Chapter XXIV: Last Forever

Chapter XXIV: Last Forever

*ೃ༄

“Alright, where the hell is Haneul now?”

Althair grumbled when he look around the seashore when he and Karuna are exploring the beach, they had to search for Haneul because he’s the only person to have encountered Izana. After they decided to look for him, he suddenly disappeared without a trace and it was frustrating for them. “Calm down, will you? It’s not like he will leave because we detected his presence here,” Karuna reassured, resting his hand on his hip and looking around his surroundings. They were surrounded by the Phantom Beasts, soon they nodded at each other as they transformed into their respective Raksha forms.

The Flame Raksha snapped his fingers--the flames blasted the Phantom Beasts into ashes, manipulating the form of Ring of Fire and soon trapping the Phantom Beasts—tighten the gap with his claymore to burn them. He saw a huge dark blue serpent emerged from the ocean, before he stared at Karuna who will keep the serpent at bay. Karuna nodded at him, before he levitate into the mid-air and fled towards the serpent with his Brahmastra. "So, Maha betrayed you...?" he asked, watching the sea serpent growled that it losing control of itself because it was under mind-control by the Legion Rakshas who lead the Phantom Beasts.

One of the greatest traits of Karuna himself, who will make things become his favor if he use his power is his indomitable strength; he's capable of time manipulation if his power reached the high point. The serpent screeched as he struck the trident to pin the serpent down, a mind was stronger than a body; even a giant as a Leviathan will not stand a chance against him.

The serpent roared in agony, trying to struggled in pain when it screamed. Haneul screeched in pain within the serpent's mind, which he was dealing with the Mahesvara Raksha. Karuna intentionally suppressed his true power, because it was too powerful that he had to restrain and let the fight unfold. Which is why he didn't like his ability so much, due to how dangerous it is."Just... don't want people get panic, in the worst case scenario they might just panic."

He turned to face the serpent, but the serpent still managed to got away. "Tsk, how troublesome," he murmured, he use the 'imaginary space travel' by creating a void to jump in.

He knew that Haneul is currently under the Legion Raksha's mind control that was making his mind is blinded by the desire of vengeance, he saw the illusion of dark skies and blazing black fire. Karuna appeared in front of the serpent, before he created a space-like orb from his Brahmastra's trident blade tip and threw it straight to the serpent's way.

The space shattered, releasing an antimatter waves and hurricanes. "Oopsie, that's a bit too strong," he uttered and seeing the sea serpent didn't appear to come back in front of him. Instead, the serpent launched towards him after getting injured, and Karuna evaded the attacks in mere seconds. His attack ranged far distance while the serpent strike with its claw, launching the strong blasts--twisted around to attack him.

The serpent tried to swallow him and launch a fire breath, dodging the hit and he was taken aback to see Haneul emerged in a serpent form. "Don't make me activate the ultimate power--my cosmic dimension," he muttered, clenching his trident closer and saw Haneul opened his maws--he aimed his trident towards him and slammed it on his 'mouth' and threw him down the ground.

A flash and the serpent was separated into pieces, now Haneul was free from the Legion Raksha's control... but it regenerates again. "Oh great, now what?..."

Before the Legion Raksha could regain control of him again, suddenly the ground shook and everyone could see a gigantic beast with serpent as the body. The beast was wearing a human-like face on the top of its head-between two long silver horns. It was a Vipralopa-class Phantom Beast; Padishah, it made him narrowed his eyes. "Althair, need your help here!" he called out.

"Wait, what--"

Althair couldn't believe the abomination of 'human-like' mask combined with a body of serpents, which he didn't expect it would be a Vipralopa-class Phantom Beast of its own league. When he flew with his flames and rose his Brahmastra for a fire blast, until the Padishah waved his arm. "Let me handle this, go handle the serpent on your side," he instructed before the Flame Raksha nodded and floated below to avoid being pulled by the gravity waves, so he's able to escape.

Using the ring of fire, Althair created a big one and the serpent was trapped while trying to free itself from the enclosing circle. The flames has properties of light that allows them to be transferred towards the serpent, pushing it backwards as his flames blazed away and created a pillar of fire.

"Okay, I think it's about to get painful.”

The serpent let out a shrieking cry before he swung his claymore--seizing the 'handles' of it and he just gripped it tight, with the flames unleashed and engulfed the sea serpent. "BAM!" the flames shattered into fragments, one of the strongest element that could cause instant death within its existence; but he intentionally use the flames to burn the scales in order to tear down the armored scales of the serpent.

Althair raised his arms, taking a defensive stance before swinging his arm up the air--until a hurricane of blazing infernal flames burst from his surrounding when he was making a seismic quake of the flames by using the energy and his willpower. He use the tip of his claymore to touch the ocean, increasing the temperature of the water into a boiling heat for steam and evaporated, without draining his stamina and speed when his offense and defense at the same time. The serpent roared in pain and he kept creating cyclones of fire--slipped away before he slam his blade to shatter the dragon into pieces.

Although it would take time, once the scaled skin and flesh were removed--hitting the nerve points to disable its movements while he make the damage bigger. The Padishah also screeching in pain due to Karuna's interference--slipped his trident towards his forehead, causing a crater size destruction on the forehead.

Karuna didn't budge an inch--he kept floating on his spot and snapped his fingers, conjuring a supernova into a void (using the imaginary dimensional space that can release a new world and existence through and using his mind as a tool to conjure the orb into existence). Once the supernova is released, it hurled and exploded towards Padishah, causing a 'counter' explosion of the space as the pressure is dangerous that could make it difficult for the Rakshas to withstand.

"By the way, what if the battlefield began in Parangtritis Beach?"

Althair asked his rival-friend, landing on the ground while the serpent was laid down motionless on the seashore--standing beside Karuna who still in his Mahesvara Raksha form. "Are you insane? You might awaken the Ruler of the Southern Sea, and she might not hesitate to kill us all," he sighed, causing him to laugh nervously. "Uh… yeah, that explains."

"No, but seriously... what the hell's with the Legion Raksha," Althair uttered, before he created fire on the palm of his hand to warm his freezing body--because THE TEMPERATURE IN THIS BEACH IS SO DAMN HIGH.

An eerie silence coming from the Padishah, he narrowed his eyes and observed it--until the flames has turned into ashes. "Good thing we're not in Parangtritis Beach, and I swear--if I saw you wearing green clothes I will not think twice and push you into the sea.”

"I don't like green... really."

Althair walked closer towards the Padishah, with his blade and watching it being crushed into pieces; using a huge firestorm after Karuna created a giant water cluster in the air. Now Haneul is safe in his grasp--fainted and unconscious, tired from his mind control. “Alright, Haneul… just stop resisting,” he stated, still in his Flame Raksha form with his hand holding his claymore. “Tell us, where is Izana? We cannot find her and not even single trace of her detected around the city of Yogyakarta. You’re the only lead that we have, so how did you lose control like that?”

“I’m sorry, turns out it didn’t work because Maha find out all of my plans…”

Haneul explained in restrained voice, which made them shocked due to his revelation. "The allies he befriended... he killed them all, he's not showing any mercy to those who tried to intervene with his plan. Orther, that two-faced son of a bitch... he really manipulated almost all of us... even Maha himself got provoked by him..." the serpent roared painfully, feeling the restraints that Maha unleashed upon him and the Water Asura also damaged him severely for trying to challenge him. “Damn you, Maha! If I hadn't provoked that Water Asura because of what you're saying, I wouldn't have losing myself already!"

Karuna stared at him, before he turned to Althair who was shocked by the fact that spilled from him. “Don’t… please don’t… Maha, you bastard! Don’t hurt her! Please don’t let her die!” the serpent screeched out loud as it began to attack once again, which led to their defenses.

As the serpent made another ambush with the blast, they deflected the blast—with their Brahmastra as a shield along their respective powers. “So, Maha brainwashed all of you…” Karuna murmured. The serpent nodded, trying to keep himself from attacking them. “Yes… argh...!” the spell seemed to have prevented him to say the truth, not only that—it tortured him more than being ordered what to do. The serpent roared, before it began to attack them. “Please kill me… I can no longer returning back to my form… I already trade my soul to him... but it seems like he find out what I did so... it was too late for me to be saved."

“Haneul…” Althair whispered, while Karuna frowned at him and his current state that he was terribly injured. “Why…?”

The Elite Commander knew that he doesn’t have much time left, he knew Maha has his upper hand to him. But, he wanted to end this suffering--even if it cost his loyalty and decided to betray his ally instead. “Maha, please spare them, if you really wish to take revenge against me... please...” he begged, making the twins look at each other with shock.

“I’m begging you, please spare them--”

Karuna narrowed his eyes, clenching his fists a little. He watched serpent stopped breathing for a moment, his face twisted with pain as he tried to endure the restraints that bound him tightly. “Please kill me, I don’t want anything bad happened to you… I’m doing this so I can atone my sins… and to prevent another mistakes… it’s all I can do… and I want to see my late-mother of the Old World…”

“But, will you tell us what does the Old World looks like?”

Karuna asked, making Haneul surprised before he continued. “In return, we’ll fulfill your wish so we’ll remember your legacy, and we’ll give you a proper final rest and you will return to your place,” the serpent listened to them, making the creature close his eyes with a slight nod towardss them. “As your wish…”

Haneul revealed everything to them about the Old World, which made all of them shocked from his revelation. From the beginning until the end, they didn’t expect it went like that.

“Farewell…”

"Sanjaya, be careful there!"

Haruna shouted, since he will be dealing with the Scarlet Armband Army and Orther with the rest of his friends in his team. Sanju nodded, before he turn around and stepping into the aircraft. "Yeah, take care!" he reminded, still retaining his stern tone like a class monitor he used to. They waved at each other while leaving the Nirvana Organization headquarters, before heading to the destination to confront Maha. "Alright, time to go," he ordered, before Damian sighed. "Are you the leader now? Because we never seen you like that before," he teased, making him huffed as he glanced at his friends. "Oh come on, I just want to act cool for once!"

Izana snickered, before she glanced at Nadine who giggled at his reaction. Marthen simply shrugged while looking at the aircraft, Juha was exercising a little and Masaki adjusting his bow. "Okay, I get it. Now let's go, we better not waste time," Damian replied, why is he the 'leader' now? Oh well, at least they improved their friendship and starting to used to Haruna's leadership--while Sanju leading his own team to defeat Maha.

The time has come, where they faced Maha when they entered the aircraft and went above the clouds with the sun shining behind them. Sanju took a deep breath, standing on the outer platform of the spaceship as he could feel the morning breeze--being close to the sun and sky. He watched the view of the clouds across him, before he heard one of his friends yelled. "Hey, stop acting cool over there! I can see your feet are shaking out of nervousness!"

Akito shouted, causing Sanju shrieked a little before his feet are trembling due to being on top of the aircraft. He can see the birds circling together, bringing warmth on this spring morning; this is the cycle of the seasons that brings them together, along the warmth of the sun and the atmosphere of home. "Goddamnit, Akito..." he grumbled, while Renata covered her mouth and hide her laughter. Raiden was avoiding to get caught by Akito, because he will make fun of him for sure. "Are you sure you aren't intimidated by Maha?"

Sanju scowled, rolling his eyes. 'Just in case something bad going to happen,' he thought while observing the view, folding his arms as he watched Raiden still in his spot--preparing his katana on his hand along Kanae across him. "I can't believe we had to face-to-face above the clouds, whose idea is that?" Senja grumbled, folding his arms as he felt the wind blowing his hair. "Hah... it's so windy here, I can't believe we woke up so early at six..." Karina yawned, folding her arms.

Raiden shrugged, answering the question that was asked. ‘Let's just try to talk to him to test the waters…’ he thought, while Haruse came inside the platform with Salihin and his leader Althair were behind him.

"If you dare to bring Izana with you for your plan, you will suffer the consequences... we're taking the matter serious. Don't you ever dare and disrespect the person she is, we're not going to let you use her like a tool."

"That's the line you're gonna use towards Maha? Let me do the talking," Renata said, looking serious yet confident. "We're here to make Maha surrender or give us the Core of Asura that he already created. According to you, that will lead to the apocalyptic era... and those who are interested will try to get it like you did, we've got all the preparations we need."

"Maha is gonna be freakish if we explained everything, knowing about Kalina Adinata," Radithya stated, knowing that Maha would go berserk but Akito wanted to see his rage. "Wait, maybe--" Yukito hold him down, stopping him from doing anything. "Are you out of your mind? NO."

Kinana yawned, sitting on the platform while looking up at the sky. "I need... a FIVE hours of sleep."

Icha whined, crossing her legs together while closing her eyes. While she was leaning back on her seat as she began to play a game while resting her legs on the control panel, accidentally spilled her gum at a button. It launched the missile outside, before she realized it and opened her eyes widely. Her reaction was hilarious.

Inside the spaceship--there are windows on the spaceship along some screens showed the view. Maha was there, his long hair with uneven long bangs remained platinum blonde was pulled into mid-ponytail--tied with black ribbon and his teal-blue eyes remained the same along his complexion. He wears a a formal uniform consists of black necktie formal shirt under his white blazer, a red banner on his shoulder and a pair of black fingerless gloves. Along his black long coat and white pants, a silvery red tie, and a set of boots that covers his pants (it's actually hidden). His youthful face still unchanged, handsome and charismatic--nothing has changed since his love one has passed away, the only difference is his stoic expression.

He was holding his glass of red wine before he drink it, and a letter next to his seat. In his thoughts, about his past and he can hear the voices in his head kept growing stronger--it reminds him about what happened in the past.

'The great and mighty hero, returned and bringing chaos again,' the voice hissed inside his head before letting out a maniac laughter. 'It's you, it's all your fault that everything are already ruined,' one person pointed out, reminding him of his greatest failures that continues to replay and his memory began to play on his head.

“Are you prepared for this?”

Orther asked with a serene expression, his closed eyes staring at him with a smile on his lips—his hands folded behind his back. “I know what I’m doing, Orther… I may not trust you--but I want you to do me a favor. You helped me, after I helped you with your experiments and my clones to stop them,” he answered, making the executive hummed while listening to his favor. He nodded, adjusting his spectacles before he turned his back on him. “I’ll be heading down, because I know the Nirvana Organization is still coming after me.”

Maha remained silent when he left, but Orther was smiling in vague--entering the security room which made the SAA soldiers grew uneasy with him.

Meanwhile…

Sanju was trying so hard to stand so brave on the platform of spaceship, a little nervous to face his biggest enemy. Renata was right about the details Maha has in his spaceship, but he forgot about the one detail; his intimidating aura and hidden weapon behind his coat--he sensed it from his back. "Do I have to wait for him to come out or I have to go there? This is taking a long time to be done with..." he murmured. Then, he look up to see Maha has come forward with his usual elegant smile on his lips.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Good day," Maha began, watching them look annoyed and disappointed in this situation.

Haruse gestured to Althair that he should say something, rather than him--Salihin nodded. Althair took a deep breath as he whispered to Sanju. "Do not mess this up, listen to me carefully so that we can save this situation. Just a wrong move, we will fail."

Sanju nodded, before he look up to face Maha as he took a deep breath. The blonde man raised an eyebrow, before he narrowed his eyes. "Oh, I didn't expect you to give up like this," he grinned, making Akito snarled in disgust. Everyone remains alert and ready for his next attacks; but he didn't attack because he was just standing there, with his calm expression. "You know my intention already, right? Don't make me repeat that sentence," he sighed, opening his arm widely.

"All I seek is, her existence in my life--ever since the accident that nearly cost her life. It is something I took very seriously, are you trying to snatch her away again? Especially after her trials that has already been fulfilled successfully...?" he warned, they knew he have intentions of what he really wanted. 'I don't care... because nothing can ever compensate what I've lost already...' he thought, he glared at him. "Am I wrong?"

There was a silence, before the Senapati Raksha broke them out. "Maha, you better stop what you're doing now. First, you caused a Phantom Eruption, two--you kidnapped and tried to brainwash Izana, and three... you're a disgrace to us," Sanju began, he had the urge to speak the truth while he can to get through his mind. He managed to refrain himself from screaming in rage and tried his best to prevent himself from trying to grab his collar for a confrontation.

It's all or nothing.

Sanju clenched his fists, before looking up at him--he had enough of his archenemy who has made him suffered from the past and present--which is why he is here now.

"You dragged the whole world into chaos, just to revive your deceased lover… 'KALINA ADINATA'!?"

It was effective, Maha slowly widened his eyes and stopped in shock from what he said—before gritting his teeth as his left eye twitched from the revelation. What the fuck, how did he know?! The latter thought. 'How... no, YOU...' his hands were trembling, before shaking his head with his palms still gripped the ends of his coat.

"So, we've been connected already... you know the truth about Kalina..."

Sanju pointed to him, a little happy and proud with his confident. "Sanata has told us everything, so..." he smiled, but his smile faded when he noticed something. Everyone quickly tried to dodge the incoming electricity that emitted his forcefield barrier and also send some high voltage electrocution wave to the platform, although they remained on their feet to avoid stumbling and falling.

It was Maha who casted the lightning which caused that, almost hit him, but Renata held down with her katana so the impact can split. He narrowed his eyes a little, giving a furious look that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. "You know NOTHING about it," he hissed through clenched teeth, the light of the bright orange and yellow glow illuminated his irises as he spoke.

The whole army has gathered for battle already, watching the confrontation between the anti-hero and villain continued on. The man who just wanted to bring back his beloved memories from the past, or at least one person he can keep. No matter what the consequences are, he won't ever let his intentions changed, for this is what he wanted and been his top priority for so long. “Why are you doing this, Maha?!” Raiden yelled, looking up at him.

"Kalina is my entire existence!"

Maha shouted in agony, unable to think about anyone but her and only her. Nothing can replace the deepest feelings that are so, SO in love with her. "You just say anything you want! You are nothing! All of you are nothing!"

A silent rage was evident in his face, as he spoke. He refused to back down, unable to escape the cruel reality of being alone and having an image tainted by past tragedies he experienced. "Both of us has promised that even in death... it won't ever let our bond broke and become an eternal love," he stated, before his cold voice now broken with despair. "... as I promised to her, I shall fulfill it!"

His shouts was filled with pain, his eyes doesn't show any tears--those were darkened and covered by his bangs.

"Kalina promised me that... and nothing shall break it. You have no place to stop me, Sanjaya Adinata, I have been waiting and enduring every single torture on my own. It's my soul-bound after all, she's still alive and so am I, despite the differences in blood-lineages--we promised each other that our love shall be eternal even in death," he affirmed as he placed his hand on his forehead, and his mind replayed those memories in the past when they were together. "No matter how many times I created your clones... none of them able to become like Kalina..."

Kalina was his world, everything to him as he could remember the memories they shared together.

"This is why... I tried everything to keep her happy and alive, I wasn't there when she is caught up in her family dispute and I never heard from her again... When she killed herself, her family made false accusation for her and slandered her good name in shame--and they said it was suicide," his voice gradually got more anger and he snapped his eyes up at Sanju, as if she died again and again.

Yukito, Akito, Kanae and Raiden gripped the platform, and the others had their hands ready to summon their weapons or attack. Sanju narrowed his eyes while Kinana, Senja and Karina were preparing their weapons as well, before he responded.

"Kalina's name is already cleared by our forefather... Sanata Adinata, he was the one who cleared her name when she passed away. She left her will, and her will contains ALL of her possessions--including family heirloom, all to him!"

Sanju tried not to curse, as he looked reluctant to keep negotiating but there is no choice because he needed to convince this man to open his eyes--he was blinded by the guilt that he want to save her. But, if he didn’t have the will to stop what he did… the latter left them no choice. Kirana watched from inside the aircraft with Icha, frowning a little. 'He... wanted to revive her...?' she thought.

To stop him.

Maha fell silent for a moment, before he laughed grimly and soon he look up at them with a smile. Amanda stared at him before looking back at him, assuming this is some kind of joke. “Maha, don’t tell me…”

They realized that something ringing inside their coats, when they figured it out—a device attached on inside the coat. Maha’s smile becoming a smirk when he set them up for this the whole time, that he pressed the button on his other hand behind his back. That alone made the entire airship exploded and both of them exploded as well, didn’t know that he did it without mercy to them. “I’ll leave the rest for you, Sanjaya Adinata."

Orther whispered, before he pressed the button before his escape. The smoke has overwhelming them, distracting them from what they were actually plotting this time. Haruna watched Orther's figure from the sky while leaping off from the spaceship, before he yelled at them.

“Everyone, let’s do this!”

All of them transformed into their Raksha forms, they will transform into their Exalted Raksha form except for Karuna and Althair. They weren’t aware on how powerful and terrific his form when he became Exalted, so they decided not to know about that for now. “Let’s split up!” they nodded before they split up for their tasks, not wanting to get distracted by many things.

“Come on, let’s plant this.”

Karuna stepped forward as he stood in the middle of the park while carrying the seeds, with the Nirvana Organization members in here. That’s when he planted the seed through the soil of the fountain, at the highest balcony of the porch in the forest garden; they’re aware of Maha and his Legion that the nation worked together with other nations to capture them.

The tree grow instantly before they’re jumping back from the rooftop with an instant reflexes, floating in the air that the white tree with colorful lights topping over the building and soon making the skies darker than before. This made the portals of Phantom Beasts opened at the same time, eventually drawing attentions from the Legion that Maha leads. Karuna nodded at him, he watched them arrived even Maha here, the Rakshas are stand-by in their spots awaiting for their opponents.

Sanju was searching the criminals of where they’re separated earlier, together with four of them accompanying him and he would let him fight Maha by himself if he wanted. Kanae, Akito and Yukito arrived at the battlegrounds--facing Amon, Rizal and Yukariko who are unleashing their Danava Raksha forms. Senja, Karina and Kinana are dealing with the Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts that Maha released upon them. “There you are,” Yukariko greeted them with a smile, preparing her weapon on her hand as she used strings to create marionettes so she can control them whenever she desired. “Who will be part of my collections?” she asked, creating a manifestation of marionettes from the victims she just killed in the past.

Akito grimaced at her ‘collections’ and ‘creations’ that she created, before he smirked as he replied. “I’ll fight against her, you two can take the rest,” he hissed when Yukito elbowed his side even Kanae yawned. “Why do you always take the chance when it girls involved, huh?” he ranted, adjusting his Brahmastra on his hand.

No wonder… you two are the same…

“Oh come on, at least just for once!” Akito whined, glaring at him. “You’re starting to be just like me…” Yukito grumbled, before he smirked as he adjusted his Brahmastra on his hand. “Alright, don’t die on me!” he added, the last thing he needed is dying and he refuse to die. “I’ll take this food eater here, Kanae… you take the one with somewhat confusing personality.”

“Fine.”

Sanju noticed his presence’s incoming before he shielded his attack of his fist, both of them stepped back and scowled at him. “Hah… haha, looks like this is where our battle began,” Maha spoke when he unleashed his claymore from his cube on his hand, he wasn’t injured but he ended up drenched in water from the fountain that he stranded earlier.

“We’ll see about that.”

Sanju clenched the grip of his weapon, he wasn’t going to let him take over his final plan that easily and he must unleash his full power—when there’s something off going on with him. “Maha…” he was prepared to transform into his Yin Garuda Raksha, he will transform into Yang Garuda Raksha in case Maha was buffed. “Sanjaya Adinata, show me your strength!”

Maha declared, making him gritted his teeth and clenched the grip of his gear on his hands.

Haruna and Damian faced Orther who was sending Maha’s clones and SAA soldiers into the city with the Phantom Beasts, seeing that he was enjoying to see the sight of genocide in front of him. “I’ll deal with his clones with Masaki, you go deal with him, okay?” Haruna nodded, allowing Demian to leave and he began to face Orther who’s standing in front of him. “Well well well, looks like we got a new visitor,” he said with a smile on his lips, before he opened his eyes menacingly throughout his calm posture—he was intimidating enough to scare his opponents except the Rakshas. “Obey my command, begin to attack him.”

Orther commanded, sending his henchmen towards him and Haruna grunted while slashing the clones with his Brahmastra, before he slammed the large glaive blade upon the soldiers from SAA in front of him. He was about to chase towards Orther until he slain his weapon at him, until Orther use his hand to hold his blade and his eyes opened while smiling. “Let’s see who’s stronger, hm?”

Raiden launched forward when he noticed Kain getting off from the ocean, landed on the seashore and hitting his hard forehead onto him. “Argh!” Kain groaned in pain, holding his forehead when he stepped back a little. “Ah, Thunder Raksha…” he look up at him, laughing that he was satisfied to see him. Even after his mother Makoto has died, he loved to kill him and his father Ryoma next. “Oh my, you came here to kill me again… right?”

Kain heard him huffed when he pointed his katana, scowling darkly at him that he refused wasting his time to let him live. “I’m serious this time, and you better not messing around with me.”

Raiden stated, before both of them goes to fight once the battle has began at the beach above the oceans. Kain was floating in front of him which he gave off the most dark and intimidating form of himself, that he was chuckling darkly at him. “We’re getting started, Vritrahan!”

The ultimate form of Vritra has awakened from within him--causing Raiden to step back and horrified by the sight of that, making him wide-eyed at the sight of Kain becoming a gigantic serpent at the seas.

“What on earth…”

The ocean has becoming drought by his enveloping Resonance and the power, true to its power and the name-the Asura created dryness of the land and seas. That was the “actual” ultimate form of Vritra. That was the Pseudo-Vritra that he took form as, he didn’t expect him to be this the whole time. “What the bullshit is this…?” he mumbled, then he snapped out of it and decided to summon his dragon companion; Kurikaramaru or Kurikara—taking out his medallion and tossed the up.

“Kurikara!”

The dragon appeared and flies upwards and goes down to let him on his back, roaring out loud that the dragon almost had the same size of the serpent. “Thankfully Juhaku isn’t here, otherwise he couldn’t produce ice well,” Raiden huffed after he said it, summoning his Brahmastra on his hand as he shouted.

“Kain! Now’s the time for you to die!”

***

Sanju was preoccupied with their fight that he has been handling by himself, considering that Maha was stronger but annoying to defeat. However, both of them are ended in a tie in the middle of the battle. That they ended up fighting in the upper top of the bridge of construction site, near the river that passing through the other lands. Maha laughed when he stand up in front of him, almost towering over him. “Sanjaya, you have reached my expectations, you are far stronger than when you are a human!”

Maha declared with a playful and boisterous laugh that seems subtle for him, what is he talking about? Sanju do pay no mind for that. Both of them are on the twin towers of the bridge, along the lighting storms of the dark skies above them. “What are you implying about, Maha?” he asked, sounded cold and determined that he refuse to hear that.

“From the death of your beloved mentor, friends, and your grandparents' betrayal to your own family... until your awakening as a Raksha. One that become the potential role of stopping me. And that is the final part of the plan, so none of you able to stop me.”

Sanju heard him as he gripped his claymore when he stared at him with his scarlet-gold wings flapping a bit, keeping him balanced from the fall since they’re on top of the bridges and he asked him. "And why are you doing all of this? All you're doing just... just bring more suffering, we had to revive the entire humanity! Do you know how much damage they have caused?"

"That because I have my reasons, Sanju. I know my whole goal in all of this is already fulfilled since when I use the Core of Asura; the key elements found in the core of this tree, and yes... this whole place is considered a 'Tree of Universe'. Almost 90% of it exists within the dimensions of this universe or realms," Maha began while he summon another attack.

However, Sanju rushed at him and used his wings to block his attack. Sanju watched Maha spread his arms like an eagle with his back facing him, as if glorifying the images before his eyes while smiling. "Now when the disaster like this has come… what will the government do? Will the enforcers and military soldiers save the civilians from this? Laws are supposed to be enforced well, only paid with everything like what they did," Maha turn around slowly to face him, with the rumbling thunderstorms could be heard above them as he asked.

"You'll see what I see, right?" he asked, watching the young Raksha remained silent before he lifting up his chin to face him.

"You'll see what I see, right?" he asked, watching the young Raksha remained silent before he lifting up his chin to face him.

"……"

"I do, but not on the same view with you."

"……"

"Excuse me?"

Maha lifted his eyebrows when he lowered his arms, tilting his head when he went up a little. He isn't expecting him to answer something like that. He clasped his hand slowly, and then Sanju explained. "Maybe, just maybe, you could have found a better way to deal with it," he began, but he refused to accept the humiliation he faced from the people who degraded his belief and his hard work.

"You might have failed her, but… you are so stubborn to hold on," the young Raksha advised, knowing that life should never end in this way and who could think otherwise but he will not let him fall, because he isn't going to break down mentally. "Say, did you and Kalina confess your feelings? If you do, I wish her well... what is she feeling to you, or vice versa?" Sanju questioned, which resulted in a snort and a disapproving eye-roll from Maha.

It was then, an explosion caused by the Phantom Beasts and the huge battle of Haruna and Oswald made up the remaining half of the bridge crumbling into pieces--followed by Maha who responded.

"Watch out!" before the explosion hurled him.

Sanju also fell from the platform before he raised his hand, trying to reach for his weapon on time. "Brahmastra, return!" Sanju raised his arms and floated on the sky, just in time for his weapon was pulled to his hand and the weapon floats in the air--before he landed on the weapon. "We're not a judge to them, because we don't have the right because we're not that, but your actions… it brings impact for them," he remarked when he's stepping up to face him and almost near him, he almost flinched when he did that and he kept his cool.

Sanju watched Maha's expression contorted into slight worry when he heard that, it confuses him but soon he remembered the last page. "……" he couldn't help but to laugh, before he folded his arms and faced him back to him. “Let her have her point of view about me, I didn’t hate her at all,” Maha sighed when he goes back into fight him, once again since they were interrupted earlier. “Sanjaya Adinata, the torch that lights the darkness! Show me what you got!”

Maha’s eyes widened a little when he dashed at him in speed and bashed him, using his sword from the claymore into swinging his throat. Sanju switched into a spear that he attempted to evade his attack, until he was stabbed by the spear on the stomach and then he switched again--the weapon was a chain-blade and wrapped him around the chains before swung him upwards.

Maha was tossed forward to the other side of the twin tower bridge, seeing that he was crashed before tossing him to the tree and his gaze was darkened. “Hah… hah…” Sanju couldn’t believe he made him like this and less satisfied, he was mixed with wrath and anguish after what he has done to them. “Hah… hahahaha…”

Sanju stopped approaching him by floating in the air with flapping his wings, knitted his eyebrows together once he saw him levitate in the air before him. “You’re still alive?” he asked, unbothered that he was starting to be cautious. “ Of course, this time… you’ll see my final form for the first time, and… things are just getting started, Garuda Raksha,” he let his prism cube vanished by his hand, before he floats above as he seems to be becoming something more than humane.

Raiden watched the shining lights from the distance that shocked him, Yujin didn’t seems to be phased of that transformation. “I can’t gain more strength since our strings of Resonance Energy was cut off because of him… this isn’t good…” he thought that he cursed to himself, and he couldn’t sensed Amanda’s Resonance as well that she was preoccupied with the others. Raiden didn’t want to waste his time, he need Sanju to be safe and alright because of that. “It doesn’t affect us—come on! Let’s continue this!”

Maha charged a thousands of golden spears at him without looking, causing him to quickly evade themselves from that. The attack speed was fast and so agile at the same time, even they don’t have time to analyze his movements and timings of his attacks. Sanju yelped when he felt the plunge of the spear hitting through his shoulder and it made a deep wound, causing him to be reminded of Izana’s incident and one hit on his stomach that coughed a blood from his throat. “Urgh…!”

Maha laughed as he was powerful enough to take them down, before he went on Sanju first and using one of his thousand hands to bash him against the tower of the bridge. “How do you feel about this, Sanjaya Adinata?” Maha asked with a loud-sounding tone that sounds like he’s commanding him, he was holding back his ultimatum because he need to wait for the time to come. “Shut up…” he was pushed back to the ground into the distance, before he began to create another blast towards the buildings and the bridges around him.

“Sanju!”

Amanda screamed out loud when she felt the poisons are wrapped around her, thanks to Akito when he used his ultimatum. “Masaki!” Masaki take a deep breath when he unleashed his ultimate power of Harvest Spectramancy from the Creation of Prithiva, the six arrows are appearing on top of his head and his sides, while he pulled three arrows on his fingers by the string.

Masaki’s eyes are fierce that his expression shifted with determination, hope in his eyes that he will stop her and will do it. “Thousand Arrows of Autumnal Equinox, Dawn until Sunrise, Arise!” Akito watched the arrows are blasted towards her, when he did he goes to perform his ultimate attack as well. “Dance like a Butterfly Wings, Stinging Venoms of Queen Hornet, Inject the Enemies to Death!” he plunged the rod of his katana several times into her body and her limbs, before stepping back as she revealed her heart exposed to them.

“No! No!”

Amanda tries to regenerate again, but the arrows keep blasting at her which enabled her from doing so. “Never in my life was going to let you die in vain, eat this you foolish brats!” both of them nodded at each other, before they performed their combining attacks as the final shot. “Not a chance."

Finally they are able to blast the combined blast down upon the half-human mutant tree, she watched the blast has engulfing her that her eyes widened--meeting her fateful demise.

But, they're not done yet.
