Pokeballs have rules and everybody, human and pokemon alike, knows them; some balls are good for using at night, others for in the water, others work better on certain Types. Better models simply catch pokemon better. In every case, there are things that pokeballs do not do. Pokeballs can be resisted, they're never 100% successful. And they don't work on humans. Right? Right? Lux is in a bit of a pickle. She came into contact with an eevee and strange pokeball all at once, and... that's where things went terribly wrong. Now she's not quite sure who she is, what she is or where she's going, but by gum is she going to make that everybody else's problem. Fourteen pounds of the world's cutest fluff is on a mission.
