Cooper stared at the blue box in front of him. He reached out with a finger, touching the box. Nothing happened. He poked and prodded at the box, nothing happening, until he noticed the X at the top right corner, pushing his finger against that, the box disappeared and another appeared in its place.

Classes unlocked, choose now? YES/NO
----------------------------------------
Not knowing what exactly to do, he stared at the question with a blank expression. After pondering for a moment, he chose NO, assuming the phrasing of the question would let him choose later, when he knew better what he was dealing with. This line of thinking brought on several other questions, but those would have to wait until later, until the matters at hand had been resolved. Matters like the wolf-thing. After having chosen NO, another pop-up appeared.

3 Stat Points available, allocate now? YES/NO
----------------------------------------
For the same reasons, he chose NO. The box disappeared and he was suddenly hit with understanding, like someone fed his brain a quick manual to mysterious blue floating boxes. It wasn't as if he understood all the ins and outs of the blue squares, but he understood the basics, the core idea and purpose. Every time he asked himself a question in his head, he understood the basics regarding it, like what Stat Points and Classes were. Seemingly, stat points influenced many things in this world, but the main takeaway from them was they made you better at whatever was related to the Stat. Classes just seemed to influence what jobs and professions you did and how well you did in them. You could specialize in combat or 'civilian' professions.
As Cooper pondered his newfound options in this strange, yet familiar world, the wolf-thing had been eyeing him curiously the entire time, Cooper having forgotten about its existence, having been taken over by questions related to the blue boxes after all. He thought about his options regarding the wolf-thing, to kill it or to leave it to its fate. Killing it seemed cruel and unnecessary, leaving it to its fate in its current state seemed equally cruel. Eventually he decided on the third, unspoken option. Helping it heal from the wounds he inflicted and then leaving it to its fate, hoping his unmatched skill with stick would still be fresh in its mind. Still unsure why he chose this option, he set to work, looking for a pair of solid sticks to help heal the wolf-things wounded leg, now realizing it was called a Juvenile Grey Stalker as mentioned by the blue box. Still a juvenile and a level 1, explaining its quick defeat and in hindsight, lackluster tactics. More things to ponder later. His own stick having splintered badly from the fight, it was no longer useable, at least not for his current predicament. He quickly set about looking for a stick that looked sturdy enough, but had trouble finding one, let alone one to replace his weapon. Then suddenly, he heard a twig snap, brushes moving. He spun around, looking for the sounds origin, an all too familiar feeling, thoughts of the Grey Stalkers family coming to find their young and taking revenge on whoever had hurt it rushed into Coopers head. Another sound, closer this time, he was able to locate the source. The Juvenile Grey Stalker had somehow healed its leg, at least well enough to walk and found him, but judging by its posture and approach, it didn't seem to want a fight any longer. Lucky for him. In fact it was leisurely walking towards him, seemingly without a care in the world.
