Chapter XIII: The Arbiters

Chapter XIII: The Arbiters

*ೃ༄

Damian observed that Haruna was still in a bad mood, once they were escorted into the Nirvana Organization that Karuna brought them there. Kirana, Izana, Juhaku and Masaki were joining as well--after the eruption almost died down from the attack of Phantom Beasts.

"How long he has been sulking?"

Masaki asked, still reading his book while standing beside Juha. "About two months... he hasn't mentioned his name the last week," Izana replied, folding his arms and looking at Kirana who was the only woman. The two were sitting in the same sofa, then Haruna remain on his spot and didn't say a word.

Haruna prayed that Sanju is doing alright after their feud, he can tell that he's doing this to protect them--despite the organization's mysterious nature. Juha, Masaki, Izana and Kirana are trying their best to comfort him as the feelings did not change much even after Kirana told him to forget and focused on the path that is ahead.

Karuna shake his head with a sigh, sometimes he cannot stand himself or his subordinates when they need time to reflect in the circumstances. His attention was drawn to Jaemin, who has to take the task and investigate the last raid last month. "How was the weather back then?"

"Cloudy and huge rainfall. From reports, one of the soldiers were missing in action, his corpse were dismembered by those alien-like creaures.”

Jaemin replied, the documents are organized neatly and in the recent files; there were dead and missing people that were believed to be possessed by the alien creatures similar to those kinds that have taken on the soldiers. "Those constructed, alien-like creatures with clock-like mechanisms are known as Interceptors. We codenamed each types of these creatures after Tarot cards that consist of seven main groups; Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. It's unknown where they came from, but it is highly suspected that they came from Dark Sea of the Void--the deepest layer of Phantom Samsara and the source of quantum forces--no humans can gain the access to go there. It can create quantum damages, just by one smallest wrong steps and that alone weaken their link on this plane of existence.”

Jaemin stated, now his cyan eyes were glancing at him and saw his facial expression turned serious and grim. Karuna hummed in deep thought after hearing that, he asked again. "So, only Asuras, Devas, Yakshas and Herukas can gain access to the area?" he asked. The Secretary-General nodded, before he added. "They're immortals, their resistances are much more advanced and there is no exact reason we could turn them into our asset," he continued to explain.

The jet has landed in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, luckily the clouds and lighting are calm. Karuna scooped up his twelve-years old daughter Vanya in his arms (he's a single-father despite being twenty-five years old), that made Juha feel a bit bad because he realized that Karuna is actually a family man--who devoted himself to his daughter and the entire world. Before the entrance doors of the jet opened, Jaemin brought a lot of news reports and military-connected about the organization for Karuna to read as Juha look on.

"Karuna, it's been a while!"

Kashiya Osafune; the twenty-three years old Japanese young woman greeted him with a gentle smile, she was one of the Executive Boards of Nirvana Organization. She has a long auburn hair is tied into ponytail with the bangs loose onto her cheeks and retaining a similar style, with the accessories like hairpins and her headdress-she has fair complexion. Wearing a standard Nirvana Organization uniform that similar to the design of safari uniform, which the female members wearing pants just like male members--matching khaki and black colors with high-thigh black boots.

Kasai Ichimonji; the twenty-three years old Japanese young woman smiling while standing beside Kashiya, she was her best friend and part of the Executive Board. The twenty-three years old young woman has a long orange hair with light orange and purple streaks with uneven bangs covering her orange eyes and bangs fell between her face, pale complexion and wearing a matching khaki and black uniform with Kashiya.

Vincent Soemitra; eighteen years old Indonesian archaeological investigator smiled at him, he's standing between the two young women that he was quite tall and slightly above his height. He has a short brownish-black hair with red streaks on his bangs and behind his ears that reached below his neckline, his long uneven bangs almost covering his violet-blue eyes and his cheeks, with light brown complexion. Wearing an attire that consists of white-collared turtleneck shirt-like sweater and black pants tucked into his brown knee-length boots, with addition of black collared jacket with chest pockets and the black fingerless gloves.

Elden Sambara; the twenty-seven years old Indonesian archaeologist waved at him, he was the General Manager of the Nirvana Organization. He had a messy black hair with mullet-like hairstyle, with a white and light-gray hue shades on his mullet and his bangs almost covering his silver eyes--wearing a stringed glasses and light fair complexion. Wearing a standard Nirvana Organization coat draped over his shoulders, wearing a collared military uniform with black-silver accents similar to Archaeological Security Assessment Forces' uniforms.

Kim Seong-hwa; the eighteen-years old South-Korean young man who was a Secretary-General of Nirvana Organization smiled at Vanya, after he brought his nephew and niece from his relatives to play with them. He has a black short hair with longer bangs, a dark brown eyes and slightly exotic tan complexion with a sharp jawline and lean-muscular built. Wearing a standard uniform coat for them, with underneath of black turtleneck and black pants tucked into a pair of dark gray riding boots and wears a fingerless black gloves.

Juha was surprised by the Executive Boards' sudden arrival, he has only three General Managers he knows but never heard of it. "And, the others are?" Juha asked curiously, which Elden responded. "Most of the Board Directors are entirely busy with the tasks they need to be involved with, both here and Seoul--we must gather them all before proceeding with the arrangements for the new members and the items we need," he explained to him, making Karuna agree and nodding at his thoughts--turning to each of them.

"How was the situation in Jakarta?"

"The aftermath of Phantom Eruption? Sheesh, pretty much bad since four-year post-disaster and the people still haven't managed to recover," Seong-hwa explained, checking his documents for the meeting--making him hummed in deep thought after hearing that before a military's van drove their way and seeing three adults.

Izana greeted them with Kirana and Masaki, while Juha is still awkward with Seong-hwa. Damian remained calm, while Haruna still being awkward around new people.

Few hours later...

Haruna was staring at the mirror of his reflection, his scruffy short black messy hair with long bangs were tousled and that almost covering his almond-colored eyes--his fair complexion remained the same. He looks like he haven't slept, but he prayed that Sanju didn't mean to say that harsh truth (even though he had to agree that it was all true)--the last thing he can remember was, he watched Sanju leave them together with Raiden, Akito and Kanae--jumping off to the cliff and fading to light. He can still feel it from the palms, the phantom of pain when he was hurt too badly-those images still can't erase.

He wondered if it's the truth that he's the vessel of Void Raksha, because Haruna felt like he wasn't himself when something is hurting him in the inside and that's very painful--he doesn't remember that happened, he was suffering. Which the dream was ended by a lightning strike where his body began to fade away. Maybe, Sanju has his reason to leave them behind like this--knowing they lost their connections with each other after the incident. Although, it has been already a month and half after Sanju has disappeared to join the Silver Slumbering Dragon that led by Althair himself, being hated by humankind for becoming a Garuda Raksha and endure the pain that has befalling on him. If only he can tell how much regret that weighed him every time he woke up on his bed, then his first thoughts will be wandering towards Sanju as of now.

Karuna observed him as he stood with his subordinate Jaemin and the rest, the Superintendent of Nirvana Organization watched from outside the lab while Haruna's friends--Izana, Juha, Masaki and Damian were waiting outside. He adjusted his glasses, watching the eighteen-years old young man stared blankly at his own reflection while standing there. "Seriously, it's been a month since he returned from the incident at the nightclubs... I never see him been serious lately," Damian shook his head, he stared at the reflection. "He still can't move on from Sanjaya Adinata's words? He should've known that he was trying to protect his friends," Jaemin stated coldly, folding his arms.

"Everyone have different ways to express their pain, Sanju was just protecting them from the dangers, and that Haruna has no idea about it--no matter how you see it through," he pointed to the lab where the young man was having his thoughts, unfolding his arms. His reaction became different from others and to think a month later after what happened, he is still not the same person. Izana watched as she stood beside Juha, she can see him still blaming himself. She had been aware of this, Damian as well, knowing Haruna has been affected because what Maha did to them--who is in association with them with different purposes.

Jaemin narrowed his eyes, he turned to them who were the witness of Sanju and Haruna's battle that ended coldly. "Can all of you tell us how did the conversation began?" the Secretary-General asked, Izana looked around before she sighed and revealed how the things went. "Sanju brought Raiden, Akito and Kanae with him... at first we didn't know what's going on, but we realized something behind his intention... and turns out Haruna didn't take it well because he thought Sanju is betraying us... as expected of his stubbornness. He became so desperate when all the talks he spewed like it's true, that I was surprised we did not feel the agony of his pain," Izana explained with Damian and Juha nodded at her theory.

"Sanju didn't want to fight him, but... when Haruna told us that he is one of Maha's experiment and he need to be eliminated... it clicked, Haruna has lost his patience and he took out all the things about the past, made Sanju felt a lot more rage than before... he didn't want to end the friendship--but it seems like Haruna and Sanju already had the fight because of the pressure and emotions... but at the end Sanju was able to get Haruna with his fist and took the defeat, he doesn't use any brutal or merciless attack on Haruna... that shows Sanju did not want to hurt or let Haruna fall into the darkness," Izana added, Jaemin was listening to her.

His gaze averted at the laboratory, closing his eyes. Karuna nodded as he was listening to them, it was understandable--he can't stop Sanju after he became a Raksha with his friends and not only that; he was an alleged fugitive by the government because of Maha's scheme to spread the fear and the guilt about him. Knowing them and Haruna, it was easy to find out about their feelings they hid it away for so long. "So Haruna was stubborn? Where did his anger come from? Was there something that made him feel such an agony? Did he made a sacrifice that cannot simply be fixed?" the Superintendent asked, Juha answered without any hesitation. "We don't know about that.. yet."

"Tsk, get Haruna Sinuraya out. He should stop being hard for himself," his serious response made Izana felt uncomfortable as she looked away, knowing Jaemin can be assertive by calling him like that without feeling afraid. While both young men obeyed and returned back to their work. The silence returned once again, the tension was high until Jaemin interrupted it. "Judging from his attitude, he never leave that lab unless it's his will to join," he theorized, which Karuna nodded as if he understood perfectly with him.

"Haruna, come out. It is important," the Superintendent ordered, which Haruna's tired voice can be heard. "Tell everyone, that I'll be staying here until the afternoon. I'm not in the mood to be a part of that... you name it," Haruna's tone was uninterested and felt dull, there was a deep sighing can be heard before Karuna interjected. "I know what you're doing, because you know the situation is critical and we don't have time for that. But, your task here is to stop the Phantom Beasts and save everyone--are you going to keep dwelling on the past or you're going to accept that it is inevitable and do the task given for the organization that took a responsibility to help those who lost everything to these Beasts? That's a real reason, we cannot afford to fail or making regrets of the choices that can't be changed," Karuna offered him, standing in front of the door with stern and steady expression.

After few moments later, Haruna came outside of the laboratory and closed the door slowly. This shocked Izana, Masaki, Juha and Damian to see he is only wearing a white shirt that is tousled, revealing his fair and muscular chest with black tracksuit pants. For Damian and Haruna, they knew that his voice didn't lie and that he will give him the answers on his own time. "Come on, get changed. The clothes and accessories you can take are inside the room, choose the uniform you like best," Karuna pushed his back when he told him, which Haruna hummed with a nod.

"Don't forget to take a shower. You don't look good," Damian warned him, crossing his arms. 'Says the guy who looks like shit for two months,' was Haruna's sarcastic thoughts when he was heading towards the personal shower near the center of the lobby before he went inside. All the clothing has black and white colors (he dislikes adding another colors to him) but this time... why is he imitating Sanju's black and white colored fashion? He never see it coming, but there's no turning back for him since his fate has change when he's here. Maybe all of his confusion on why does he looking him as a role model when he can be a man himself. 'I know I deserve this after all...' he sighed in his thoughts.

Perhaps, he wanted to stay in Nirvana after this... but his heart say that it doesn't agree with him, his guilt and sorrow to Sanju is unbearable that his focus wasn't in the right track but the wrong point of views instead. Karuna left him to have some personal times as Haruna decided what kind of uniform he will choose, luckily they've got a lot of designs and patterns on the uniforms to wear--because they have variety to choose from.

"Alright, what's our mission again? Anything involving Phantom Beasts must be within the parameters here... I just hope I haven't misunderstand it or I'd lost my focus while chasing this..."

Jaemin took out his black tablet from his shirt pocket, tapping onto the screen as he checked some of the information from a group's system--to see there are over 600 files sent with a high ranking access as he muttered. "The coordinates point here, but not far from Jakarta... based on it, they're near Indrayanti Beach in Yogyakarta."

Haruna decided not to think about Sanju's cruel remarks so that he won't burden the others and they can forget about it instead. He didn't want to take it personally because that doesn't matter to him, he has to adapt to the new surroundings and familiarized themselves with.

Meanwhile, Karuna entered his office and placed his daughter Vanya on the couch, seeing Jaemin stood in front of him and faced him. "Jaemin, where's our military car?" he asked, having Vanya's teddy bear to occupy herself with. "Tsk, that asshat--I mean Elden forgot it. I must search for the keys in his pockets again, did they make it really hard for me to focus on finding them? You can enter in the conference room, if I missed this out; I think a group of boys in our base might prank and ruined it..." he stated, confused. Karuna sighed at that, ruffling Vanya's hair which she pouted a little.

"Oh my God... really? Good thing we still had to keep a guard all around the city of Yogyakarta and... all of the cities in Indonesia. Tell the other branches around the world to send backups in case some Phantom Beasts were rampaging."

Jaemin nodded, saluting at him before he turned to leave. "By the way, your 'guest' is waiting for you," he added, Karuna nodded as he gestured him to not to be surprised with that guest of his. Just when Jaemin left, Karuna sighed before he heard another footsteps entered his office, making Vanya tilted her head at the stranger.

The tall young fellow has similar short scruffy black messy hair with long bangs almost covering his dark brown eyes and cheeks--he has porcelain complexion like Sanju and his father Radithya (the only difference is he was lighter). His attire consists of white and black coat with batik patterns of dark-purple, brown and white colors with gold highlights, along a white cape attached to its right side's shoulder, with underneath black pants and black boots. His attire was based from the nobility uniform in Adinata's history (17th and 19th century black surjan, Indonesia's traditional form of clothing), its material was not the ordinary fabrics due to how rare that kind of clothes are, rather it was made of silks. On his neck, he wore necklace with jeweled pendant with a small gem that contained the purified darkness, along the ring of his family.

Sanata Adinata; a mysterious young fellow who lived hundred years old as an Arbiter (a human who infused with genes of Vipralopa-class Phantom Beast) from the Old World, the progenitor of Adinata Family--he was standing in front of him with his usual cold, indifferent and bitter expression on his face. He is known for his cynical, violent, sarcastic and impassive behavior while been alone, but always respected by some of the people--even if he mocked them and their cultures in front of their faces. He was the strongest fighter in the Old World and became forever young because of the Vipralopa-class Phantom Beast gene flowing inside of him that granting immortality. One of the reasons that there was no exact information on him other than the description from Archaeological Security Assessment that sent ten years after the Incident (or it should be centuries ago), before what happened in the 'Unknown Timeline of the Void,' hence why people have little to no information about him.

"Karuna Maheswara Effendy."

Sanata addressed him by his authority and full name, Karuna raised his brow to see this man visiting him at this hour. He sounds... interesting. "I came here to find something I lost, what is that called? Artifacts in a human language," he stated when their eyes met, his cold voice was rather calm and deep.

Vanya stared at him, not knowing what the adults talking about, she tugged on her father's sleeve to get his attention. "Who's that, daddy?" Vanya asked, looking up at him. Her father smiled, gently pulled his daughter into his lap while soothing her hair before replying. "One of my guests, darling."

Sanata was staring at his palm, he could feel an icy chilling feeling running down at his spine--while in the Old World, it means death, and if it happened during his visit; the tragedy was about to come. "Before Phantom Eruption a year and a half ago, we must retrieved what's left in order to restore the whole artifact so that we could make a world filled with humans rather than being consumed in no time by Phantom Beasts."

Vanya read the notes in excitement, and Karuna chuckled because of his daughter's antics and smiling down at her. Sanata stared down at the palm, his dark hues revealed... sorrow in it. "Do you think..." he trailed off, remembering the war between the Interceptors and the Rakshas. He changed his mind, while he watched Karuna with confusion evident at his face. "This is hard to believe," Karuna muttered, that tone alone made him turned away his eyes. "Are you happen to be related to Sanjaya Adinata? Judging by your appearance and your surname… I suppose?"

Sanata--however, he wasn't startled, and soon he responded with his cynical tone. "Do I look like I care about my descendants?" he asked nonchalantly as if the issue doesn't matter, even though he's the forefather of Adinata Family--known as 'Father of the Adinatas'. He doesn't care about his own blood-related to him, while most of them doesn't share the same looks as him. Only few Adinatas that looked like him would be related to his DNA, but usually the outsiders assume him or his blood-related ones are twins despite being totally unrelated because they still remained the same look. That's how the Adinatas created their image to a long-living-human image (or in human term; vampire-like) in the end.

If there's anything he cherished the most, it has to be about the memories within.

When Karuna asked that question, he understood now where did Sanju and his father come from. However, Sanata couldn't care less about his own offspring and continued his path after the tragedy struck. Sanju was raised independently, but he knew nothing that comes with a consequence--because he taught himself too well, just like how Radithya has the same values, including the consequences.

"The sole reason is: I don't care," Sanata's comment made Karuna lifted his eyebrows at him. "So, why are you here? If you doesn't care about them," Karuna asked, tilting his head before frowning. He didn't feel afraid, unlike Jaemin's and Seong-hwa's reaction, he's only staring at Sanata's action on whether or not he was hostile--both of them looked liked each other. "I must get rid of all Phantom Beasts, even if it involved Rakshas as well. No matter, as long as they stayed out of my way. You're the leader of Nirvana Organization, don't you suppose to defend humankind like this?"

"We have our own way," Karuna replied with a bitter smile, narrowing his eyes. "Don't meddle with our affairs, if it means eliminating Phantom Beasts."

Sanata closed his eyes for a few moments, before his dark gaze gleamed at Karuna's blue gaze. He stand up and began to depart, his coat left several ruffling sounds in the room--cold winds blew from outside the windows, even the girl was unaffected by the harsh climate. His cape followed through, his voice reminded him of the man he knew who had a bitter, spiteful and cold personality. "What is he looking for?"

Vanya asked her father innocently, Karuna kissed his daughter's forehead before getting up with her in his arms, heading outside to get prepared. "Artifacts for the greater good," he stated.

Sanata take out his teleportation device that can take him into far continents outside Asia and no longer need expensive airplane like others, he knew that 'they' will start to search for him. On the other hand, the cold windy breeze caused him to raise his cape over his eyes, trying to prevent dust away from his vision. His lips pursed into a thin, stern line that could strike everyone's fear from his bold, brave and charming figure... before he activated the teleportation and headed towards Cairo.

Kirana was entering the area of Alexandria in Egypt with her father Rayhanda, examining the coastline and everything. This used to be the thriving center, but now everything went too fast and even her father cannot control the event. She placed her hand on her forehead, removing her beret--and was about to leave when she saw a silhouette sitting by the shore, facing towards the sea while her dark blue orbs spotted them playing with a jasmine petal on his hand. "Hm? Who's that?" she murmured curiously, squinting her teal-blue colored eyes at the mysterious person who has a dark raven messy hair and fair skin color, his eyes are dark brown--similar to Sanju's eye color.

"Why does he looks familiar? I've never seen him... I wonder..."

Kirana muttered under her breath, turning around to leave but his presence caught her attention as the man quickly get up--he has a silent, stern expression on his face. The man that Karuna saw earlier was walking ahead, her eyes widened in bewilderment when she noticed the man remained there.

But, she couldn't help but to know and be curious about him--something about him looked almost the same with Sanju. The only difference is that he was older than Sanju, despite his physique and face that similar to twenty-six years old. Seeing the man's clothing that almost close to his age before everything fell apart, Kirana was a bit concerned about him. "Excuse me, sir. Are you okay? You seemed lost," she asked, making the man turn around and saw Kirana approaching her way.

Kirana immediately put up her usual gentle smile and serene expression, she's good at hiding her feelings from others when it comes to strangers. Like a fine maiden hiding her secret to everyone around her. "I'm Kirana Tjahyadi... may I ask about who you are, sir?"

Kirana introduced herself, looking up at him due to his tall stature. Because of his broad, charming features and facial structure, and the way he stood are confident--it really remind her about Sanju. That guy would always bring it whenever he will make something to calm his friends, he was like the bright sun that always support them but nobody could see the real face behind his mask.

He stared at her for a moment before he did a bow of courtesy, surprising Kirana for a bit. "If you may excuse me, it's strange for a strangers asking for a name at first. But, I will answer that," he replied, before he folded his arms firmly. "My name is Sanata Adinata, and for who I look like in this meeting... it has been over a year, and I regret everything I've done, and it turned my life into misery."

Kirana watched the icy trails surrounding him, was that part of his power? No wonder he's untouchable and when she felt his hand's temperature is cold as ice, the realization dawned upon her. Then, when she saw him grabbing some kind of two orbs--what is that? Then, it revealed that it was a Core of Sound Asura; Mithra and Core of Moon Asura; Chandra. "Wait, are they...?" Kirana pointed out, which Sanata nodded solemnly at her statement.

"Yes, you're quite intelligent for an archaeologist--to an extent where you're always aware of its surroundings. After Phantom Eruption, the whole world have changed; the humans started to learn new things--your technology have improved a lot. While the Rakshas managed to escape from the trap, have you?" he mused, Kirana's reaction confirmed his theory and narrowed his eyes while shaking his head. "Kirana."

Rayhanda called his daughter, making Kirana turn around to see him standing there, her lips pursed into a thin frown and Rayhanda narrowed his eyes. 'He looks like Radithya and Sanjaya... this isn't good...' he thought, then he look back at his daughter. "What are you doing here? Is there anything wrong?" he asked before his attention was drawn on the core and the orbs on Sanata's hands.

"One of my cores? How come, I don't believe we met. Then again, before Phantom Eruption I've encountered someone who has the similar appearance with you and the same cores you're holding... until now," Rayhanda stated, his eyes widened to see the group of Interceptors suddenly appeared--the mechanical clock-like creatures surrounding the three of them. her as the clock-like creature appeared from behind her and released the sphere of light. Sanata narrowed his eyes at the alien-like mechanical clock creature, he froze the clock immediately as it crushed into pieces with his power. "Huh, so that's what you meant. Now I get it..." he muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Kirana, get away from here!" Rayhanda snapped, but she shake her head--knowing that her father misunderstood him. "Calm down, dad. He's not bad!"

And that was how they understood on why they are surrounded. All the Interceptors have these special abilities to locate the core and orb, if one of them have them, the creatures came and swarmed towards them and will kill them--destroying the core. "Both of you will die after meeting me, you know?" Sanata asked, snapping his fingers that the group of Interceptors froze in their places. "I have plenty of questions regarding your existence, Sanata Adinata... but, it has to wait for now," Rayhanda warned the man, who simply hummed in his agreement without saying a word. "Give us those Cores."

"Why should I?" Sanata refused, narrowing his eyes in disbelief. "You think I will just give these Cores to both of you? I want to destroy it--" his eyes widened when Kirana snatched the two orbs from him, but he resisted and Rayhanda had no choice but to restrain him. "Don't touch me," he shouted angrily and released an intense dark, ice spikes towards them. Both Rayhanda and Kirana jump away in time before looking up to see the sky turned dark and ice starting to freeze everything, and there's no choice but to run--or they will be killed. Just when he was about to freeze the surroundings, he saw one of the Interceptors popped out and leaping towards Kirana...

... only when her father protecting her from it.

Kirana was horrified as she tripped backwards to the ground, seeing her father slumped against her as he got stabbed by the clock-like creature and landed on top of his unconscious body. He saved his daughter from the Interceptors' attack, Sanata was stunned and saw the ice around him have unfrozen, he saw the two different orbs in Kirana's hands and glared at her in anger. "You... what are you doing, just now?" the man asked her sternly, looking at her in anger for a brief moment.

"Kirana, you have to go... now..." Rayhanda whispered, coughing up blood. "Dad, no! Don't do that! Please, stay with me... you're not going to die here! That thing is not a human... and someone like that will easily be defeated. We have to go, now!" she insisted, she tried to lift him up while she was about to stand--until she look up to see the Interceptor now in front of the two of them. The last thing happened was the creature stabbed both of them in speed, Kirana was stabbed in her abdomen and her father in his chest; his last words that echoed for her ears to hear, is that... she must live on.

"I love you."

Sanata narrowed his eyes at the alien-like mechanical clock creature, he froze the clock immediately as it crushed into pieces with his power. He look down at Kirana's 'lifeless' body on the ground and Rayhanda's bleeding state on top of her, he kneel to check on their pulses--finding that they were dead... according to him. "I don't have much time to be wasting..." he muttered, freezing all the ice on the area and the Interceptors with ease while trying to remember where did he saw them before.

He sensed that one of the Emperor-class Phantom Beasts; Krishna, appearing behind him and he didn't have time to turn around--he was going to freeze the elephant-like beast--as if the time has proceeds by a single glance; he saw the beast was already dead. What was going on? It was the end of the crisis and this mission was too fast, was it? Sanata turned around with a befuddled look on his face... after all, if it means that another tragedies are about to come his way.

Kirana was transforming into Sound Raksha; one who commands the music and sounds that resonate with the explosives and rhythm which is deconstructed. Her snow-white hair was pulled into traditional bun of Indonesia, her hair almost covering her eyes and fell between her face--her horns are on top of her head and red eyeshadow on her eyelids along the black sleeveless bodysuit, black choker harness under her collars. Her attire consists of black sleeveless long dress with the separate sleeves on her both arms, red-black collared piece-like choker around her neck almost covering her cleavage. With a long black, platinum gold sash that was around her neck falling on her arms to the ground, her black fingerless gloves under her long sash that's revealing her bare back-she dons her black Raksha mask along her eyes that are shimmering blue-yellow with a green hue and sharp black pupils.

Rayhanda transformed into Lunar Raksha; one who commands the moon and the lunar lights in the sky, he was the one who killed the beast. His snow-white hair pulled into half-ponytail with loose bangs that has dark turquoise and black streaks, he has a golden hairpin behind his head with red ribbons and golden beads--he gained a black horns on his upper forehead. His eyes were blue-yellow with a green hue with sharp black pupils and red paints on his eyelids, retaining his pale complexion. His attire consists of black sleeveless turtleneck bodysuit with black choker body harness underneath his black and white dress-like oriental shirt similar to a changshan with batik patterns, along a jade green-blue mixed coat with high collars and long sleeves--decorated with red threads and patterns along the black short pants and he wore a black long fingerless gloves with silk skin inner soles underneath the long sleeves. Along a two green toned sash behind his hip-and he dons his black Raksha's mask that similar to hers, his cape also has crescent-like patterns underneath.

Kirana rubbed her eyes as she stood up from the ground, she felt a lot more healthier than before and a lot of sounds almost makes her giddy a bit. "Did... something happened?" she asked, seeing that their wounds regenerated by itself and a lot more better. Her father adjusted his sleeves, unbothered by the transformations. "I guess it is strange, my daughter is a Raksha so am I... and to think a year and a half after we managed to escape the Tragedy... now I wanted to change," he said, looking down at her with a smile. Kirana was surprised, realizing that they transformed into a Raksha for the first time.

Sanata stood there, watching in silence before he sensed another Interceptors coming. "Sanata, could you cover your ears? I don't want anyone getting hurt," she told him, she has a soft side despite she's a Raksha or a deadly threat--Sanata showed his apathy and closed his eyes in response as a permission which he covered his ears. Rayhanda covered his ears as well, with his ability that keep himself protected from her offense.

Kirana was talented in singing, so her ability as Sound Raksha can replicating her song into threatening lyrics and specifically its disorientating loudness--affecting her enemies by crushing their ears and make them suffer by her song. With reading her opponents movements, she can deconstructing their moves into sound by analyzing the rhythm of their movements with her own rhythm.

The creatures screeched in pain as they clutched on their ears, while Sanata remained silent once he covered his ears.
