"Hey, Darren. Tommy's awake and wants to talk to you." Cooper said to Darren who was testing out his arm, seemingly a bit sluggish.
"Oh, that's good. I think. I was expecting his lazy ass to sleep for at least a month." Darren joked before continuing. "Did he say what he wanted?"
"No, and what worries me is that he seemed almost intelligent in his speech. Scary." Cooper joked back.
"Hah. I'll head there I guess, got nothing else to do before the Captain has his little gathering. Did he mention anything about what happened up front?"
"No, just said that it'd be better to tell everyone at once or something along those lines. Oh, something about it not being a standard goblin warband as well." Cooper had trouble recalling what exactly had happened after the battle.
"Yeah, sounds about right. Normally I wouldn't get hurt like this either, especially with the Captain and the others." Darren winced as he rubbed his arm. "I should get to Tommy before he does something stupid. See you later, Cooper."
"See you, Darren."
Cooper headed off to find Razar, despite his wishes of not wanting to answer questions. In Cooper's mind, this wasn't really that type of a question anyways. Cooper walked through busy people, either trying to get the wagons back in an orderly fashion or dragging goblin corpses into the ditch. Cooper spotted Razar talking to the elf, Ardel.
"It is what it is, Razar. We'll find out later."
"Yeah, I just wish I knew now so I could nap. Tired from the fight, but probably more tired from answering the new guy's questions."
"Good thing I'm here for more." Cooper interrupted the two.
"I want to run. Should I run, Ardel?"
"It can't be that bad." Ardel scoffed at Razar.
"You take this one, then." Razar said, stepping back.
"Well, it's not actually questions like usual and it's just one." Cooper said, but before he could continue, Razar interrupted him.
"It starts as one, innocent question. I will not make the same mistake."

"Like I said, it's not like the usual questions. I just need to know if there's a spear I can use somewhere, I want to test out my new ability."
"See, I don't know what you were worried about Razar. The tradies probably have several, I could point you to the specific spot usually, but they're kind of scrambled now, so best bet is head down and ask around for either Rull or Donna, they both should have something, Rull will have actual weaponry, Donna would have something just for testing the ability." Ardel answered, with a smile on his face.
"Okay, thanks, I'll go down the line and ask around."
"Hey, before you go, what ability did you get?" Razar asked.
"Beast Blink."
"Never heard of that one, then again, I don't really deal with Ranger's that often. Speaking of, where is your beastie?"
Cooper looked around, having grown accustomed to his Stalker doing his own thing. After a brief search, he felt a poke at his calf, turning around he found his Stalker, poking him, as if he knew that they were looking for him.
"That's creepy. I didn't even see it walk up." Ardel commented.
"Yeah." Razar agreed. "Have you given it a name yet?"
"No, I haven't had much time and in that time I haven't come up with anything fitting."
"Fair. But don't let us keep you from your quest for a spear."
"Right. I'll be off, thanks again." Cooper bid farewell, heading down the line of wagons.
"See, I told you, you were overreacting." Cooper heard Ardel say as he walked out of hearing range.
"Well, lets get to it then. Rull or Donna." Cooper said to his Stalker, walking towards the nearest wagon.
"Hey, do you happen to know where Rull or Donna is?" Cooper asked the tradie at the first wagon.
"Last I saw, Rull was setting up his wagon for travel again, a couple of wagons further. Haven't seen Donna. Rull's a big one, almost taller than the wagons, hard to miss."
"Thanks for the help, see you later" Cooper bid the tradie farewell, heading where the tradie had pointed.
Cooper passed several wagons, looking around each one to make sure he didn't miss Rull. He neednt've bothered, Rull stood out like a sore thumb, lifting a wagon up to have someone replace a broken wheel. Cooper walked up as Rull put the wagon down.
"That should do it, if that other wheel gives you trouble, let me know." The other tradie said.
"Thanks, will do." Rull spoke, Cooper felt like the ground shook as Rull's deep voice rumbled through.
"Excuse me, but you wouldn't happen to be Rull?" Cooper spoke up.
"Yeah, that'd be me. What do you need?" Rull answered, the other tradie having left.
"I heard you have weapons for sale or something like that? I need a spear to test out a new ability, and maybe for keeps if that's a thing you can accommodate."
"Yeah, I should have a couple spears, unless a goblin managed to take off with them during the fight. Come, lets have a look." Rull motioned Cooper to the back of his wagon.
Rull opened the doors to the back of his wagon and slid out a large flat wooden board from the bottom with weapons attached to the board and did the same for boards on the sides, pulling them angled to the side.
"Right, looks like three spears for now, I don't know when I'll be able to get more made, don't know if the forge in the next town is good enough." Rull explained. "This your first one?"
"Yeah. So you're a blacksmith then? It'd be nice to have some perspective and advice regarding my choice." The Stalker peered up at the weapons from Cooper's side, also seemingly interested in the spears, maybe due to their stick shape.
