Kirana was brought here as well, after her father Rayhanda got called by Karuna to talk about something. Honestly, she was worried about him. But, she decided to hear from both sides to make things right. "Haruna," she greeted, making Haruna shrieked to see Kirana's arrival. The others took few distances, taking a break. "What the...?"
The Sound Raksha giggled, ignoring his surprised reaction and walked towards him. "How long it's been since we've talked?"
Haruna turned to Kirana, he stared at her that she was walking ahead--stopping by a foot away while her hands tucked behind her back. He remembered that Kirana is only the person who can brightened him after his miserable days, along with others; but knowing that she always close to him--perhaps nothing really changed. Even in his days as a Raksha, she understood his feelings. Kirana's aura, beauty and kindness were somewhat the same in his perspectives. "Sorry... it's just... when I saw what's going on, this just happened--"
"You can tell me what's on your mind, before I know what was really going on."
She responded calmly, she doesn't really care if he has a tendency to be a bad boy... or a delinquent. Besides, that's his opinion and Haruna should be given space to vent out. One of her personality traits is 'empathetic', she's also willing to learn things from others--while she's being considerate. In other word, she would even bring the others to consider things for a few minutes to see. Haruna immediately have second thoughts, noticing that this isn't the first time something happened when she's angry.
"Kirana, didn't I told you to let me handle this on my own?" Haruna said, the teenage girl titled her head and look over her shoulder--still have her caring nature. "Then, why did you involve Damian into this?"
That was her chance to change the subject and see if Haruna's acting out. The black-haired man was taken a back by her response, his cheeks flushed. "Don't tell me you're serious about finding a..." she paused, she don't want to say something nasty as her politeness in the matter. So, she calmed herself down and started to reason with him. Her smile slowly returned, while Haruna calmed down and took a deep breath. "If you want to love the right way, might as well you can face it," she placed her right hand on his cheek as she gently and caressing it. "Although, people tend to give a harsh opinions and you are aware of them. But not for long... you do have a choice to change and take my advice."
Haruna look up and finally sighed, feeling relieved after venting his anger onto others. He definitely won't do the same mistake, not on her watch. "Look, I'm just pissed with Sanjaya. He... I still don't understand this. Why? I don't get it," Haruna muttered, Kirana pressed her palm on her chest to look at him right in the eye. "Have you not considered a situation before, Haruna? We don't know what has the person went through, and we can understand everything once you see past the others. After all, we were humans... we didn't get it at first. So, everyone went their separate way."
Haruna bit his lower lip and scratched his head, unable to hold back his emotion. "I thought you have forgotten that Sanju used to be experimented by Maha?" she asked with a frown, how could he forget about that. This made Haruna went silent, Kirana was observing his reactions and he lowered his head. Well, better late than never and Haruna just think about going to apologize again later... maybe.
The man looked around, hoping no one would saw him being so vulnerable. His teeth clenched as he was thinking how shitty he made an argument to others and Sanju as well, no one wants to do those kind of things. Then, Kirana sighed as she spoke. "Sorry, I shouldn't have asked that to you... you seemed to become more cold and distance. More like, I used to know you having second thoughts," she had a worry look on her eyes. "It doesn't felt right to see you became like this, right? Because whenever you don't agree and accepted the fact, you will going through a worse situation."
She just said that she was worried about him, like remembering the last time he hanged up the call that he would think twice before doing that and making a decision to prevent from telling. "Kirana, I'm not mad about that... I'm mad at Sanju because... I joined the Scarlet Armband Army, for Maha. He... offered me a hope, so we can change the world... together."
Kirana was petrified, before she clenched her fists--she was afraid that he won't going to end up fine, especially his perspective towards the Phantom Beasts. Her left hand grabbed her right arm to stay calm, she looked at him and frowned. Did Maha brainwashed him or something? Then, she saw Sanju stood there with his friends of his team--petrified by his revelation and listened to his confession. A look of realization went through the rest of the present after listening to his words, except Juha and Masaki were silently watching.
"Sanjaya's suffering began from that day, even when he got experimented and find out that there are several clones of him in Maha's lab. He was having an existential crisis, and... I was surprised too when I got experimented by Maha as well. But, his treatment towards me is very different compared to him, knowing my great potential as a Raksha. However, I found out that I got this weird headache when I recalled Sanju. I could clearly remember... the pain and madness, and hearing him screaming as I was forced to kept him like this."
Haruna admitted the truth, and all of them were stunned at the revelation. "In that case, I can't deny it or something. The reason... Sanju has been trying to avoid and suppressed his emotions... until they build up inside. And eventually, the pressure is just making him not coping up well and slowly loses control--possibly snapping him out," he added, adding more reasons. "So, I ended up here making amends... even so, I could see past these... and his actions."
Damien glared at Haruna, why is he doing this? If he wants to save the world, then why the hell he working for their enemy. "Haruna, I had lost you when you learned that they've experimented you... don't you know how I have been feeling? Even I rejected my old self, because I can't just rely on my others' judgment because I've been betrayed. So, I became an infamous criminal and the organization will surely need an intervention...I'm sick of seeing peoples suffers!"
Sanju finally snap, a tear flowed down his cheek as he screamed. "You think it would be any different...?" he scowled, this is his real anger outburst as Akito and Kanae had to pull him away by his shoulders. 'Please, stop this... I can't endure this anymore...' he thought sadly, pleading inside. "Who am I? What do I really wanted to do? What should I do, now...? Am I the person that you know all this time, am I...?" he asked, after reaching his breaking point.
"Maha has a message for you."
Haruna stated, holding out the orb that allows Maha to speak from there--despite in the different place. This made his allies glared at that sight, but Sanju didn't turn around.
"Greetings, it's been a while, isn't it? How long has it been?"
This son of a bitch, Kanae always been looking out for a chance to make the encounter in front of him to end--wanting to stab him with a knife. But, everyone restrained and knowing that she can't do a frontal assault after hearing something they don't even know, this made Haruna smiled devilishly.
"Your friend is starting to get suspicious over my offer. After all, I would like to ask something from him before deciding that his life spared... but I hope you give me a hand for our sake," he requested, Haruna raised his brows. The very least, he knows that Haruna is always the wild card and not to be underestimated because he could harm anyone he saw--an enemy. "I encountered him after his transformation as a Celestial Raksha, it appears like he still doubting us," Haruna tilted his head as he was confused, not knowing why Maha just called to him.
Akito stood beside Sanju and pat his shoulder, making a silent gesture. "Don't bother listening to that dick head's dialogue, alright, Sanju?" he nodded, keeping his patience although Akito wanted to beat the ever loving shit out of him.
"Now, now... why won't we give Sanjaya Adinata a chance to hear my message," Maha insisted with a chuckle.
Maha was the cause of this mess, he caused crimes and betrayals that made every friendship-filled bonds tainted and created destruction. All the civilians including the government, even to some teams had their own emotions build into anger that they can't take it anymore. "Much to my surprise, Haruna seems took a liking in joining my side--all because of you. For this, you have been creating unneeded disturbance and becoming the reason of my anger. Your actions would even lead everyone to get what they want. Soon, you would realise that you will never be the same person again."
A distorted laughter coming from the orb, enough is enough. He couldn't contain his anger anymore and soon, he was about to turn around--seeing Haruna had left into thin air. Please, no more... just give me a break. Who the hell did this guy think he was? Was he here to prevent Haruna from committing such sins? He doesn't want to see him for his desperation, while everyone has his back. But... out of all options, why Maha?
Just leave us alone, we don't want you here.
"Fuck, he's fainted!"
Raiden cursed, seeing Sanju fainted after stressing too much. Who wouldn't? To witness all this disaster and his only friend who is willing to betray him and the rest. He need to have a fucking rest as much as possible. Kanae just stood there, feeling some rage building up on her composed and sleepy expression. Kirana helped Raiden carry Sanju, as well as Akito with his right arms while Kanae approached. "I knew it, maybe I could guess Haruna's reasoning for becoming Maha's pawn," Karina spoke, watching Kinana followed them to Sanju's mansion and his father Radithya got shocked after he had a meeting with Ryoma, Althair, Rayhanda and Karuna. "And what might that be?" Raiden asked, feeling stressed on knowing what is Haruna is willing to join Maha's group for.
Kirana sighed, before she glanced at them. "We don't know yet, but from what I got heard from him," she paused and continued. "He stated that he wanted to be the hero like Sanju was back then. What do you think?" she said, watching their reactions. Those words just sounds so stupid, is he for real? But there must be a reason behind it, it doesn't mean because he doesn't know better or something. Why did Haruna put his hopes on Sanju? Without knowing, it's best for him to remember how he was trying to defend him during the Nirvana Organization's raid in Yogyakarta and trying to capture him.
But, knowing that Haruna is also Maha's former subject in his experiment--it appears like the government like Singgahsana and World Government began to suspect him for being an accomplice with Maha himself--although he hasn't gotten to those levels, he decided to attack those two organizations in order to create a ruckus. Thanks to Sanju and the rest of the ex-Phantom Raider group had called and warned them for time being, they would send an entire division to capture or even killed him and the army will send backup and the investigation team will be sent next month.
While his thoughts fade away, everyone was on their way to escort Sanju to his room and letting him taking a rest--the poor captain felt mentally weakened after relieving all those painful and miserable past he had. Maybe, just maybe Haruna can see what was the person he met was. The very least, let him to rest peacefully. "WHAT?!" Karuna snapped, listening to Izana, Damian, Juha and Masaki regarding Haruna's sudden departure and he couldn't believe he joined that fucking sicko. "HE WHAT?!" Althair snapped as well, Kirana have known him for years--sometimes she met him when she was following him to make sure his safety until Haruna came along and their adventures so far.
Who else in the world like him, then?
Radithya didn't think much as he kneeled in front of his son who has been mentally tortured by his most hated enemy himself and losing someone he cared. He was devastated as he wanted to protect his son, but having a nightmare... it makes a lot of things worse. "I knew something had happen when the officials have been suspecting about Sanju's ability in science and Raksha and those Raksha-hunters got interested in him. Knowing that we got into this mess, I didn't expect him to revert back in time and witnessing the same incident again when he saw Haruna's expressions," Althair told the others, as Radithya noticed the orb and got angry.
"How dare that bastard disturbed my son's peace of mind, doesn't he care?" he exclaimed angrily, running his fingers through his hair. "That bastard want me to give his sorry fucking message? What does he think I am?!"
The others get that a lot, once a parent saw their own child suffered--they don't want them to know any problems anymore. This means, Radithya was more devastated on trying to calm Sanju down after witnessing his childhood all over again and the times he sacrificed and protected everyone. Kinana sat on the bedside, holding Sanju's hand and looking at them--the fifteen years old girl replied. "Sanjaya's hand is warm, he's still breathing," she took a deep breath, sighing for what has happened before she lowered her head. At least he's alive, for now...
Sanju's father covered his face with his palms, having troublesome and worried look on his face. "Fuck, it appears like we need to rest..." Althair grumbled, fuck this shit and the mission went to hell and doesn't even work as intended. This proves that their attempt was truly an eye opener to him and Sanju was devastated for his friend to betray them and working with their fucking enemy as well. Sanju slowly stirred awake, making them perked up. "Son..."
Sanju sits up, putting one hand on his forehead and groaned. "Damnit, my head... I thought my head would explode earlier..." he muttered, before Radithya hugged him tight to comfort him and looking away. Radithya doesn't even want to imagine what would Sanju's fate could be if he loses his mind. "Haruna... why...?" his mutter was heard, it made everyone upset upon realizing he's still feeling bad. "Sanjaya, please... it's going to be okay, just like how everything was alright for you," Kinana tried to reason, her voice was full of comfort and she was always been caring to Sanju.
They must agree to help and accept this challenge for his sake.
Akito hold his shoulder to keep him sane, but knowing that his friends can rely on his back would make him happy at least. Senja was holding back from punching Haruna if he encounter him later, who the hell would want to get involved him into this mess. It wasn't better, because he could still find himself out there for future plans. Raiden frowned, holding Sanju's arm as if to see him back to his senses. "Althair," Karuna spoke, he was worried of this as well. His expression became stoic, but it doesn't change his kindness and compassion with sadness. Althair patted his head, looking at everyone. "Let's take a rest. This has getting messier than we thought, and of all the crimes, I could guess there were a connection with Haruna from the first place."
After that, Sanju was laid to rest and his father grabbing a towel to put on his forehead. While the others decided to depart from the Adinata's Mansion back to Sanju's hotel that they booked for a while as Akito, Raiden and Kanae sat on the bedroom's floor. Kinana was on the bedside, while Sanju who is currently weakened is having trouble on remembering the memory. The best thing to do is forget all that has happened in the past, his headache has begun to disappear slowly as he heard Kanae's firm voices. "Sanju, don't feel so worked up over it and get some rest, okay?" she stated, patting his head gently.
"I'm sorry... just seeing him is always distressing me and cause so much havoc to begin with. Hearing Haruna's words and accepting my--"
"So what?"
Raiden snapped back, Akito just shook his head. Well, he get that they're still need a rest after a short recon mission and witnessing his former friend whom betray them. "Raiden, can you like?" Akito asked, making Raiden shrieked when his hand gripped his collars behind him. "Sorry," Akito just let go of him. "Anyways, look man, you just endured lots of pressure while having this kinda mental issue. There's no need to rush, just as Kirana said to you."
Kinana smiled gently, a quiet and shy but a patient smile. "We care for you, do your best for us... okay?"
Sanju nodded with a weak smile, while his father Radithya came in. "If anything bad happens to you, make sure to know that I'm here if you ever want to talk, son," he said to him softly, patting his head gently and not putting so much pressure of this sudden havoc--he could only sighed deeply and relieved the sight of his dear son is okay. Ryoma glanced at his son Raiden, he was worried if his son went too far and gave him too much hassle.
"Raiden, you take care of yourself... okay?"
Althair was there in the hallway, and seeing the light were turned on in Sanju's room that meant he had woken up. Luckily, Raiden's father Ryoma will take responsibility to patrol in Sanju's place to make sure that Sanju would still do his job as the class monitor in his college. Either way, Sanju would always been the key to Maha's plan and trying to make sense as to why Haruna had lost. "Father..." Sanju called, rubbing his eyes as he was about to sit up on the bed--not wanting to wake Kinana up. Holy shit, his entire body is aching like hell. "Yes, what is it?" he asked, opening the door slightly to avoid making a noise.
"Please make some food, I'm hungry... make one for Kinana too," he stated, that makes sense--still, he needs to not overdone it.
He placed his hand on Sanju's cheeks, who was just staring at his hands at first. His eyes closed shut, while his father sighed at the calm and kind demeanor Sanju possessed, noticing the soft skin on his hands and the warmth that radiated from his cheek... reminded him that he used to take care of him when he was a child and giving him food he like. Sanju was raised as a disciplined and respectful kid, maybe this is the chance for him to prove himself worthy and taking the responsibility if they weren't trying to tell him a million times, also protecting him.
Radithya kneeled in front of Sanju's bed, placing a palm on his cheeks. "Now, now, it's okay. But, I have to tell you this," he said, a small smile formed and it eased his heart. "It's not worth it if you stay a passive person when your kindness is your greatest weapon, Sanjaya," he explained to him. He looked into his father's eyes and put his hand over Radithya's hands. "Not everything is in our control. People don't have to be a good boy, but there must be a reason we do this."
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"Maha isn't going to forgive what we did... in fact, he is causing distortions and havoc."
Sanju spoke, before his father hugged him and he close his eyes--hugging him back, noticing that he doesn't have any longer memories and forgot about his nightmare. "If only a single moment turns into eternity, after all... I have to keep going forward and overcome this madness."
He would wonder what would happen to him now, he is starting to doubt everything because there are a few evidences that lead to the revelation of their enemy's hiding places, location and their main intentions. "At last, now you are being more reasonable," Radithya said, feeling his son's tears began to flow down his cheeks and wiping them clean. "And be responsible."
Sanju's face went comically sour, why are Raiden, Akito and Kanae are sleeping in his mansion? IN THE LIVING ROOM?! Sanju hold his head while Radithya just let out a chuckle, smiling. "They managed to protect you, since all of them were keeping their distance."
That's good at least, not wanting to bother other customers at the hotel they were in and let them enjoy their peace.
Meanwhile, somewhere far...
Haruna stood there alone, before gazing into his palm with an angry look and sadness filled his eyes. Maybe he could feel guilty, when he discovered the truth he didn't know why... what does he really want out of this? He just stood there, gazing into his palm as he sighed.
"What have I done..."

"The Elder Council needed more money for their resources? Hmph, that's why they're coming here?"
Maha asked when he was standing inside the control room in the Scarlet Armband Army's spaceship, folding his arms while standing in front of the window. His platinum blonde hair was pulled into mid-ponytail with some streaks untied below the tied hair--his hair is tied with black ribbon and his teal-blue eyes remained the same along his complexion. He wears a a formal uniform consists of black necktie formal shirt under his white blazer, a red banner on his shoulder and a pair of black fingerless gloves. Along his black long coat and white pants, a silvery red tie, and a set of boots that covers his pants (it's actually hidden). His youthful face remained the same, handsome and charismatic--he has a red armband that tied around his left arm.
Maha was looking at the picture of his eighteen-years old daughter Izana, even though he left her under her friends' hands--he still cared despite not showing it on his stoic expression. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose and reading the book about science, powers and mystical abilities that not seen by mere human eyes. "Even though I left her with her friends, where is she... is she safe?"
He wondered, his bangs swayed and covering his forehead slightly. A sudden voice was heard, making his scowl at the man.
"Sir, one of the leaders of the Legion Raksha are dead due to the interference, they're being killed by the Nirvana Organization's executives... until something have been noticed..."
Asking him what did he did and what he wanted, surely. Then, did he do anything stupid? Just hearing Sanju's name makes him so mad because of his memories. He merely sighed, before he turn around and faced his subordinates. "Do I need to care? To be honest, you didn't anything wrong about your failures in your mission... but you said this important matter concerns the Legion's fate? What was it?" he demanded, sighing silently to give his soldiers a silent scolding.
Right, Haruna will be here in few hours.
Gideon Pratama; the youthful scientist listened as he was observing the view of the city, humming in content while waiting for Maha to finish his rants. He has a wavy blue short hair with long bangs, fair complexion and wears a dark blue and black beaked plague doctor's mask that covered his eyes. He wears a single blue teardrop earring on his left ear, his attire consists of white leather collar with silver colored chains, dark blue formal shirt with metallic cyan-colored wristbands and scarlet-colored armband on his left wrist, black gloves with buckle on each sides, black pants and white and black shoes that had gears, belt, and blue scarf on the back of his clothes.
Gideon is known as a lunatic who wasn't bothered by the slightest concern for the casualties due to his mind is distorted, he was an intelligent scientist--but also a genius who created several segments of himself through prototype mediums he made. His contributions towards Scarlet Armband Army are very extensive, especially he was the main scientist of the Legion Raksha. He tends to act humanly when it comes to certain circumstances, until it's better to distance himself once again.
"Mahatma Kartawinata, why not you try a new plan instead of being sulky? I don't know about this information thing, but that doesn't mean you need to care about it, right?" Gideon asked, still remained emotionless and uncaring as usual. Maha tilted his head, he does have point...
The tall, handsome blonde-haired man that has dark sunglasses with striped grey gradient tint remarked beside Gideon. He wears a black suit, red shirt with black cravat, golden buckled belt, white jeans, and dark grey shoes. "Oh come on William, don't be such an uptight old man... also, Maha always been worried about his daughter's sake," Gideon stated, feeling William's intense yet cold eyes at him as he smirked in contempt.
Maha ignored them when he was back at looking at the photo on his hand, he didn't want to handle those small rifts between William and his assistant, he was pretty aware that he's very protective of Izana. Then, he stopped at the window's edges when he frowned and narrowing his eyes to focus on his objective. "You guys better leave Maha alone, he doesn't like being disturbed," Gideon ranted, William glanced at Maha's direction before he and his team left.
Gideon approached Maha who still remained his silence, albeit his head peeking beside the tall youthful man as he grinned sinisterly. "Don't worry, Izana would be fine... as long as she would use her powers she has," he remarked, tilting his head to his side. Maha narrowed his eyes, before he side-eyed him while he was holding his pendant.
"Where is my designated partner now?"
Orther Siahaan; strategist of Scarlet Armband Army and one of the executive leaders was walking towards the main hall of the spaceship, the Indonesian always retaining his youthful face and just like his compatriot Maha--he never aged at all and remained immortal. He was a mild-featured man with brown scholarly hair and wears a frameless glasses with chained strings, soft brown eyes and fair complexion. He wears a formal uniform similar to Maha's when it comes to the design, color palette and fashion sense with a long white grey formal trench coat with a high and deep collar that reached his thighs, black band around his left arm and black knee-length boots over his white pants. He always seen gentlemanly, elegant and calm and quiet as always.
Orther is known for being polite, soft-spoken intellectual, kind and gentle, but his true personality is composed and cold-blooded. He was Maha's highest confidant, due to his contributions, loyalty and unquestionable to all of his intentions. He is calculating, ruthless and cunning, he is the generalist and manipulator of the group as well as the executive leader.
He has been receiving his reports regarding to those missions and several Legion Raksha warriors were killed by the Nirvana Organization, but he didn't really care about it. 'Huh, the one who interfered with the mission was the Legion Raksha itself, what else?' he thought, placing his hands behind his back as his gaze is staring on the glass window.
"Orther."
Maha turned to see Orther walking alongside him, a small smirk displayed on his face. "Please don't you even attempt to do anything unnecessary or else... we cannot allow you to screw something up that was needed to be completed, understood?" he was smirking at him, but cold glare was heard in his voice. "Hmm, alright... now, don't get distracted and keep focus with your main objective... and I know you're financially supported our finance for this incident that's about to unfold."
Maha stood there like a statue, since when he financially supported the Scarlet Armband Army when it comes to their weapon finance needed and etc? His expression shows 'do-you-seriously?' look at him. Orther hummed, before he smiled in content. "Why don't we take a detour around the spaceship? This is your first time joining us here after we established this military organization," his soft spoken statement was hinted with venom behind the sentence, and he is always unpredictable whether he's using his politeness or taunting his opponents or allies--this could be due to his unpredictable personality.
Orther always makes people trust him, only for beneficial yet manipulative purposes, not only he is cold and ruthless--he was also the most calm and pragmatic of all of the executives. He smiled, he was waiting for someone to come and join him but no sign of the said member is nowhere to be seen. Maha never trusted him, thus... his cold shoulder act was proved to make the situation quite volatile and getting the silent treatment from his old friend was annoying him.
Haruna looked around while he walked down the hall, seeing everyone just ignored him and paid no attention towards him.
"I would love to, even though you two always got an odds when it comes to our cooperation at all."
Maha always wanted to flip him off in public because he despised him, but sometimes, he is okay if it's not related to the army. They spent a few hours together when it comes to briefings of their mission, they are trying to conquer some relics and artifacts to sustain their source of power for humanity and the organization's profits even weaponries. "Can I just... want to spit on your mouth?" Maha asked with a calm, but desperate and sarcastic tone which would normally make someone uncomfortable.
"Really, can't a guy speak here at least?"
Orther said quietly, sensing Maha's emotions are mixed of angry, guilty, sad and hatred. Why doesn't he make a single move to him anymore, but remained just an enemy. "Not a chance in hell," he replied, making Maha clicked his tongue and silently hissed, "Whatever asshole, if I find you coming after my daughter... I will definitely blast your head off.”
Several men were pushing some tubes on the way, suddenly Orther was standing in front of those who were carrying the substances needed. "Not here, go somewhere else if you think you're not important," Orther declared and Maha was silent, allowing him to order every members. "Also, a certain girl was looking for you, Maha."
Maha lifted his eyebrows, so he waited for the girl he's waiting for. "Tell her to come."
Turns out it was his daughter Izana who came into the spaceship (Karuna gave her an undercover mission so he can gather some informations about them), her platinum-blonde hair fell down to her shoulders; slightly wavy with bangs between her face and bangs onto her teal-blue eyes, she has light snowy complexion. Wearing a black sleeveless tank top underneath her light cyan-gray and dark gray high-collared jacket, with sleeves folded to her elbows while her jacket was split on the front with revealing her tank top-the jacket has underneath color of ombre red and orange. With red belt with light cyan-gray collar-like cape with red-orange ombre underneath did almost covering her belt, that fasten her black short skirt. As she wears a thigh-high white heeled boots with black borders above and also wears a fingerless black gloves.
Izana was pale while being surrounded by many soldiers and officials of Scarlet Armband Army, she actually want to go undercover at first--to the point she looks like she looks more than just an ordinary civilian. The way she walk was wobbly because the fucking high-platformed heels are so high to her limits. Well, she wanted to appear classy, she didn't want any men get into her pants by seducing her and look she has such a nice legs to boot. She was always wary and on the lookout of her surroundings, keeping herself vigilant and stern as Izana straighten up her posture. "Fuck this clothes, I can't believe I choose these outfits without thinking clearly…."
They flanked out to clear a path before Izana is back at walking once more, before Orther grabbed the handle on her waist as she flinched--she looks around and relaxed a bit upon noticing a familiar face to her. "Pardon me, but I will bring you right here, alright?" he greeted her in low yet passionate voice, a silent gaze when he's escorting her to follow along with his footsteps.
"Sure," Izana's attitude has changed to respectful and wary before she keeps her silent, following his footsteps to see the full view of the spaceship. "Wow… amazing," she muttered when she was watching the view, then she watched as there were several teams of the army's soldiers preparing for their work. 'Alright, noted... just like what Karuna ordered, he wanted me to keep an eye on Scarlet Armband Army. In case, they could ambush someone or even worse they caught me here. You know what to do, don't be suspicious and kill on sight, because it might be a threat.
Izana keep adjusting her skirt, making sure no one can touch her inappropriately and she would just made a disgusted looks. "Maha, this is the certain girl who wants to see you," Oswald announced to the entrance of the control room that was located on the spaceship, revealing the serious looking teal-eyed man. He fixed his tie a little and approaching her as his silver-greyish trench coat tails fluttered by the cold wind from outside, exposing him in the hallway.
Maha couldn't believe it, it was his young teen daughter--Izana, and she noticed his stern cold gaze at her. "I told you not to come..." he whispered, before his eyes widened at her short skirt and he look around to get something to cover her up--not that he forbid her to dress like this, but she was far younger than him... he don't want any creepy weirdoes looking at her because of that. "Thank you for your escort," he thanked him, allowing him to leave and Maha grabbed a coat and tied them around her waist to cover up her short skirt. "Sorry... their female outfits has a short skirt and there's no custom fit for the adults who are exactly my size--" Izana sheepishly remarked, wondering if Maha did saw her... undergarments--which would be embarrassing.
Haruna noticed that Izana is here, his eyes widened but he remain silent and continue to hide--making his usual stoic expressions before listening as he rested his head on the wall and remained unseen. 'Why is she here? Oh no, they wouldn't blame her would they...?' he thought while he waited on standby.
"Just sit down," he muttered before grabbing the seat and adjusting the size to her comfort. "Umm, thank you... and what's with that... outfit and your hair.. I didn't know you look great at being classy..." Izana murmured.
Maha hummed once before placing his gloved hand on his cheek, feeling how cold it is when he rarely touched other people's bodies or touching things on daily basis. "The current clothing of the executives consists of main leader, and I'm not a classy, young and handsome young man..." he said and he looks up while walking out to approach his seat and placed his hand on his other cheek that can made a girl swoon hard over him. "So, why did you come here?" he asked.
"Well... I missed you."
Izana's answer made him turn around with a slightly baffled look on his face. So, this is the actual reason, there's no way he didn't notice it. His eyes softened once again, it seems that his only child is far more honest compared to himself since he was being deceptive at times. "My, how lovely," Maha walks forward and placed his hands on her cheeks, making her smile as his loving gaze remain on her for a moment. "Is it alright to let you come with me?"
"Of course," Izana exclaimed with wide smile on her face, for a moment, both of them were standing close together before they broke the silence. Then, she was waiting for someone to greet her but much to her disappointment; they're so fucking busy that even her own father who would normally hug her or spending time with her family. 'Remember, Izana... your mission is to become a double agent for now, you can try to sneak on the data files of their information once it is safely secured in their system...' Karuna reminded her that, of course--she must not fail since this is vital than ever and keeping an eye out on her father.
Izana watched Orther for a moment, she felt uncomfortable by seeing his smile and eyes closed gesture. This man is known as 'The Man Who Should Not Exist', and he is one of the founders of Scarlet Armband Army ever since more than three hundred years, a terrifying person behind the shadows of this organization. Although, he knows her father but... the more she stays inside this spaceship, the more she become wary about him. She never trusted him at all, those soft spoken gazes and gentle acts were possibly a facade--or it's something else.
Izana realized that in this faction, the executives were given the absolute authority by their Supreme Commander and leads their own division within the army--the executives have disparate methodologies and motivations, which leads to frequent internal squabbling and a mutual lack of respect or trust among a number of its members. Then, she encountered Haruna--he was seen startled before she stomped towards him and he flinched.
Maha didn't see what had transpired before her, hearing a sound of stomping footsteps and she shook her head in disbelief before smirking smugly when Haruna averted his gaze. "Alright, you little shit. You really had the nerve to betray your friends... and your former position and even decided to help that guy and I was so worried he would harm you... dammit, you're so dead meat!" she snapped, using her foot to kick him hard on his buttcheeks and he yelped.
His teeth grit tightly before looking up, glaring and silently hissing. "Shut up, you didn't understand a single thing I've suffered after having doubts--" he paused when she kicked him on the face, grabbing his collar of his black coat and pulling him up with brute strength that would normally broken his arm into pieces. Then, she tossed him harshly like she just threw a ragdoll like that, it made him yelped in pain and getting pounded into the ground. "That's more like it," she said, turning around to leave him to follow her father with joyful prance.
Oh, little did they know Orther has observed Haruna's struggle to stand before he got on his feet, eyeing Izana's back for the final time before walking away.
As far as Maha concerned, Orther was cunning, calculating and manipulative individual whose strategy, ability to manipulate people and intelligence outmatched many people in the organization. His primary is to focus more on expanding Scarlet Armband Army's influence than to its overall budget. He only befriends to people he finds beneficial and important to him, a genius scholar who is mostly manipulated and controlled by his desires and his intelligence were all he has, and any form of friendship were not truly existed to him.
He treats people like they're his pawns, he does whatever it takes to complete his goals.
Izana decided to keep her distance from Orther, knowing how cunning the Indonesian general who was capable of deceiving and manipulating anyone to serve him--killing all the traitors inside his system. "Father, do they have a canteen here? Is it fancy or just something random like it?"
"Yeah, although a lot of my members find the food delicious than how it should be. I'm waiting for you, follow me," Maha hummed as he made a small smile, holding her shoulder while Orther was humming an Indonesian song to himself. Izana shivered to see Orther was closing his eyes, his humming along the lines and footsteps so quiet and gentle. He didn't touch her, there's a pair of guards escorting them by walking alongside Orther. "You good?" Maha asked, reminding her that he is her father and she nodded. "Yeah, I'm satisfied after I beat him up though."
"So, I guess all your strength haven't go to waste, you should be more careful with everyone in here. You didn't cause havoc again, aren't you?" he was grinning with fond gaze, she smiled back and shaking her head. "No, so this is legit place I suppose? What do you feel about them? Honestly."
"Fine by me," he put his palm on his chest with a noble smile that would make women fell so deep into his grip, except for Izana due to their family relations. Orther chuckled quietly and smiled to himself, finding this father-daughter reunion quite interesting and touching. "To be honest, you're certainly in higher status if you were well-off... although I doubt your rank are almost equal to my grandfather's old-time colleagues."
Maha snorted and looked away in disgust, he wanted to spit on the name of The Order Of Balance so much. "Good."
Later...
Izana sat down on her seat in canteen, waiting for her food to arrive and Maha asked the waiter for the food. Izana gets to know everything she needs about Scarlet Armband Army's private life; the military wing, their armories, research wing and etc. "So... I don't know that it's quite interesting when you're one of the executive's leaders here."
Maha was slightly surprised that she does admiring their spaceship, not his fault because that's what it is. "There were eleven executive leaders in this organization, we known as Imperial Guards or Elite Commanders--but we've called ourselves Executives," Izana nodded at his statement, nodding in understanding as he continued his sentence. "This organization also partnered with the figure known as Oracle's Eye, we were lead by the oracle known as "White Swan" but we don't know his name... yet. I joined them because they recruited me personally, not because of my desire to join them."
Izana nodded, ignoring Haruna who was looking at them from the corner of her eyes.
***
Izana was spinning the chair inside her father's office in the spaceship since it was floating above the cloudy skies (not the space, are you dumbass? This is like the main headquarter of SAA and flying around in the sky and could also able to go on ground level), then she stood up and watching the scenery for a moment. While Haruna was sitting on the large couch that was facing on the floor glass of the window behind Maha's table, he looks so peaceful and yet the truth could be so different compared to his façade. "Izana," he called her, making Izana hummed and turned around. "Yeah?" she called back, then he asked. "Why are you here with your own will? You know, this is dangerous... and you're not supposed to go here, Izana."
Haruna got smacked by a sandal on the floor, Izana literally tossed that object away with disgusted look. "Excuse me, you're not here in the headquarters due to your voluntary? And here you are, lecturing me?!" she snapped and taking the cup of tea that Maha offered her and Haruna muttered, 'thanks' for him and sipped the tea. "Easy, or I will show your underwear to my members... you don't want that, do you?" Maha said to her, making her stunned and got embarrassed by her father. 'Can I kick his face?' she thought.
Seriously, Izana scared Haruna so bad despite the young age due to her amazing fighting skills and those scars in her arm, he's afraid if he's made her mad once more and no one can prevent her wrath. "Sorry."
Maha knew that his own daughter is kind, but a bit cranky and sometimes childish and a bit wild at times.
