335. Welcome to the Floor of Amalgamation!

The next time Frost awakened…

“… a blue sky…? The sun…?” Frost whispered, staring up into a pleasant afternoon sky past Jury’s cascading hair.

She heard splashes.

The laughter of the others.

She felt Jury’s embrace tighten as her eyes lovingly locked with hers. It was the perfect way to wake up. And when it felt like Jury would lean down to kiss her –

“O-Ouch – J-Jury –!?”

– Frost was constricted by her tail. Her cheeks were pinched until they turned red. Jury didn’t say a word as she pouted furiously. It was obvious why she was so angry, and Frost realized that she had made her worry again.

“… Yeah… I’m –”

“’– I’m sorry. I know I’m an idiot. I’ll try not to do it again.’” Jury spoke for Frost. “How many times is it going to take until you stop running in headfirst! I hate that part about you! Because what if something happened to you again!?”

Jury rightfully scolded her, and Frost took it to heart, also agreeing with her over eagerness. It reached a point where Frost became so pitiful that it felt like Jury was shouting at a puppy.

“I didn’t realize how strong a Paradise Lost Corrupted was –”

“Idiot, if we couldn’t take down an Apocalypse without following the gimmick Conditions, then what made you think you could take it on!? I’m angry at the Arbiter too because she obviously knew what you were getting yourself into!”

This was the first time Frost had seen Jury so mad. It was refreshing in a good way, because it proved just how much she meant to her. And it pained Frost to know that she continued to hurt the person she loved.

It made Frost tear up as she weakly held onto Jury’s hand, which hovered around her stomach.

“Promises shouldn’t be broken so easily, you know! Really, Frost… I just don’t want you to keep disappearing from my side.” Jury deeply sighed, floofing Frost’s face with the tip of her tail, wiping away those tears before she broke into a relieved smile. “If you’re going to keep being so reckless, then maybe I’ll just have to hold you down.”

Jury unexpectedly pinned Frost against the grass, showing that she meant what she said. Even though she was angry, there was always a layer of kindness mixed within those golden eyes.

And before Frost could say something, Jury mashed her lips against hers, casting away the guilt in her chest. Frost didn’t try to fight for dominance. She completely submitted to Jury, falling deeply into the pleasure of finally tasting her lover after so long.

The voices of the others could no longer be heard as they entered a world of their own. Frost felt like Jury knew she couldn’t find the words to respond, hence why Jury went in for the kill.

Their tongues danced, with Jury easily overpowering hers. She was hungry, and Frost was an irresistible fruit to the starved Angel. But there was no taboo this time. No wrongs. Only rights.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

The kiss lasted for a short while, but to them, it was not long enough.

The sun shone overhead, basking them in its brilliant warmth as Jury shot her a smile even brighter than the sun.

“Do it again, and watch what I’ll do to you.” Jury threatened in a seductive manner.

Frost finally managed to break free from her guilt and grinned back.

“Don’t threaten me with a good time.” Frost joked. “Thank you. Really. I love you.”

Jury slowly leaned down again, yearning for her lips once more. “I love you too…”

But suddenly, another pair of golden eyes was shoved between them. Nav’s face appeared seemingly out of the blue, receiving a kiss at the back of her head from Jury, and a kiss on her cheek from Frost.

“I was told by Cer that heading between you two was an excellent method of increasing our bonds. I appear to have skipped all the formalities and entered the ‘kissing’ step. Woooo.” Nav celebrated with the most tone deaf, monotone voice possible before she turned over to Cer, giving her a thumbs up. “It worked.”

“Heh. Guess you could say you headbutted in, huh Nav!?”

“I get it.” Nav nodded, headbutting Frost and Jury unintentionally with a metallic thump. “Oh, I didn’t have enough clearance to nod properly.”

“Are you doing this on purpose?” Frost had to ask Nav, causing her to tilt her head to the side.

“Doing what?” She responded innocently.

“World to Frost! We’re in the Floor of Amalgamation! What the hell do you think you’re doing with Jury in front of all of us!?” Cer barked, already assuming a sprinter’s running position as she knew that hell would soon follow.

“Ignis is here too. Think about her!” Ber, who was supposed to have matured, joined in, covering Ignis’ eyes with her tail.

“… May the Beholders help you, Cer.” Res offered a prayer, knowing well what was going to happen. In fact, she pulled out a piece of soap from her Dimensional Storage and gave it a small rinse in the nearby lake.

Frost created a steel scrub from her strings.

It was time to scrub down that damned wolf once and for all.

* * *

< I can see you’re giving Cer a scrub bath. It looks comfy >

< I have taken refuge onto Snap’s back. There’s a woodland nearby with animals >

< Mm… This place is what you could describe as a paradise, I believe >

< Ahem. As you can tell by my prompts, a part of our communications has been reestablished. My manner of speech is also integrated with the prompts. Hopefully I don’t sound too cold in your mind as you read this >

< I expect to be able to showcase your stats soon enough >

< But for now… >

< Welcome to the Floor of Amalgamation >

< Also… >

< Thank you. I could not bring myself to say these words a number of times >

< Whenever I did, I felt something bothering me in my chest >

< I suppose that is what you would call shyness. I don’t know myself. But I am grateful to experience it >

< I just thought you should know, Frost >
