The beautiful girl stood a foot away from Aiden, gazing at him like a loyal pup. Her eyes were a shape of the heart, and if Aiden had allowed, she might have licked him clean already.
How would he taste to her? Like a fine wine with the hint of honey? Would she like the hint of warmth his skin had, and the smell of the ash he had on his palm?
Fuck! Why was he thinking in her point of view? Was he gone insane?
"Brother An, how do I look? I wore your fevorite color, red." She twirled around, displaying her unmatured figure wrapped in a lose red martial robe. There was nothing to look at.
"Sister Yueya, what are you doing here?" He jumped to his feet and stepped away from her. She was the same girl Li An had teased, and suffered for almost year and half. Apperently Song Zhngwei liked her, and when Li An teased her his worse days started off. "Why are you here?"
"Aren't you happy to see me, brother An? Last time you wanted to take me out for a dinner, and now you look like you have seen a ghost," she replied, sounding heart.
"I didn't expect you to meet you after so many months."
Tears rolled down her eyes. "I knew you would be angry on me." She rubbed her eyes. "I wanted to come and accept your dinner request, but my father sent me to dungeon training." More tears came and she started sobbing. "I'm so sorry, brother An. Please forgive me. My sister told me how tha bastard Song Zhengwei treated you after I went away." She stepped forward, her scent hitting his face on. It was a weird smell, and he didn't like it at all.
Aiden stepped back through the uneven land until his back rested on a rough tree-trunk.
"Brother An, don't worry. I'm back. Everything will change now."
"What change?" He stammered. What was she trying to do? What he recalled from Li An's memories, he had these strange charms for girls and many girls had tried to court him. Aiden, though, couldn't care less about these naive greenhorne women. They'd barely reached adulthood, with minds still childish and unripe. He had no desire to get tangled up with any woman until he'd gotten his revenge.
It would only make his life difficult.
"You would love it, brother An. Just come to me." She spread her arms.
"What do you want to do?"
"How about I kiss you and we make up our differences? I'll ask my father to make you Outer Sect Disciple straight away." Lan Yueya's eyes flashed with a strange vibe, sending a chill through his spine. "Then you can marry be and we will have three children."

"Children?" Aiden almost plopped on his ass. What was wrong with this woman? Kiss, children - why were her thoughts reaching the heavens?
"Sister Yueya, please forgive me, but I've a test to attain." Turning away, he rushed toward the Alchemy Hall, which was located at the edge of a mountain. If he had known he would meet Lan Yueya here, he would have taken a different route. Why the heck was this girl back in his life.
"Hold on, brother An! I'm headed to that same exam. I aim to enter Alchemy Hall so I can make things right between us." Her voice trailed him.
Aiden's heart slumped. Was she trying to completely ruin Li An's life, which was now his. Although he had reached layer nine of Refinement Realm he was no match for Song Zhengwei who was an Inner Sect Disciple, and he didn't want to fight unwinnable battles from the start.
"Sister Lan, I'm sorry but I'm in rush. Let's talk later okay." He used everything he had to run faster and faster. If he stayed back, he would only face troubles he wouldn't want to face.
"Brother An, wait." She ran behind him, forcing him to run faster and faster, ignoring the stones and sticks piercing his legs. Blood had started leaking from his feet, but he cared for nothing but the target.
After what felt like eternity, a graval road appeared and he increased his speed further. There were a couple of warnings about his health, but he ignored them completely. At the end of the gravel road he reached a stone paved road which lead into Outer Hall.
The Outer Hall consisted of ten buildings, accessible solely to disciples of the outer sect. Li An had gained entry as a laboring disciple, but he still needed to pass a test to join the ranks of the outer sect and gain full access to the ten-building complex.
"Brother An, what's going on? Why are you running? Are you being chased by a beast?" A senior disciple guarding the gate asked, his hand reaching for his sword.
"Senior brother, there is a bear coming after me so I'll rush in." Bowing slightly, Aiden rushed into the Outer Hall and headed toward the exam hall. He already had the disciple token out, so no one stopped him in his run.
"When did this trash care for the exam?" The senior brother's offhand comment fall on his ears, but Aiden ignored it. Right now he had to beat the Lan Yueya and enter the exam hall.
"Disciple An, you are early for the exam. Do you want the Green Card?" A tall disciple stood in front of a stone pedestal holding three sets of cards. Green, Yellow and Red. Green was the easiest exam, yellow was the little tougher, and the red one was the toughest one.
Aiden didn't pause and picked the first card on the pedestal and stepped through the exam hall door. Once in, Lan Yueya wouldn't be able to pester him about kiss and children. He would just finish the exam and then vanish from here. If she couldn't find him, how would she pester him going forward?
Yes, that sounded like a plan. A real good plan.
"Junior brother, An, you are the first one in the exam hall. Hand me your card." A fat senior brother was standing in the exam hall accepting the exam cards.
Slowing down, Aiden handed his card to the senior brother who had his gaze on him as if looking at a snake.
"Senior brother, are you taking my card? Is everything all right?"
"Are you sure you want to hand over that card?"
"Brother An…." A soft cry fell on his ear and Aiden stuffed his card into senior brother's hand.
"Yes, I want to hand this one."
"Okay, but you can't say no once you and it over to me." Senior brother put the card away and when Aiden looked at the color, his breath choked up inside his lungs.
What the fuck! Why did he pick the red card?
