Cooper jumped over the ditch to Tommy, making sure the man was still breathing, which, luckily, he was.
"He's breathing, but unconscious. Help me carry him to the wagons, someone should be able to help him there?" Cooper called to the elf and the lizard.
"Yes, I will help carry him." The lizard responded, sheathing his axe and jumping over the ditch.
"We need to be quick, combat isn't over. I haven't received XP. It's likely not here but rather at the wagons, maybe the Captain." The elf said, halting Cooper and the lizard momentarily, before they went back to their task of trying to carry Tommy over the ditch.
"Fine then, we hurry. We don't have any other choice." Cooper said in turn.
The two managed to get the unconscious form of Tommy over the ditch, Cooper and the lizard carried Tommy while the elf kept an eye behind them for any unwanted surprises. It didn't take much walking before they were at the bend in the road and finally laid eyes on the rest of the caravan. There were several goblins and a troll trying to break through a magical defensive bubble.
"The caravan's still fighting, Ardel, go help them!" The lizard cried out to the elf, who was apparently called Ardel. Before Ardel could take off to go help the wagon, the troll's head came clean off. Cooper hadn't even seen anything move. Cooper then saw a figure standing over a dead goblin. In fact, all the goblins were dead with the figure now jogging over to them. It took Cooper a few more seconds to realize that the figure was the Captain.
"Is Tommy okay?" The Captain yelled from a distance still.
"Yeah, well, he's breathing at least, hoping someone who knew what they were doing could take a look." Ardel responded before Cooper could.
"His HP is still fine and not dropping, at least from the few seconds I could glance, the rest of you okay?" Captain turned to Cooper and the lizard.
"Yeah, a troll managed to slap me into the road but it was a glancing hit. The Stalker saved my life twice by my count, probably more to be honest." Cooper only now came to realize just how close he'd been to death.
"Me and Ardel are fine too, Tommy got sent flying into a tree by the troll, it's dead in case you're worried. How's the battle up front?" The lizard turned the conversation around now that Tommy was deemed not dying by the Captain.
"I'll be honest, the very front where me and the rest of the high levels were, was not good. It took us a while to actually take care of the attacking force. I'll tell you more about it once everyones gathered, I reckon it should be something everyone should hear, but I'll say this, this was not a standard goblin warband. Now, pick up the pace and get Tommy into the wagon box, combat is still not over." The Captain hurried the group into the wagon box. Cooper hadn't even thought about examining Tommy, so he did that while on the way.

"Holy shit." Cooper said out loud accidentally. He pushed the notifications to the side, focusing on the task at hand, quelling his surprise.
"Yeah, I'm guessing you got a lot of XP for the troll, huh?" The lizard said.
"Yeah, sorry, didn't mean to say that out loud, we've still gotta get Tommy over to a healer." Cooper said, embarrassed.
"It's okay, he'll be fine, Captain said he wasn't critical. His HP hasn't dropped, actually, I think it's gone up a bit." The lizard tried to make Cooper feel less awkward.
Cooper Examined Tommy and his HP had indeed gone up by a couple of points. "Yeah, I'd still rather get him to someone just in case."
"Fair. Well, we're almost there." The lizard looked forward, stopping the conversation much to Cooper's relief.
"Get him to Reta." Someone atop one of the wagons said as the group approached the box of wagons.
Cooper saw Darren with his right arm's armor rent open with blood and wounds covering most of the arm. Cooper paid no mind as Darren didn't look alarmed, in fact, he was smiling at Cooper.
"He'll be okay." Darren said as they passed him, Cooper nodded in response.
In the middle of the wagon box was a mage who Cooper recognized as Reta, looking tired but not wounded.
"Hey, the Captain told us to bring Tommy over, can you look him over?" The lizard started. Cooper was thankful as he had no idea how to begin.
"Yeah, lay him on that wagon's side Razar, should be sturdy enough, even for a big fella like Tommy." Reta joked, easing Cooper's nervousness.
The lizard, Razar, and Cooper laid him down on a small platform coming out of the wagon's side, used to display goods and merchandise, Cooper thought. Reta got to examining Tommy's condition, hand glowing a blue-ish hue, hovering over Tommy.
"He'll be alright, just knocked out cold." Reta said as she finished her quick examination of Tommy. "I'll top him off with a weak healing spell, saving MP in case some others need it more." Her hand glowed brighter for a second and then the glow faded. She nodded and walked off towards Darren.
"So, he's good. Are you good?" Razar asked Cooper, surprising him.
"Yeah, a little dizzy still from the troll slapping me around but I'm okay. I think, I haven't actually checked my HP." Cooper hadn't realized to check his own status in all the hurry.
