Who is more Evil among two?

"Why are we turning toward this obscure road, brother An?" Lan Yueya asked, stopping under the Mud Oak Tree on the dirt paved road. The paved road led to the labor disciple huts at the base of the mountains, and the other less-traveled grass-filled road lead to the Aiden's cave.

Aiden snapped out of his daze. He'd been mulling over the mission and its outcome. The sub-quest was labeled as extremely difficult, yet up to now, everything had unfolded more easily than he'd expected.

"Brother An, what happened? What are you thinking?"

Aiden inhaled the earthy aroma of leaves. Outside the sect, such mature trees were prized for ink-making. Here, the Mud Oak grew untamed, its tangled brown foliage stretching skyward, ignored by all.

"I thought you wanted to spend some alone time with me. Don't you, sister Lan? Alone time?" he asked, giving her a puppy eyed look, or at least it felt like it. Only she could be the judge here.

And it worked. The frowns on her large forehead vanished, and a blush appeared on her pale cheeks.

"Yes, very much. But should we just go to your hut? It will be comfortable to lie down there," she said, her cheeks turning redder than a tomato.

"Why would we lie down in that barren hut?" Aiden sampled the aroma of the ink. It had a muddy flavor, and he immediately regretted his decision.

"Are you dumb, Aiden? She is looking to fuck you and you ask such stupid questions." Mi Tha chuckled inside his head. "The sheep is coming in a wolf's den and yet the wolf is acting like a monk."

"Well, you know, just to relax and be at ease." Lan Yueya fidgeted with her fingers, rubbing them together like a shy child longing for a sweet treat.

Aiden frowned, the rough bark of the Mud Oak digging into his back as he leaned against it. Was she really looking to have sex with him? Was she that desperate?

Regardless of Lan Yueya's intentions, Aiden had no interest in fucking her. His goal was singular: render her unconscious and allow Mi Tha to possess her body. But Lan Yueya made a good point. Being comfortable was utterly important here. Otherwise, how would he feed her the herbs and make her sleep peacefully? He couldn't keep pulling 'do you trust me sister Lan' statement again and again.

"Sister Lan, I'm taking you on a date where we will sit and chat peacefully. I want to know how your training went and how much you have progressed. It had been ages since we talked, just the two of us."

"Only us." She gave him a playful wink, her cheeks flushing an even deeper shade of red.

"Yes, but I need to borrow something from a friend before we do that. Do you mind waiting for me under this tree for sometime?" He pointed at a tree away from their current location. "Can you stay there without going anywhere, please?" If she stayed still under that tree, he would thank god for helping him, but her nature didn't fit this description so he would have to finish his task quickly.

"Brother An, I can wait for eternity for you. A few minutes is nothing." Giggling, she walked toward the tree.

Aiden rushed onto the dirt paved road leading to labor disciple huts. He avoided the area which lead to Li An's hut as a few bastards might be waiting for him there, and a fight was the last thing he wanted right now.

"Why is she so obsessed with you? Did you feed her a love potion?" Mi Tha asked.

"Wait, are there love potions in this world?"

"Of course, but it's not that easily accessible." She chuckled. "Once I fed a love potion to five men and made them fight to death, and then I killed the winner while his dick was inside me. The look in his eyes was just awesome. The fear, lust and the musky scent of blood on his body. Wow! Those were the good old days."

Aiden nearly stumbled as her words sank in. It was obvious - this woman was wicked, and he needed to keep his distance. Sure, he wasn't exactly a saint or something, but he'd never stoop to such cruel acts if he were in her shoes.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Just shut up and let me do my work." Aiden cursed back. This woman was annoying, at the least.

After reaching the first hut of the labor disciple, he knocked on the door. A young man opened the door after a moment with sleep still evident in his eyes.

"Do you have a teakettle and some tea leaves?"

"I do. Do you need one, junior An?"

"Yes."

"Scrub the toilet behind my hut and I'll think about it." The young man chuckled, his yellow teeth flashing through his wide open mouth. A disgusting stink followed, and Aiden regretted not punching him first.

Aiden arched his brows. "You want me to clean the toilet? Are you sure?"

"You do that every day. Why not do it again?" The young man sneered, his long face twisting into something ugly.

Aiden chuckled, and before the young man could react, Aiden punched him in the nose lightly, breaking his nose. Thank god his head didn't explode like the guy he had killed while saving Xu Ma. Of course, it didn't matter to him, but he wanted to avoid killing people in broad daylight, and exploding heads wouldn't go well with his new robe.

The young man dropped to the ground, unconscious, but alive.

Shoving him in a corner, Aiden searched the hut and picked up the teakettle, water skin, and tea leaves. This should do the work.

"Are you really going to woo her? You are taking this too seriously. Why do you need to brew tea for her?" Mi Tha growled inside his mind.

"Shut up and let me do my work, okay?"

"Don't you need fire?"

"I'll just burn a corpse and boil the tea over it."

"What an evil person you are. Even in my times, I saw no one using this technique. I like it. Boiling tea on a corpse fire. It sounds so satisfying. Let's do it." She cheered up.

If Aiden could, he would have smacked this girl hard, but he had to ignore that thought and rush toward the tree where Lan Yueya was waiting.

And she was gone. Vanished in the air. His fear had come true and now he had no chance of finding a suitable match for Mi Tha.

Fuck!
