Mia dashed around the field with a restrained fervor. Moving more slowly then she could, whipping around less and making far less use of her normal feints. Her attacks were straight forward, her movement was dull. Which was all of course, a necessity. She couldn't make full use of her agility because if she did, her current passenger might just go flying right off.
Despite her best efforts, all of her self degradation for her reckless behavior, she couldn't help but enjoy the situation she was in. What's wrong with me? I know I shouldn't like this, that I should want to get out of this situation as fast as possible. So why am I grinning-or well, mentally grinning so widely? In this life threatening situation, I just can't help but have... Fun? Actually, I think that's it. This, this is not, "life threatening" any longer. I've quite literally outgrown the monsters around me. None of these monsters individually can pose a threat to me. Am I just... Enjoying the thrill of it? Or more so the effort? Maybe it's just the challenge I'm having fun with? Didn't know I had it in me. Maybe I should've looked into something like rock climbing back on earth... Woah!
Mia banked hard to the left, veering away from a monster that almost trampled over her. Normally she'd just dip under them, but with her effective height being twice what it would normally be at the moment, it wasn't exactly a valid tactic. Lest she wanted to risk knocking her current cargo off of her.
The only thing really holding Mia back right now, besides the obvious, was her own apprehension at her mirth. Mainly for one reason. Does being happy about the situation effect my experience gain? I haven't leveled up yet so that might be the issue... Mia dashed forward and took a chunk out of a monsters throat. Cause if it does, me being... Me right now, kind of ruins the entire point doesn't it? She pondered to herself as she dodged around yet another hit, though right before she was about to dip away from the fight to recompose her fears were assuaged.

...Oh! OH! That's big! So the situation doesn't need to be specifically life threatening, and it's not something to do with my mental state? I can just, be here and get experience? Maybe this class isn't so bad. Ah what the hell am I saying? I'm literally being forced back here in order to level the damn thing up! Then again, this is the most fun I've had since I got here, I think. It's almost enough to take the edge off! And the edge is a butcher knife by the way. Ahh... Get it together Mia.
With an easy grace she slashed through the monster that had tried it's hand at her, finding herself a little surprised when she didn't feel the sensation of her claws tearing through a monsters flesh. Instead catching on it. Her head twisted in shock toward her adversary as she ripped her claws away from it, hopping back and weaving around a different attack, almost ducking under it but she quickly recalled her current predicament, instead whirling around the attack.
The monster that had actually managed to take an attack from her with minimal damage was currently glaring at her. It was definitely... Unique in comparison to other monsters. Instead of being a normal animal you'd be able to find back in her old world. This one had a bit more of a mythical beast look. Looking similar to a wolf of some kind if she had to compare it to something, but with notable features such as horns and uniquely colored patterns in it's fur.
Even as it took another monster apart it's eyes didn't leave her for a second. Yeah look man, I'm not really feeling a death battle in the middle of all this... With a offhanded glance just to make sure it wasn't trying to charge her or something similar, Mia took off as quickly as she could, leaving the, she was gonna dub it, Fenrir to it's own devices. The gorilla that she'd taken down earlier hadn't given her any grief, all she'd felt then was her own bravado. That monster though... It was a little more threatening. A deep sense of unease permeated throughout her when she laid eyes on it.

Alright, that was weird. Haven't seen a monster like that before besides the big bear dragon thing. I sure hope they don't take offense to that minor wound because frankly I'd rather not deal with them. Two levels and I can get out of dodge, try to communicate with the little guy currently riding me. Then advance my class. Maybe switch the order of those last two around, who knows.
Eventually, everything faded into a dull rhythm for Mia. Dodge, strike, kill, dodge, dodge, avoid arrows, strike, kill, kill. dodge, strike, kill. Again and again and again. The pressure was constant, but it was bearable the whole way. In the end, Mia's perverse enjoyment of the situation eventually faded away once she'd grown fully accustomed to the situation, leaving her with the stress of having to perform regardless, mixed with a sense of tedium that was only broken up by two instances. The first level up, and the second.

Level cap reached! Class advancement available!
Her eyes flicked across the notifications for a moment, Level cap! Lets go! It was thirty, alright! New class here I come bab-WOAH! She dodged out of the way of a monsters paw just barely, leaping backwards out of the fray. Though, a different problem quickly arose. As soon as she started trying to run away from the battle, given she no longer needed to stay, her passenger immediately started to scramble over her head. Aye! No you dumb-urghh it's not their fault Mia calm down. It's not like it's just something they can control. Alright sorry about this!
Mia snapped her head to the right, knocking her passenger off and into the dirt below. Instantly she lunged for their scruff, chomping onto it and yanking them up. Full speed! Lets get goiiiiiing!
She sprinted from one point to another, dodging the occasional attack of opportunity a cheeky monster attempted. She didn't stop to take revenge for the attacks, but she made sure to give the offending parties a mean glare for it. That'll teach em. Eventually, she returned back to the very same area where she'd figured out that her current cargo was, in fact, a human. Or at least, somewhere near it or similar to it. All I really need to do now is to just keep going. I'm sure they wont mind if I drag them too far away, would they? The deeper forest should work I think. Maybe one of my shelters would work? I'll probably just have to body guard for them for awhile now that I think about it.
Even as she debated herself, she continued to sprint further and further away from her prior commitments, eventually breaching into the deeper parts of the forest. Light slowly bleeding away, replaced by an ever present darkness. Really just a homey atmosphere to her, lovely even. At last, she'd come to a stop at the hidey hole she'd put the most effort into. Being able to fit a respectable three and a half Mia's within it. Unceremoniously, she tossed her cat person into said hole.
Alright! You wait there. I've got a class to advance.
Even as she thought that, they were already trying to clamber out of the hole. Luckily, it was pretty easy to not climb unwillingly, so she figured she'd have some time to pick out something before having to deal with the problem that was this cat. Well, that was putting it rudely. This opportunity t-that still sounds bad. This PERSON that was the cat.
Without further adieu, she opened the menu.
