting as she had to endure the pain from within her body--injured from the battle that they had against her father's henchmen.
"Just... do whatever you want. Kill me, hurt me or torture me, anything you want; isn't this what you are dreaming of? Or, you can kill both of us…?" Orther muttered, panting heavily as his hair was messy from the blood and the fight he got from both Haruna and Damian.
Maha looked very broken now, what can they possibly do that? His powers were too strong that he didn't have any way to stop them. Even though Maha was the most horrible monster ever--her words is how her father was actually a hero, which was contradictory in his case. That making him felt even worse because he deserved to be tortured.
Izana was held by her friend Kirana while standing, panting as she had to endure the pain from within her body--injured from the battle that they had against her father's henchmen. She was horrified of what her father Maha has done, but seeing the tree and Sanju's words calmed her fear as well. "Father, I..." she muttered softly, watching Maha dying while Orther remained unmoving--he was furious. "Izana, are you sure about this?" Kanae asked, she prayed that Izana is mentally fine. "I know... I know my father did a bad thing, but... if I can forgive him and accepting the fact he killed innocent people... everything will be okay, right?"
Sanju watched his friends came, he narrowed his eyes when Karuna is staring at Maha at disbelief and shock. "Sanju... I'm... so sorry for dragging you and everyone into this mess, I know... my father did something terrible..." Izana confessed, she couldn't fathom that she had to let everything crumble like this. Sanju only stood motionless, just like a broken puppet.
Maha was severely wounded that he almost bled to death and he wouldn't even be able to hold on for very long. His expression displayed pain and suffering, but surprisingly it was only for Izana--even though he did bad thing. He now lost everything and hope faded, which a sign of a true defeat from someone's final stage of life. "Izana... I hope you know the risks you've taken. Our world has... nothing to recover anymore," his sadistic chuckles echoed, disturbing the students and they walked closer to her.
Izana... was too saddened about this, she didn't react even she got threatened earlier by him. "But even so, we believe that one day… everything will be okay again," she continued with a broken sobs, holding back her tears. Once Sanju heard the sobs coming from her, he bit his lower lips--looking down that he was conflicted with both choices--should he spares him or not. "Sanjaya," Radithya started, tapping his shoulder. Sanju hold up his hand at his father, telling him to let him decide.
Sanju then glanced at Maha, took a deep breath. He had witness the boy that he could be strong for everyone, although there were parts where people could be changed, once they finally met their redemption.
Raiden watched everything that envelopes, not gonna lie--Izana isn't at fault here; she was a victim--where she also is too affected by her father's decision. Maha is always viewed as her protector and a role model for her, and now she wasn't sure of who she had to follow in her life. It was so bad that she can't hate her father, regardless what your family member have done.
"Izana, what do you want me to do?"
Sanju asked, still facing his back on her. Izana cried at her answer, putting her hands on her face--just to be embraced by Kirana's embrace while Kanae rubbed her back to soothe her down. "Just... save him, please..." she begged, then she added. "Save my father... I can't... stand having him gone from this world..." she sniffed, Kanae's shoulders softened after she let out her cries. "But first, I have to ask what you want to do when I saved him."
The girl paused, before holding her arm tightly as her bangs covering her eyes. "I... don't know, I'm unsure. All I wanted is... that my father able to move on from his guilt, despite what happened..."
Kirana who was on her feet, stroked her hair. She looks at Izana with pity as she see the tears flowing down Izana's face. For Sanju and his allies; they can't blame Izana entirely--they blame Maha because of what he have done and only Izana who have compassion and forgiveness towards him. "Right, he's an immortal and... we can't kill him... so does Orther here. Wait, I had an idea; how about we 'rebirth' him to newborn with his memories, the way it will like this; the person will be born as an infant--like 9 months embryo since that kid, and..."
Karuna was taken aback by Jaemin's suggestion, he's a scientist after all--and that's was his strong research. "This is just a suggestion, his memories will be restored but this will result as if he was born again... unless he wanted a second chance, the rest of the fate and destiny will decide that. If he didn't wish to live again, perhaps the remaining life will vanish altogether and went into afterlife with his other compatriots."
"Alright, Sanjaya."
Sanju nodded at him, before he turned to Maha.
Maha, he thought he will fight everyone or even he will use the remaining power but he can't. "Any last words, Maha?" he asked, he had to separate the spectral being (which is Maha's core) within Maha and him--only then the Asura Raksha Maha will be gone. "So this is the end for me, huh? What does father told me before?" Maha said, smiling as his vision are both cloudy from tears and lack of energy for his body. "And not to mention, I'm glad I get along with all of you when I'm still alive..." he smiled and chuckled while looking at each of them. "However, I never thought I'm really made a mistake, I got manipulated and this is an awful day..."
He paused when he felt the Core starting to lose control and he noticed that Orther was… betraying him by struggling to take the Core with him, Sanju immediately use his claymore--he swung his blade upwards before unleashing his blade's strength towards him and the tree behind. In the process, Maha smiled peacefully and accepted his fate that he will disappear and be 'reborn', he actually happy if this is his ending.
"Rest well, Maha... thank you for your services, though... we're your enemies. Have a good life, new life will come upon you... in this world."
Sanju spoke, holding the orb that has Maha's soul and now faced with the spectral being again that was taken over by Oswald within his Core, this time they will defeat it and destroy the Core once and for all. "Izana, here," he handed the white orb to Izana, making her holding it carefully.
"Sanju, leave this to me. We know you've done enough, so you should rest for now. If we made you suffered more injuries, how could you... we will return the favor someday."
Karuna stated, seeing him nodded before he stood to face the spectral being--while he was in his Mahesvara Raksha form; one who commands the destruction and demise of worlds. He snapped his fingers, conjuring a supernova into a quantum entangled single black hole to lock the target--as he landed gracefully on the Tree of Universe, facing the spectral being before them. He created a neutron star as one of his tricks to distract and launch them towards the monster, destroying the spiritual form and the heart made of magical energy.
Karuna formed a gravitational collapse of the first super massive black holes after creating a second and giant cluster of neutrons stars, as they are spinning faster than any other super massive black hole, the 'distraction' was able to lure in the beast and they had to jump. The spectral being screeched, causing some of the others covered their ears in the process. He made a ring that similar to Saturn's ring and gave him a ring-cut, the monsters can't withstand against such a space matter and such.
The other Rakshas must stay out of the field that Karuna made, known as his domain dimension he made; Spatial Quantum Entanglement. He NEVER use this ability because it requires an expanded area in order for it to expand rapidly. Those who entered his domain will suffer the effects of having their atoms scattered and disintegrated by the Quantum Particles, but Karuna ensures that he will not harmed by staying out of his field.
Karuna noticed the spectral being still trying to resist and attacking him, which he evaded the appendages. The Mahesvara Raksha grumbled, the reason why he never liked this power is because it can create a powerful and luminous explosion that can rival a powerful star, and that explosive reaction will create supernova-like reaction. Plus, it will risk the lives of anything to the very molecular particles, thus the impact will reach the atmosphere or planets--even including the land beneath their very feet. At that moment, he knew he needed to channel the same amount of energy as the blast--otherwise, he might never make it. But, he know how to control gravity from a certain distance so he might create a smaller expansion if he do so.
For the last attack to finish him, Karuna channelled the enormous quantum-black hole to contain the essence and gravity in his attacks until it successfully engulfed him, destroying him into specks that dissipated slowly, without giving the chance for its retribution. He then turned back to human, his teammates came and giving him congratulatory smile, telling him he's powerful than anything--but Karuna doesn't like being considered as a strongest and the powerful Raksha. He believed that people deserve to have a potential they can get, and also a power that surpassed by everyone.
The spectral being screeched in pain, as it lashing and striking the three trees in one--which it successfully did to destroy it and the damage from the front are spreading onto others--leaving a gash that was able to tainting all the flowers' petals below--before the spectral being disintegrated into ashes. The void portal suddenly appeared when he was standing by the tree they had, the one they planted and now showing the portal of the Phantom Beasts inside. "What in the God's name is that…?"
Yukito asked them, in what he witnessed that all of Phantom Beasts roaming from there. All of them were shocked by the presence of the black void, with the Phantom Beasts that also has Rakshasas inside there. "That was… Phantom Samsara! Those are the source of their existences; the Phantom Beasts! Be careful everyone, the portal will absorb anyone who's coming near them! Even the Emperor and Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts!"
Sanju had to restrain himself with the others from the void portal--while Kinana keep a hold onto him, he couldn't hold on himself from the distortion. "What should we do?!" Raiden shouted when he was shielded by Kurikara, while Ryoma also shielded by Nagamitsu and both dragons had to keep themselves from getting pulled back. Radithya also confused that he kept a hold on Sanju, not wanting to let go.
Akito and Yukito are struggling to keep their hold on the railings, everyone had to restrain themselves as well. The other senior Rakshas had to keep up from getting pulled, not wanting to be sucked in by the void distortion portal.
Althair knew that they won't be holding back any longer, he didn't know why but he had to do this and dashed towards Maha. "Althair, what are you doing?!" Haruse yelled, making everyone shocked by his sudden appearance. "I won't let you do this, again!"
Haruse snapped at him, angered that he witnessed something real serious from him which is risking his life. "Althair, what are you thinking?!" Salihin grimaced, he didn't expect him to do something that goes all extreme. "Althair… are you insane?" Renata cursed he clenched his fists, he couldn't believe that this is not the first time he witnessed this. Ryoma snarled, unbearing to witness him like this. "Do you have a death wish?! Do we really have to do this?!"
"Althair… tell me, are you insane?!"
Sanju started to figure out what he was doing when he was doing this to him, he clenched his fists that they didn't got pulled in. "Althair… are you going to… bring the beast there, with you?" he asked with disbelief when he stared at him, pupils shaken by that-he couldn't bear to witness the sacrifice that he was doing this time. "Are you going to... ARE YOU INSANE!? I-I can't have you... do this...! Not after you..." he shouted, and made Althair flinched. "Althair… you're not going to die from this, right?!"
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
"No." Althair replied without hesitation, staring at him in the eyes. "I'm not going to die from this."
Althair stared at Sanju when he was shocked by how all of them conflicted and mixed his reaction was, making him had to see what he have done. "I'm sorry… everyone," he smiled at the group when he was nearing the void, ignoring the beast's taunts that he need to let him go and couldn't stand of his presence. "I know this is sudden, even though I didn't like it at all-something tells me that this must be done-and I will come back when the time is come… although not this time. However, I kept my promise; that I will return."
Senja was wide-eyed at what they've witnessed, they couldn't believe what he did was totally a sacrifice.
"What is this madness… Althair?"
Haruse shouted at him, being his best friend and partner for a long time-he cannot bear the witness of watching him gone. "You are our leader Althair! We can't do this without you! You've contributed a lot to us! Even the Silver Slumbering Dragon, you're important to us, we can't do this without you!"
Sanju clenched his fists that almost cut his skin when he watched him nearing the portal, he didn't know why but he felt a raging pile of emotions boiling up within him and wanted him to scream out loud. As much he wanted to stop him, he couldn't and he really struggled for that.
"Sanjaya, promise me one thing that you will be the first to find me when I came back, time will tell when will I came back after his demise… I entrust you for everyone when I'm gone. I don't know when but don't fret everyone. I will never forget all of you; especially you… Karuna."
Karuna didn't know how to felt but this time he was in disbelief and struck in grief, since he has been with him for a long time--he refuse to let this happen and want to let him go--he never wanted that. "Haruse, Renata, Aldiano, Salihin… and everyone in Silver Slumbering Dragon and Nirvana Organization, after many years of working together--I'm grateful that you're the one I can relate us… I'm glad that I met you," he mumbled, narrowing his eyes when he tried to hide his expression as he grumbled.
All of them were struck with the grief of his actions, making them mixed with many emotions. Sanju watched both of them entering inside the void portal that soon will be closing in front of them, all he could do is shouting Althair's name in both agony and anguish.
"ALTHAIR!!!"
When he was gone and the portal has been closed, Sanju kneeled down onto the ground--his tears welled up from his eyes. How many times did he suffered now? He wasn't sure when this is over… yet. The world went back to normal except what they have seen in their eyes. "Althair... I beg of you, please... return..." he muttered, gritting his teeth while he was slamming his fist at the ground. The rest were in both shock and felt dejected of his presence that they can't stay strong without him, not just a reminder of what they've learned by Althair when he began his journey--but as their mentor and the brother.
Haruse glanced at Sanju, who has been mentored by Althair as he began to approach him--seeing his friends of his team were having mixed reactions after the disappearance. Haruse was not alone when the others are crying with them, they were so hurt and conflicted by what he have done. "Sanju," he called him, in a soft and gentle tone--unlike his stern and rough from before. Sanju blinked his eyes when Haruse held his shoulder, in which he broke his silence. "I've told you, right? I'm sure he will come back someday... we only have to wait."
Those were the last words he has spoken, Sanju saw him closing his eyes and nodded at him. Perhaps, this is the right decision to make so he can defeat the adversary--the world must need the righteous and a certain protector for the balance of the Universe. They should carry his spirit and legacy, never let anything destroyed because this place will become their home in the present. Sanju saw his father Radithya also approaching him, he was equally upset as them--because he was indebted to Althair after he saved him from his misery in the past; an ally he've never expected to meet.
Sanju slowly stand up, before he turn around to face his friends. "Guys, let's go home..." he said, Raiden nodded reluctantly as he stand up with the rest. Akito still has a red eyes while Yukito sniffed a bit, Kanae followed what he said and Karina helped Kinana to stand--lastly Senja followed his command. Renata's elegance remained there despite her mourning state, not even Salihin didn't show his expression with his usual closed eyes. "Perhaps we should take a break... as for Maha's soul..." he muttered, looking at Izana who was holding the orb with her palms.
"We need to do something about it."
Few weeks later...
Izana's face went grimace, why do she have to take care of her reincarnated father who was now an infant? This is beyond her comprehension and her father is now an infant, since yesterday Izana was forced to keep him with her. The people who remembered Maha only know his face and presence, which is why Izana have to came up with different name (let's just say renaming him Mahatma Kartawinata wasn't the perfect choice either. If Sanju wanted to, that will be one step too far and of course). Now, she trying her best to take care of him with the help of her friends.
Maharastha Dharmadjie--while keeping the nickname Maha so they were reminded of him (but not the people). Izana had to wait for the infant to grow up into a young adult for two weeks, she watched his growth as Maha became a toddler from infant to the 9 months old--reverted to an 9 months old embryo so he had the appearance of a 9 months old, which he can soon be reincarnated. "It's okay, Izana… we didn't hate you, but still… there's something we didn't know about existence of Phantom Beasts," she heard Kasai elaborated, sitting on the chair at the dining hall in the morning. "By the way, did you remember anything when you're hypnotized?"
Kasai watched her shaking her head side to side, she'd absolutely had no idea what she was doing that time. "Not at all…" she sighed, before she turn around covering her lips with her fist. Izana turn around to see Juha holding his car key, she nodded when she look back at him and Kasai waved at them. She nodded with a smile, before taking her father with them. "Take care! Kashiya and I will guard the house!" Kasai said happily, she added. "Don't forget to grab some pastries for us!"
Juha was wearing a black turtleneck and dark blue fringed jeans underneath his khaki trench coat-in addition of dark brown boots under his fringed jeans. Izana was wearing a black tank-top underneath her open-shoulder white loose sweater and black short jeans, brown tights and black knee-length boots. Her platinum blonde hair was tied in messy topknot while leaving her bangs down, with black ribbon-like bowtie on while looking around her surroundings.
After that they got inside and he drove the car into Fresh Gallery, Juha was curious what kind of person this Maha was (as Maharastha Dharmadjie, not the Maha that everyone knows). Izana cradled the infant in her arms, SHE HATE THIS IF HE ACTED LIKE CHILD EVEN SHE ISN'T MOTHER! Why did he choose to be an infant? Now what should she name him until he returned...
"So, how's your father--erhm... the baby?"
Juha pointed at the child-Maha--who was currently 'fall asleep', he rubbed his eyes and Izana wondered why he do that. "At least, there's no evil presence when we're reincarnating him..." Juha spoke before his cheeks flushed in light pink color, not even imagining if her father was--she shook her head, this is not right if she ended up thinking that! "What are you thinking?" she asked, slapping his shoulder playfully. Juha went back to his usual cool-headed and calm expression on his face, before they got arrived at the Fresh Gallery and park the car. Both of them came out from the car and entering inside with the trolley, now they're shopping for groceries.
"This is awkward... we look like a married couple," Juha glanced at her, who furrowed her eyebrows and then glanced down at her. "And you hold the baby."
"It's not like we're really one," Izana growled, feeling her cheeks burned in embarrassment while Juha closed his eyes with his hands folded against his chest--he even got embarrassed that he gulped, before he murmured. "What a thing to say."
Izana was in the beverage section before entering the frozen food section, as Juhaku was at the ingredients and pastry section--knowing Kasai's favorite was those as they'll bought them into the trolley. "Hmm… hm?" he noticed someone in particular was at the ingredients section, his eyes widened to see him.
"Sanju, Mr. Adinata?"
Sanju and his father Radithya blinked when he heard Juha and he turn around, seeing him was there with his trolley on his hands. "Oh, Juha... you're here?" he asked, while they were in the middle of the path in the supermarket. "I was shopping groceries with Izana, how about you?" Juha asked. Sanju hummed for a moment in thinking, before he answered with a smile at him when he spoke. "Likewise, some ingredients for our kitchen resources, hotel and restaurant--by the way, how are you doing today? You know, after… you know what I mean. Apparently, my teammates were staying in my hotel--they were so exhausted that I had to give them some rooms for free."
He explained, while a dark shadow formed under his eyes, which make Juha sweat dropped by his sudden demeanor. "Hehe, sorry about that. My friends also had to stay over Haruna's mansion, he was so worried because of their mental state."
Radithya agreed with him since he really missed his presence and leadership, he always been the one who came up with anything and let them have their opinions and ideas to go. "Yeah, I've been sleepless that we cannot get over it…" he sighed, scratching behind his head. His eyes widened to see Izana carrying her father who was an infant, he and his son Sanju want to snort so bad. "Huh, looks like Maha is acting like he used to be, just a little bit..."
"Shut it, Sanju. We're just taking care of him because he's still a baby, and I can't curse when he's around."
Maha listened to them, he still remember who Sanju is--just that he didn't have such magic abilities to even speak on his past life. Maybe he's lucky he's given a second chance on living... again, so that's why he need to do--to learn more from the people. He tugged on Izana's shirt while pulling on her sleeve, which made her gasped that her shirt almost... revealing her bra strap that made the three of them turn away (feared of getting their ass kicked for peeking). "What?!"
Juha was also worried, what did this boy want? He looked at the baby--erhhm, Maha, so cute he became a cute human like this. Izana pinched on the baby's cheek, making Maha glared at her with wide eyes--still pulling her arms. She stared at the cereal boxes behind her, a great cereal to begin. Izana placed him inside the seat for the trolley, she was kinda frustrated by what he's up to--and will beat him once he reincarnated and went back into his 'original' age.
"How about you, Juha?" Sanju asked.
Juha frowned, tucking his hands inside his pockets when he shake his head. "Pretty much worse than ever, even though everything went back to normal… it doesn't change the fact that Althair's gone. Oh well, let's just take a break and shopping for our daily supplies. Oh hey, Izana... what took you so long?" he asked, seeing her glaring at him--while he was taking a step back until bumping by a cart, making him holding the person in front. "I'm making sure this brat (my dad, okay) didn't wander around like a homeless. Still an infant like a newborn."
"Just have the patience, Izana."
"But... Juha!" she pouted at him, then Maha was clapping in excitement. Sanju snorted, before he nodded at them. "Anyways, we'll be heading back to my hotel, see you guys!" he said with a smile when he glanced back at the trolley's wheel as it move to the direction--and he started pushing it, while his father follow him at the back. "Yeah, see you guys too!"
Sanju and his father Radithya finished buying groceries for their hotel and restaurant, they usually take turns when it comes to steering their car (they have two cars, one for them while the other for guests). Right now, they had a large space to sit if Sanju decided to add a few things in his car--like in the back, the front and passenger. Radithya still feel a bit conflicted by what happened, especially Althair--he always repaid his debts as someone special person.
He was almost half-way was about to cry but stop himself, because he had to keep being strong for the organization he had and for his son and many important things that he has to done. "So, who's driving?" Sanju asked, fiddling the key chain attached to his keys that have his number plate stamped--when his father responded with, "You're driving this time."
Sanju watched him waved his hands, turning around as his father started walking inside the car. "Car key," he gestured, Sanju unlocked the car with his new technology-made car keys. Then, they began to drive off back to their mansion that next to their hotel and restaurant. While his son was busy driving in silence, Radithya began to take out his phone and check the group messages from 'Silver Slumbering Dragon - Group' that was starred on top. "Raiden… what is your best friend up to now?" he mumbled, checking the messages by tapping the screen with his thumb. He sighed, before his thumbs pressed on the white box and typed in:
'Yes, Raiden--your bestie's father here. What is it?'
'FUCK THERE'S A GHOST!'
Radithya couldn't help but snort, he shook his head with eyes closed before opening them. How naive must this kid be? He groaned, he have to scold him later for sneaking out in the middle of the night again! Ryoma had to check up on his son to make sure Raiden isn't making havoc in Sanju's hotel and Radithya's restaurant. "What did he say?" Sanju asked, stopping his car at the red light. "The usual nonsense about the Ghost App, typical him," Radithya shook his head, before he typing on the phone 'WHAT?!' with lots of exclamation mark--scaring Raiden and his phone heard a vibration ringing sound when he received a reply. "Goddamnit."
They have arrived in the mansion and parked the car inside the garage, carrying their grocery bags separately for their home and restaurant. The guests has been checking in and out since there's many of them, mostly the domestic and tourists outside Yogyakarta because it was located for the mall for both leisure and other services. Luckily, their hotel and restaurant were considered the Grandest and one of the Best with moderate-high price enough to gather hundreds and thousands of clients to join their services. Although it's a four-star hotel that not just for leisure, business and many of it include V.I.P room (because of the popular showbiz, celebrities and royal parties) but there's a restaurant that was connected to the Grand-convertible ballroom.
Sanju couldn't believe his friends really working hard in his hotel after they applied their applications, he knew they're the hardworking bunch that no worries they will slack off. Firstly, they were in charge of foreign affairs in handling expatriates--like explaining things if the foreign country guest had the same or common language, English or Indonesia language with them. Secondly, they are the ones who check in and out so they're tasked to greet and guide their customers and give them all services available--everything was given by the instructions they've read--then the third, they applied work visa and because Sanju is very wealthy--he can pay them the salary without any worry.
The hotel gets viral because the employees has foreign members of his team, because the news about Sanju's hotel having foreigners under his command and the story about him are always spread; although he didn't know about the gossip, his workers and his students never fail to cover this information. Sanju make them applied without his help, he didn't like nepo-hire people (yes, he doesn't want his father to whoop his ass in buying their applications) and they have their own achievements which is enough to hire by Sanju (as Senja was surprisingly the most capable person to manage hotel issues in Sanju's terms of conditions) and one of the reason why everyone wanted to join the team.
'I hope Althair is doing okay in that dimension...' Sanju thought, before he began to visit his friends first--because they finished resting and began their work. He wanted to see Raiden in the F&B Service and he can see that he was keeping an eyeful on the dinner feast for the guests, the swimming pool also filled with kids and adults. Radithya whistled, proudly seeing his restaurant being filled with guests--especially the one who were his customers.
Akito was in the human resources department of the hotel with Kanae who was making a preliminary test for the candidates, spinning his pen while sitting on the chair while holding several CVs of the applicants--his head supported by his hands. Akito smirked, before checking the qualifications as he tapped his glasses upward. "Kanae, you'll be in charge of greeting the candidates. I'll be in charge of interviewing because you will get sleepy and fall asleep in the office," he raised an eyebrow with a playful grin, Kanae rolled her eyes before one of the Indonesian employees in their department--Rika; the manager sighed softly. "So, how many candidates are there this time?" Rika spoke.
Akito grinned, putting the paper down on the table. "Lots, Rika. Lots. As one will be hired at a time."
"Or perhaps at least we need more than 150... we need to prepare some training classes with our team, okay?"
Yukito was part of the security department after finishing the security patrol with his employees and Senja, they spent the time enjoying some small talks before going back to their works. Kinana was surprisingly in charge of engineering department because of her skills in becoming a mecha-humanoid form, making them wide-eyed by the sixteen-years old's skills in engineering. Karina was in charge of accounting in payment and monthly payment on salaries as Kirana was in charge of ensuring all guest's rooms were nice, clean and hygienic; especially for V.I.P.s.
Sanju watched his father take out his phone and checked the group chat, taking a closer look of the photo by zooming in with his two fingers swiping the screen. "How about our forefather Sanata? Is he still in our mansion?" Radithya asked, his son nodded as he folded his arms.
"Yeah, and..."
Sanata was wiping his youthful face after washing them inside the bathroom, his scruffy short black messy hair was drenched after he had a shower--his bangs almost covered his dark brown eyes as his porcelain complexion was soaked by a warm steam of water. He retained his cold and stoic expression like usual (even the employees of Sanju's guesthouse and Radithya's restaurant still trying to get used to it), but doesn't really intent to ask or interact if they’re busy.
He lifted his eyebrows when he saw something appear and disappear, it was like a fireball--he believed that to be banaspati; an Indonesian supernatural creature with great power, usually found in forests and used by shamans as black magic. Banaspati is known to have two different forms, namely a fireball that lives among big trees in the middle of the forest and a fire man. Sanata believed in supernatural and folklores, but he never been the one who afraid of it; he just need to see things through. "Hmm?"
"Master Sanata! Hurry, we need your help!"
One of the employees in the mansion knocked the door to his room and Sanata open it, seeing the terrified expression on the face of the employee. "There was a fireball like creature inside the Adinata Mansion! Sanju is trying to chase him, but it's been gone and returned, and... the other guest can't stand it! People are evacuating the guesthouse!" he said.
Sanata growled, before he speak. "Tell them to evacuate... I'll see what's going on, you make sure this place stay safe," he said and the employee ran downstairs, and the scene changed into Adinata Mansion as flames erupted and spread around the first floor, which Sanju and Radithya tried to catch the creature.
Sanata watched in disbelief, while all sudden the BANASPATI-LOOKING CREATURE appeared inside the mansion! He still doesn't know if it was real or not, but one thing that can make it flee is; a bucket of cold ass water.
Sanata grabbed a bucket of water and use his ability to decrease the temperature into low until it become a cooling liquid, splashing the fireball-like creature as it tried to fly away from the mansion--which ending up wreathing as the fireball losing control and fled from the mansion. "Good grief, what is this all about?" he murmured, handing the bucket to one of the employees.
Sanju and Radithya are shocked to see how Sanata able to put off the flames in the mansion, they wondered; what the heck was that?
"Let's call it off for today..."
His friends who heard of that starting to get worried, especially when they had to protect their guests first...
