Sam noticed it and murmured that he was going for a dip in the pool and left them alone .

Alex looked at Helena and said “I’m afraid I am going to ruin what we have”.

Alex leaned over and kissed her on her lips and afterwards Helena laid her head on his shoulder and they kept watching the movie in silence .

After an hour or so Sam went back into the house and they kept watching movies until the moment arrived that it was time to log out and go back to reality.

Seeing Sam and Helena out of the house Helena kissed him on the cheek and told him until next time and with a spring in her step she walked to the car.

Sam told him that if he broke his sister he would break his nose at which Alex answered that he would do almost anything to prevent that.

For the rest of the week Alex and Helena changed numerous text messages at evening and during the day he read books went swimming and watched tv.

He was also notified by Da’grass that an intergalactic cargo ship had delivered the colony builder by a nearby star and it would be arriving on it’s own in the next couple of days and start construction .

All according to his wishes to be undetected for as long as possible , Da’grass would manipulate data from satellites and other if necessary .

On Sunday , their day off , Sam and Helena came by to spend time with Alex in the Nexus.

Sam made it a habit about to leave the fresh couple to their own devices on their first day in the Nexus ,excusing himself by saying he was checking up on the brewery and bar while enjoying some downtime .

Five weeks had passed since they became a couple .

On their last day in the Nexus Helena told Alex that their work was nearing its end.

Now that things were slowing down for them , their mother wanted to see him.

The first batches should be received within a week so their mother had reserved a table in a fancy restaurant 3 days from now.

She wouldn’t be relying on Sam and Helena as much as she had the last few weeks so they would have more free time .

“Send me the time and place and I’ll be there” said Alex .

I’m happy we can spend more time together from now on.

Sam said “Our mother also told us that the first vr cabins she gets her hands on is for her and all of us .

And that we don’t have to pay for them , like it still matters” .

“That’s mighty kind of her” said Alex .

If we ever wanted to stay longer in the Nexus than now the vr cabins can give us that option .

“We’ll have a day at most before sales begin” said Helena .

They want to distribute it among the population as soon as possible and I haven’t got a clue why they don’t follow normal marketing procedures.

Maybe they noticed something while testing the equipment but if it’s the credits increasing after scanning something you would think they would keep it for themselves as long as possible .

“They didn’t say anything about it on the news either but since we have released those technologies the politicians are working for their pay and have a lot of sleepless nights” said Sam .

“Yeah , it seems we didn’t really think it trough” said Alex .

It was a good exercise before everyone gets access to the mall , at least we didn’t buy weapons like others probably will do .

After arriving at the world Capitol building Alex went to the nearest government core and gave it’s command while paying the credits.

Once logged out Sam and Helena told him that they would see him on Wednesday .
