Two days passed , and it was the day that Sam would return .

In the meantime , Alex and Helena had discussed intensively what preparations they would implement , and Alex had met with an emotional Sarah who couldn’t believe that she was going to become a grandmother .

No , we want to do so after Cynthia has finished her project .

She was busy even while we were traveling with a real spaceship .

At this , Alex snorted while trying to hold his laughter and Helena got red eared.

“Mom ! It’s none of your business , and we are all grown-ups here .

Besides , we aren’t a couple long enough to be thinking about kids” replied Sam.

Hours passed , and evening approached .

Helena and Alex were setting up everything in their penthouse .

Mary even offered to watch the kids if they were busy , at which Helena told her she would talk to her later that evening after the ruckus settled down .

Sam told Alex , “after all that on the docks, you were hiding something like that.

After everyone had congratulated Alex and Helena , the party started for real .

John decided to follow the wishes of Etherea , and after his conversation with Alex , he rejoined the party .

With El’Anor , he talked about her job and if she was content with her life among the humans .

She laughed when he asked about her life among his species and told him that humans could be devoted to a single thing if they wanted , considering the many suitors that she had .

If she were to make an evaluation on the fact that they didn’t give up , she was confident that humans could go far if they weren’t distracted , and she laughed.

Alex started to worry and asked if her life was interrupted by this .

She stated that the Nexus offered enough protection for them not to worry about it .

Most of her species actually enjoyed it at some level and if they went too far , they had methods to handle it .

With Jack , he had to explain who Da’grass was and how he could have made that evaluation of Helena , so he had to introduce him while asking not to tell others except those at the party .

Cathy just asked if she could hire more people for the game development and promised him a gift when the babies would be born .

After talking to everybody , he searched for Helena and saw she was talking with Mary and rejoined the party .

The party lasted well into the night until John decided to leave .

After congratulating the couple again , he told them that if he wished for work to be done , he had to do so himself and thanked them for the invitation .

“It’s not like I could get pregnant twice , but can you ask Da’grass if he could do something about it ?” asked Helena .

“I can do something about it so you could have sex without worrying about getting pregnant” answered Da’grass .

Which of you I need to fix , or do I do it to both of you ?

“Fix Alex , no need to worry about me” answered Helena .

“Hey , don’t get I a say in this?” asked Alex.

They stayed like this for a long time , watching movies and just enjoying each other company .
