At 22.15 hrs he finally heard a car driving up his driveway and went to opening the door.

After greeting each other the went to the kitchen and started explaining why they were so late.

Sam and Helena tried comforting their mom with talk about their investment with Alex and how they were rich if they ever cashed in.

This brought the idea that she would start her own business selling vr equipment so they were searching at the costs of a shop and contacts of manufacturers .

She even wanted to hire her friends at work who were also fired but she didn’t know how much they earned through their investments.

She wanted Sam and Helena to ask Alex how much she had to work with but she could wait until they came back from Alex for the information.

Alex reassured them that they even could build a chain if they could wait for a few more days but he did say that it wasn’t a bad decision to hop on the wagon as soon as possible.

At this point Alex told them about the education course he had downloaded in his brain and that it eclipsed modern education at school without effort.

They weren’t to happy to be out again but they figured it would be only positive for them even if they didn’t get any certificate that they had the knowledge acquired.

Sam suggested to take a test on the internet afterwards but Alex told him that if he wanted a certified degree he would have to take classes at a proper school.

Alex did tell them that it would be recorded on their Nexus account so as far as the Nexus was concerned they had a degree.

This put a smile on both Sam and Helena’s face.

After talking some more but without telling them what he bought and was planning on Mars they prepared themselves and went to the bathrooms.

They were surprised he didn’t need them to inject with nanites anymore and Helena locked the door.

Alex told Sam to keep his unlocked in case he needed to go to the bathroom at which Sam smiled.

After some time passed Alex asked if they were ready and gave the order to Da’grass to start.

So for the next two days Alex was playing games on the pc and watching tv just like last time.

At 21.05 hrs Da’grass informed him that they would wake up soon and he started to make a late dinner.

It was a close call like Alex but nobody was covered in feces this time at which they were relieved.

During dinner Alex asked if it was ok to wire over the money tomorrow evening at which they had no objection.

He also told them that it was best to already search multiple locations and start with their plans as soon as they came home because there would be serious competition.

He also instructed Da’grass to help them as much as possible online if he could without being noticed at which Sam and Helena were grateful.

Sam remarked that they didn’t even had a chance with playing a vr game themselves and now were going to sell the equipment necessary .

Alex told them that this ship had probably sailed now that companies were already researching the technology , they couldn’t take the risk to get caught inside a game for which no equipment should be available.

Da’grass told them that while the games were available since the moment they got their equipment the real game only started when they were connected with the rest of the universe.

Night and day flew by and he wired 240 million to both his and Helena’s account keeping 400 million on the stock market.

The stock market was very active since the release of the technologies and he reaped the benefits.

After a while Sam send a message telling him that their mother fainted while seeing the amount on their bank account and Helena was helping their mother to get back on her feet .

After the third day of sightseeing he ordered Da’grass to stop playing the stock market and cash in .

He put 1.5 billion on a Swiss bank account and 100 million on his regular account which now boosted almost 340 million.

He wired 1.6 billion to Helena’s account and instructed her to transfer the unneeded funds to a Swiss bank account .

That evening while he was laying in his room Da’grass told him that the first human had entered the game Eternal Fantasy which took Alex by surprise because it was only 20 days since the vr technology was released.

Da’grass told him it wasn’t likely according to his estimates but possible since they had all the designs needed and probably the power to back it up.

Alex forwarded the company’s name to Sam and Helena with the message that they entered the vr world as first and that they may think about it to contact them for supplies once their stores are up and running.

If you throw money at the project it could be build in 2.5 years Alex but that will increase expenses by a considerate amount.

Why do you want to build a city anyway Alex , it would have been sufficient for you to build a few houses.

I’m not going to live like a hermit Da’grass , people are social beings most don’t do well at long times without human contact .

Here or on Mars , I’m not going to be alone for as long as I live .
