Actively resisting the influence of the pull on his mind was tough work, which was only made slightly easier by the fact that with one burst of will he could reset the progress that it was making.
Willa moved up and down again and again, slipping down the slope of the dirt hole he was in repeatedly. What with the ample free time that he currently had Willa had a lot of well, time on his hands, paws he supposed. But not much to put it to use with. They could only wonder to themselves what the hell was going on with their savior at the moment. Were they human? Were they okay? Being collapsed on the ground and passed out didn't bode well for the second. But it wasn't like he could just get out and see what was wrong.
While he did have other things to think about, they weren't particularly pleasant. Like how he'd ripped another creatures throat open in self defense or how he'd eaten it afterwards... His body shuddered as he subconsciously thought of the moment. How long is this thing going to last...? Am I just doomed to go towards it? If only I could just... Talk! Willa strained against the physical compulsion once again and tumbled down the slope.
...What even am I right now? He finally asked himself the question, after about two hours of just reenacting Sisyphus's punishment he finally took a closer look at his class page, right after managing to toss himself to the bottom of the hole of course.

So, I'm some kind of cat, but I already figured that out for, obvious reasons. He mused to himself as he gave his body a once over. Now I know I've been sent to some kind of... Game world, I think? But I really don't know anything about whats going on. I think my friend up there has some idea, but they're a little... Occupied at the moment, from something. Every time I peek out of the hole I can see their chest rising and falling steadily so it's not like they're dead, thankfully. Something happened to them though and honestly...? I'm trying my best to not freak out here and that's really not helping.
Willa couldn't really do much to express his own discomfort at the moment with his body being forced into some form of autopilot. Though he was still extremely anxious with everything that was going on. They were close to just freezing up back in the shitstorm that was that horde of monsters, in fact they DID freeze up when confronted by something as quick as the wolf. Because of how scared they were getting. Being pulled away had helped, but having his free will smothered and being dragged in a direction didn't do much to ease that particular fear.
It had stopped rising now in the safety of, or well, relative safety of this hole. But it wasn't exactly going down either. In fact their anxiety was still kind of increasing now that his rescuer was clearly unconscious. Literally anything could just... Swoop in right now and pick us both off, and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it. I wouldn't even be able to resist besides running in one direction. Then that'd just lead me straight back to even more danger. God please wake up soon...

Up, and up, and up again... Willa's mind was running thin, he wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to go against the pull. If it managed to well, pull him out of the hole while the wolf was still unconscious he figured he would be done for. So even if it was taking all his willpower to do so, Willa fought to remain still, to NOT climb out. Active thoughts gradually faded away, leaving only a lingering sense of anxiety in their place. Which if you've ever suffered with anxiety, you would know that is a terrible feeling.
Push off, climb up, stop, push off, rinse repeat. Willa pounded this set of instructions into his anxiety riddled mind. Forgoing all absentminded thoughts for... He lost track of how long exactly, but it was a fairly long time. Long enough for the sun to start setting at least, leaving the already very dim light of where he was even dimmer.
Right as he felt his will was about to crack, the unrelenting pressure mercifully calmed. Slowly fading from his purview. Holy... Is it over...?

The pressure had finally abated, accompanied by the fresh influx of stats Willa suddenly found himself going from almost completely mentally exhausted to somewhat aware in the span of seconds. Oh... Thank god... It's over...?
He almost entirely ignored the notification of his rapid fire levels and simply collapsed to the ground. Gasping for air, he hadn't realized how little he was breathing in that state of concentration. He had almost suffocated by proxy of just... Not breathing! They greedily sucked in fresh air as if they were a man drinking water after three days in a desert, before finally stumbling up to their feet. Even with the stats boosting their awareness, they were almost entirely mentally spent. But there was one thing that they needed to see before passing out.
Willa crawled to the top of the hole, finally actively choosing to leave it with his mind being his own once more. He peeked out over the top and... Ah, they're awake... Alright, so can I sleep then...? Ah I'm sure they wont let me... Die...
