Sometimes, people worry about their image. I did that once… never again. That was a stressful experience. Not the being judged part, that happens daily, but the worrying about being judged. There’s a point where you just need to stop caring otherwise it starts to become harmful. Actually, that applies to a lot of things. I’d list them, but I no longer care about them.
I reached that point ages ago.
I saw a boy fussing with a suit jacket for three minutes just before walking into one of the skyscrapers. His jacket was fine, but that didn’t stop him. Although if there was something wrong he would have caught it in the three minutes he spent looking for it.

It makes sense at a certain level. You want people to see the best of you. Not the you that passes out in the middle of the sidewalk at two in the morning after seeing a ghost. He must not respect his elders. Or he was drunk. Yeah, probably just drunk.
It’s not really a bad thing, but too much worry can do bad things to a person. Same with stress. Same with any other emotion. Emotions are fickle beasts. They can cloud your judgement or cleanse the mind. They can affect your image. For better or worse.
