Sanju saw Haruna went out of the tent, he was too tired to show much emotion but he glad he was alive. There is no need to carry an additional burden, and this is something they don't need to know.
"Sanjaya!"
Sanju saw his friends are here, he felt Kirana back hugged him and he couldn't help himself but a smile of relief on his face. He returned the hug out of a reflex when he didn't know how to respond to these kinds of gestures. He felt Raiden hugged him as well, before they felt Damian push them to him from behind and almost to fall back. "Don't just take all the credit to yourself, make a room for us too," Raiden rolled his eyes in amusement at them, while watching Kanae facepalmed and Akito shake his head. Haruna waved at him as he grinned, while Masaki keep reading his book and Juha cracked his knuckles. "We're okay, don't worry," Demian patted him from behind, which made him sighed deeply before smirking at him.
"Yeah, you're heavy you know?"
"Who's heavy!?"
It was a relief that nothing wrong happens in his friends for these six months, he won't lose them and he thought he couldn't save them. The fear is here, he couldn't be prepared if something happens to them, this kind of fear can break him easily and it will break everyone else in the process.
Although Sanju has a complex to fear, Althair keep his trust towards him and he could lean to him more despite how much they don't talk to each other. Sanju was more at ease after seeing them, and Akito raised his fist up at him. Sanju watched him fist bump him, and he chuckled a little. "So, is it true that you're from Nirvana Organization?" he asked, Akito huffed. "Of course, my position is dealing with all of your asses here."
Raiden was looking around that so many citizens are here, his eyes widened to see his father Ryoma was crying out loud and his employees tried to calm him down. "Raiden!" he suddenly wrap his arms around him, pulling him into his arms that he was sitting on the flat rock. "I was so worried that you're gotten hurt! Thank God you're okay!"
Raiden cringed a little but he was relieved he was alright, but with the second thought--how did he survive without getting so many wounds? He'll ask him later about that and he felt him letting go. "So… who saved us? How did we…?" he was so confused why he was separated from his friends, before his father sighed with folding his arms. "I don't know either, but it was Althair's friend who brought us here after saving us," Ryoma explained, before he look around searching for him. "I think one of his allies are handling the matters with Nirvana Organization."
"Nirvana… Organization?"
Ryoma nodded when his employees are relieved he had gone back to his cool-headed attitude, which is his usual behavior of him. "I think I forgot to tell everyone about this, basically... they were looking for 'another fugitive' and apparently... I heard some of your friends are working for them? Well, his name is--"
"NO NO NO. We'll find out about it from him!"
Ryoma shrugged while Raiden shook his head slightly, he haven't heard Sanju's explanations about what happened yesterday and he saw Althair staring at him.
They encountered one of the higher-ups officer approaching them, the member of Nirvana Organization and currently overseeing Singgahsana that has been 'threatened' by their existence. The young man didn't change his subtle calm and determined expression, until he introduced himself with both arms folded.
"Jin Jaemin, Secretary-General of Nirvana Organization."
Jaemin is a South-Korean young man who has a short black hair with bangs almost covering his violet eyes, pale complexion and wears a silver piercings. As he wear a standard coat belonged to his organization that covered his attire underneath, he wears black sleeveless turtleneck with separate cloth of sleeves on his arms reaching his wrists and wears a camo-printed khaki pants tucked into black boots that reaching his knees--in addition of white belt wrapping around his waist.
Jaemin is an intelligent and composed person, although he appear distant and cold--he does have a kind and caring side. He is known as the prodigy, yet cunning and merciless towards the enemies who stand on his path and what his organization underlings addressed him; Demon Secretary-General. As the right-hand man of Nirvana Organization's Superintendent, he's very calculating and perceptive who analyze the enemy that making him dangerous. "That aside, I am here to make sure that Garuda University students will be under our supervision during this week to train to survive the next event," he pointed his fingers at the students, before adjusting his glasses.
"Especially you, Sanjaya Adinata. You're the main objective that the organization has been looking for."
Sanju wasn't surprised, he remained silent--there's no point of hiding it when it's going to surface soon. "May I know why are you looking for him, Secretary?" Althair asked calmly, standing by Sanju's side and wondered about him why was he brought here--besides, to begin with, Jin Jaemin was the experienced Secretary of the organization--he worked his way up from his ranks and he was considered as the perfect man--or so the organization has told him that is, at least, the more saner out of the bunch.
Juha couldn't believe that one of his compatriots was one of the Nirvana Organization, something that he can't trust the organization that much but it won't be that bad if he ever encounter this officer before. Except that Juha might end up being pummeled due to his abilities and training at the organization, trying to compete his physical strength or worst case scenario having to fight him. He need to give him some leniency, so he took a step forward and decided to speak his native language towards him--which Jaemin was slightly amused and intrigued that someone was talking to him in his native tongue.
'Are they speaking in... Korean?' Izana thought, looking at Jaemin and Juha and listen to their words--he was half-surprised that Jin actually converse in a different language, which made him even more curious. They were conversing with a rather stern but strong gaze from Jaemin, Juha wasn't fazed but holding his own against him.
"(Please, hyung... give him some leniency... he's still innocent and curious. I don't want him to get hurt, he's our friend)."
Juha said to him, knowing that he has the knowledge to let his friends continue their daily lives and perhaps see them as a valuable resource against their enemies. Jaemin look down at him, with his eyes narrowed before he took a few steps towards him. "(Friend, you say? The innocent always falls... and then get trampled on by the guilty)," he said as he paused, eyeing at him emotionlessly, while Juha can't read his mind in any case. "(Hyung, what's the evidence of him being a threat to humanity? Why do you want him so badly in the first place)?" Juha spoke in a low and serious tone to him, unafraid if he might beat him up for showing such determination.
"(I might consider it)," he stated, he has so many questions to know about him, although he won't force him to follow him but he must take measures so that the organization won't harm him or his friend's. "(Know this, Jeon Ju-Ha. As a recruit of our organization, if you had gone over the board, you and your teammates will answer to me)..." he told him in a warning tone, but he wondered if his friend is actually befriending this fugitive.
Now, they're speaking in English. Jaemin nodded when he was adjusting his glasses, before he turn around with a sigh saying. "I can't believe I'm saying this... very well then," he was so confused what the second meaning of that statement, was it his personality or something else? If so, he shall prepare for what is going to happen.
Juha crossed his arms, being satisfied. "Akito," Jaemin addressed his subordinate, Akito absolutely hated this asshole--not because of his position but because of his attitude and his cockiness of being his superior who knows many secrets and rarely divulge his purpose or action. The officer didn't acknowledge his existence nor remember his full name due to the amount of task he had to do for those damn people in the organization. "Your 'order' that Maha set is in three days--and I hope we make an agreement, but... you didn't fucking report it. What were you doing for these last six months? What were you supposed to find? This is what I meant, no one trusted you, Akito Kujou," he exclaimed seriously. Akito didn't flinch--he didn't care whether people trusted him or not, it was his mission to hide his identity and be invisible without been noticed--to deceive others or to be in the disadvantage and advantage point.
"I can backstab you anytime I want, asshole," he was talking softly without anyone listening, Jaemin stare at him without losing his cool composure. "You think you could pull a stupid trick, Kujou? Well, think again, bring your friends here after you brief about the upcoming mission--"
"I already report everything to you, asshat. You just didn't bother to check," Akito growled at him slightly, which pissed him off due to their rivalry in their workplace. "Listen, I don't care what is yours is. I should've killed you in the first place," he threatened him, whispering to him. "And, if you dare do something to my friends... I will skin you alive," he hissed lowly.
Jaemin made a gesture of 'eyes on me' when he look at him, before he glanced forward. "Follow me, he should be arrived with his chopper," he commanded, making them follow his command to the landing grounds for the choppers--while the other soldiers were busy with humanitarian aid.
"Our archaeologist and Superintendent of Nirvana Organization. One and only, Karuna Maheswara Effendy."
Karuna Maheswara Effendy; twenty-five years old Indonesian Superintendent of Nirvana Organization or known as Karuna, came out from the chopper, after a lot of works of evacuating the citizens and monitoring each areas. As he has a slightly messy short white-smoke short hair with bangs fell beneath his violet-blue eyes, he has a fair complexion while sharing similar height and age as Althair and his friends. He wears his standard Nirvana Organization official coat uniform and attire. Underneath his coat was his black formal collared shirt with light cream tie, the white gray vest and matching pants tucked into a pair of knee-length black riding boots.
As a Superintendent of Nirvana Organization, Karuna is a very bright and skilled archaeologist who researches in ancient and rare items all across the world--it's not pretty much odd that people didn't found his abilities. Known for his cool head and composure, however--he can easily lose it once you hit a wrong spot or use his emotions. Karuna is a lot colder and cruel since he took his duty seriously--he prefer small sacrifices to fight greater threat, and it was a part of the price he paid for his decisions. However, when he was not on-duty from his work--Karuna is forgiving and a man who loves a calm environment, he doesn't like crowds much most of the times. Karuna is proud and confident in himself, just like Althair--he's exceptionally intelligent that he doesn't let people influence his decisions, regardless if it's a matter of life and death.

When he stepped onto the ground when the chopper leaves, he look back at his two subordinates and Sanju along his friends. "So, Althair told me about your stories... Sanjaya Adinata, Masaki Shihō'in, Damian Salim, Jeon Juha, Haruna Sinuraya, Kirana Tjahyadi, Izana Amane, Kanae Ayatsuji... and...." he turned to Akito, who he entrusted to keep an eye on them. "... Akito Kujou, did you have fun in college with them?"
Akito has been indebted to Karuna after he recruited him in the college due to his unique traits to their missions. Even though he have a slight attitude of a rebel, he preferred working with the military than the scientists. Of course he love both profession but he was forced into a scientific study due to their benefits in maintaining laws, if there are no rules--then humanity is doomed.
He doesn't take orders from anyone, the only people he'll only accept it and show his respect is Karuna (including his daughter) and he despise Jaemin like Althair. Jaemin wants him to be well-polished for their missions, since he was selected to be part of the main headquarters by Jaemin himself. Meanwhile, Karuna thinks Akito needs to control himself before he thinks that Akito got himself into a danger during every missions he accepted.
Besides, Karuna have so many people entrusted to him after the Incident in Rituan Village that located in one of the islands in Indonesia. "Sir, please don't ask me about them," he sighed, yet he didn't want to give harsh comments about his friends.
Since the commander is a single-parent, he brought his eleven-years old daughter--Vanya Effendy that many members of the organization admired her. "This is my daughter, Vanya. I'm raising her on my own," he said as he glanced at his daughter Vanya, making sure that she was safe. "Now back to the business, we'll be dealing with the humanitarian aid and exterminating Phantom Beasts from the city and the heritage sites--including the one in Yogyakarta. Do not leave your spot, understand?"
"Yes, sir!"
Althair watched Karuna from the distance, he isn't sure whether he would be mad at him for not telling the consequences soon until now. He just observed him while the others left to get some rest, now Akito is left with Karuna and Jaemin. "Akito, why didn't you tell me that Sanjaya Adinata is that bastard's experiment?"
Akito stared at him with a serious expression, despite having a jerk-like personality, he would avert from everyone's gaze but somehow his job make him look forward. "Look, you were away from our workplace for six months. You didn't inform what happened, we would've withdraw you from college or something."
Karuna tilted his head after watching the whole situation, that his gaze switched into serious. "Tell me Akito, what's wrong and give me the precise details-leaving nothing out," his tone became colder, which made Akito grumbled and he folded his arms. "Look, if I tell you guys--you will take him away from us," he stated it in a stubborn manner.
"Akito... for six months you have been doing a surveillance on him."
"Because I have a lot of informants that has to be deal with, including my 'entire class' in Garuda University. Why do you think I have so many part-time jobs and the organization gave me a higher pay than other spies?" he retorted sarcastically.
Oh my God, this guy won't make this any better if he ever put that attitude in front of someone else. "How can a simple mercenary such as yourself expect to infiltrate Garuda University and get pass the screening? Did you forget what you were ordered to do? Go on a mission, get them to trust you, and then tell us about the weird abilities they show? Where the hell were you these six months, instead of actually investigating?" Jaemin retorted.
"Jaemin, that's enough."
Karuna halted him, and he didn't want his officers to fight again and blame one another--they're ruining the good morale of the organization. Besides, he knows the full story and the list of what was their task ordered to them. "I understand, Akito. You really cared about your friends, but you need to think about this and cooperate with us... do you get what I mean?" Karuna told him, his subordinate look away for a moment--before he folded his arms. "Yes, sir."
"Good, don't forget your orders--not to screw up your mission again or you won't have a proper paycheck," Jaemin stated bluntly, before he walked away leaving the two and went to make his next plan. Seriously, this is why Akito hates his Secretary-General so much.
"Don't mind him," Karuna reassured him that no one won't noticed or tried to touch them, after he has informed him that the event started today. Since Althair just came back, he couldn't tell him anything important because he does has a little problem to discuss... about Sanju.
After he left, Jaemin shake his head a little and glanced at them. "Akito never been like this before, he was once a cold, arrogant and manipulative young man… but when I met him while you are gone to Yogyakarta. It appears he warmed up with his new friends for a bit," he explained, watching him approaching his friends and the General-Commander look back at him. "When I first met him for the first time in United States, he was hard to handle--mostly his annoying and playboy attitude that I am not surprise about the rumors spread in high school. Believe me or not, he saved people and his charms saved him sometimes," he added, making the Superintendent staring at him with a rather intrigued reaction.
"Hmm... I see, I want to know how they didn't got pissed off with his stupid antics yet," he crossed his arms, chuckling a little when he remembered what Akito told him.
After that, the others have arrived to meet him after the break. Sanju was still cautious over the Nirvana Organization's soldiers who were eyeing on him, he was dreadful that made his throat tightened by the gulped. When he moved around, each steps he made was like a small thorn prickling him on his spine. "I swear to God, can all of you cut him some slack?" Akito demanded, making the soldiers flinched in fear by his tone and stood stiff. "Haven't I told you that commander and his officers are okay to talk to us--so don't you dare make him suspicious about your intentions. Go. Away. Now."
The soldiers hurriedly get back to work, clearly showing the fear from his scolding. Even Sanju was the subject, their objective they'll have to protect at all cost by the cost that may sacrifice everyone around him. "Sorry about that, they always listen to me out of anyone from the Nirvana personnel."
"It's okay... I'm not a threat to them... right?"
Sanju asked, hoping that they didn't capture him. "At first, Karuna wanted to bring you to the organization--even though deep down he didn't want to after what happened. If they told anyone, he couldn't get more pissed than me," Akito growled, rubbing his nape. "He's the one who told them not to even say a word about you or your other friends, seriously--they cannot piss him off otherwise he's angry for the insubordination."
Oh well, at least they were thankful of Karuna and the organization who saved them from the mess.
Sanju was called to meet them, and he didn't know what the discussion might have been, knowing that he's pretty nervous while the others stay away from the premises to allow him some time with Althair. Karuna and Jaemin have been waiting for him, sitting in front of their table. Akito was there with them (making sure his fucking superiors are aware and didn't bother him for anything), leaning against the bench next to the table with his arms folded before he gazed upon them.
"Alright, this is much better," Karuna sighed in relief, making a satisfying gesture with his hand as his gaze at him. "We just want your statement, regarding Mahatma Kartawinata's crime. Please, do not leave ANYTHING out, is that clear?" his tone went serious, which made him sweat a little by the subtle stern tone of his voice. But when he recalled everything he had with that person and look back at him, he nodded silently and started to open his mouth.
"I... witnessed his lab in Garuda University, the incubators were filled with clones of me and two others... I don't know if they look like my friends or not, all I know is they're perfectly humane--there are ones who looks like a girl," he told them, and they didn't seem surprised.
Karuna didn't comment anything as he hummed with his lips closed, listening to his statement and then, looking at him while Jaemin took notes on his minute report.
"He... figured out what I have been discovering, he stated that he saved me from the incident... which is true. Well, I wanted to escape but he kind of stopped me and lock me inside--good thing Akito saved me and... the professor got suspended temporarily for unknown time. Somehow, now... I don't understand... he told me how could he know about it, does he know me beforehand...? No way, how did I know I've been hiding that stuff about myself?"
Sanju murmured at the end, rubbing his forehead--he was having a bad existential crisis; while the two didn't know if they should be comforting him--only Althair can keep him calm even Akito had to reassure him. "Take it easy, what happened next?" Jaemin gently reassured him and gave him a glass of water.
"Well, everything seems fine after six to seven months until there was a Phantom Eruption--the Phantom Beasts attacked us, and good thing we managed to survived that," Sanju replied, before one of the personnels informed that numerous guests came to see them.
"What, Elder Council?"
The Elder Council is a community of elders who are part of the mass organization, they believe that Nirvana Organization is allied to the Phantom Beasts--even though they're not. They are the enemies to the United Nations due to conservative and religious beliefs, that somehow many members are killed in the counterattack--revealing that Karuna and Jaemin were the main target of assassination. So no matter the cost, they will do whatever it takes to kill them. Sanju was petrified that his grandparents are part of the Elder Council, what kind of betrayal is this--he didn't know which side that he should've sided with.
"Sanjaya Adinata, looks like you have arrived sooner than we thought," one of the female's voice sounded familiar, before he approached and his grandfather had a scythe on him. "It's time to join us, my grandson."
He could only widen his eyes, he found out that his grandparents supported the cause of Elder Council to gaslight shit--now he's being forced to side with them.
Sanju clenched his fists, first he lost their class mentor and NOW HIS GRANDPARENTS CHOOSE TO BETRAY HIM LIKE THIS? Oh hell no, they shall be ashamed for acting out selfishly. One of the elders noticed Sanju's expression darkened, before an elder try to strike and he was cut down instantly by Althair. "Touch him, and you're dead," Akito warned with a threatening voice, they have no right to do this or Althair will skin each one of them.
The other elders didn't seem pleased when the attack failed and Althair shielded Sanju.
Raiden was worried towards his best friend, seeing Sanju that he was mentally having a breakdown--something has happened. "I'm not letting all of you take my family's inheritance, you sick old-timers," Sanju whispered, seeing that no one shall make him join the darkness after his whole past, these so-called Elders are planning to exploit and manipulate people they'll use for their benefits.
"Oh please, everyone would be grateful to do what we want and they'll--ACK!"
Haruna punched him that the elder man had no time to defend, seeing that they were trying to bait him. "So, you're Sanju's friends--very well, this isn't over..." the female elder glared at Sanju, before glaring at them that they didn't step back but trying to read their minds.
Karuna glared at the Elder Council, they're so fucking annoying that they want to be superior to the younger generations and he sighed. "We weren't targeting your family either, Elder Council. Do not bring the unnecessary things here, because this is for all your crimes of trying to enslave the young generations and to seize power," he stated in a composed, cold tone. "Now can you leave us be? This is not a place for useless nonsense, this is a matter of humanity and the world."
One of them seems confused on the words what he said, before one of the member who knew them glared. Then, the Elder Council left in somewhat bad terms. Sanju turn around and walk away, his mood becoming worsened by each step and he need to rest his mind.
