A few days ago before Jain had visited the king's right hand man and made the report, he had once again visited the dungeon of legends in hope of getting back the broken platinum sword he had left behind because he had forgotten it.
The sword wasn't worth much in actual value , but sentimentally it meant a lot to Jain as it was the sword of his diseased father so he hated discarding something that important to him in a place like that. He had been thinking of burying it next to his parents graves or better yet , remake the sword's broken blade.
Jain came in sight with the familiar large dungeon entrance ,this time around there wasn't that unwelcoming feeling or threatening aura which had made them before slightly feel like they were walking into their doom. Jain had gained some sort of power , and he was confident in it so he was sure he could handle whatever surprise the dungeon could throw at him.
Just after a few minutes in the dungeon Jain was entering the dungeon -
Wham !
Jain's head hit against something of similar size , repelling both him and the object. Jain's head stung a bit from where he had bumped against the object.
" Ouch..what was that? "
Jain hadn't actually seen what he exactly bumped against. He had a flame torch on his hands , but he was planning on lighting it after he got deeper inside so the dungeon was slightly pitch black.
Jain heard a squeal afterwards , coming from inside the dungeon.
" Gyaaah !! my head feels like I hit a metal wall , don't you watch where you're going ?! "
Jain didn't know from who it came from ,but he somehow was provoked as the blame was pointed to him.
" Don't I watch where I am going ? What about you who didn't even bother telling me I was in the way ! "
" Shut up , you owe me 60 silver coins so I can visit the hospital before I get an internal head bleeding - if I don't have one already ! "
" No ways am I doing that , this is your fault not mine ! And I don't think it's that bad. Let me see. "
Immediately after Jain said that ,the voice from the other person died down. The sound of approaching footsteps followed after ,which were considerably quite near.
First to come to vision were his feet and legs which were dressed in well-made good looking military boots and tight jeans held by an equally remarkable belt. Then followed the chest and arms ; the chest was covered by an also quality looking T-shirt , with an expensive looking chest plate and hexagonal shoulder pieces holding the entire thing together.
The arms themselves weren't protected by much , except for two wrist bracelets which almost stretched out to reach his arm joints. Then finally the face :
The person had brown hair , which had bangs divided down his forehead in an unruly fashion. The most strikingly attention-grabbing things in all of that were the pair of light blue eyes , which looked at Jain back - accompanied by a curved smile and a childish look.
" What's up mate ? "
" Eh.... "
Jain found himself almost unable to speak ,this person definitely did not belong here. The person was a 'he' , evident of the flat chest and manly voice. The voice was slightly manly , but the body wasn't. The person completely looked like a male lolicon with just a bit of muscle , which was what got Jain a little bit speechless.
" Wait......... You aren't from around here are you? "
That was all Jain managed to say , the person had kept on staring at him widely smiling so it had felt creepily uncomfortable so Jain decided to say something random.
" That's right mate , you've got good eyes. I'll give you that "
Jain cleared his throat, looking at the guy's head.
" Wait , your head completely looks fine. "
" Fufu... "
" You were trying to exploit me weren't you?! "
" Don't worry ,we'll talk about this. "
Jain faked an annoyed expression.
" Tch , there's nothing to talk about you filthy liar ! "
The person was unfazed by this , and the smile only slightly faded.
" Fufufu , there's a lot to talk about. Firstly about that other guy I found lying here. He's still alive but I don't think he will be able to get out of here because he looks a bit.. coocoo. "
𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒈𝒖𝒚?
Jain frowned. Not much information about this dungeon had been shared to the public yet, just that it was difficult and had gotten cleared so there shouldn't have been anyone to approach it recklessly , the person in front of him was a foreigner for sure so he was an exception.
Unless it wasn't anyone who entered it but someone who was already inside it to begin with.
" Hindriad ! "
Jain shouted in realization, Hindriad was the only person he and the others hadn't returned with , and was classified missing since Jain didn't manage to kill him
What if he was alive all this time ?
" Hindriad , That's the guy's name? "
Jain gave a reply in the form of a nod.
" Take me to him. "

The dungeon was strongly lit by a strange device which was cylindrical at it's base which stretched out for 15cm before reshaping into a cone with a crystal in the middle , Jain had never seen such a device before and of course the device was carried by the foreigner - Shawn.
That's what he said his name was and explained how he got here by orders to investigate phenomena that happened in this dungeon and had been staying at an inn , he said he belonged in a neighbouring continent called Azania.
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
After their raid - apparently, based on Shawn's words - large amounts of foreign energy were released in an omnidirectional thin wave. Azania had intercepted them and traced them here to his dungeon. Shawn maintained a serious face while telling him so he couldn't be lying, Jain didn't feel like he was lying anyways.
" Woah. I think I'll take you to the ruler of this continent , she ought to know something about it. "
Jain said that in reply, and no more words were spoken as Jain followed Shawn's lead to Hindriad.
" Here we are. "
Shawn said in a low voice.
Jain looked around , and instantly recognized the place.
𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒐𝒔𝒔' 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓.. 𝒐𝒇 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 !
Where else would Hindriad be except where Jain left him. Shawn had said "the other guy" instead of mentioning the word "monster" which undoubtedly meant that Hindriad was back to his normal self by that reasoning.
Jain's guess was true , because after they got deeper into the chamber, Jain saw a man sprawled with his back leaning against the same wall Jain had previously left him on.
Jain back then had been planning on murdering the monster which had reign over Hindriad's body at the time, but the Queen had tried to flee and in the heat of the moment Jain prioritized getting rid of it than the monster that took over Hindriad's body.
The monster-fication must have worn off after Jain defeated the Queen just like how the poison deteriorated from Misha and Barbra's blood system.
Jain had completely forgot about him.
" Hmmm..... "
Jain muttered to himself as he got nearer to the seemingly unconscious Hindriad, Shawn stood back but still lit them with the long device which had a round glass object in its front protected by a circular structure as it emitted light.
Jain started poking the man's forehead lightly , he still didn't hadn't known how to control his powers so a little mistake would get the man's head squished.
" Wake up , wake up , wake up. "
Jain continued to poke him, and after what felt like forever Jain saw Hindriad's eye lid twitch.
Subconsciously, Jain looked at his body to check his physical condition. What he saw made him literally jump back in terror and shock.
" Ha !!! And I have been standing near him that closely. "
Jain wanted so badly to bleach his eyes , but he wasn't sure even that would get the image out of his head. For what he saw was a cucumber with two grapes dangling from the side.
Hindriad was naked.
" Is ...am I in heaven? "
Jain heard Hindriad mutter as in a hallucination.
If it weren't for the fresh trauma , Jain would have found it funny how he mistook this place for heaven. The strange device Shawn held lit the dungeon real well, probably convincing the man to think he was in heaven.
Jain turned his head to look at Shawn , who was seemingly amused by the situation.
" Why didn't you cover him up or something?! "
Jain asked.
" Cover him up? He isn't my problem. And there was no way I was going near him while he was like that. "
" Tch. "
Jain slightly regretted asking Shawn to take him to Hindriad but the damage was already done and he probably would have to go to two months of therapy to erase the image from his head.
Jain sighed , walking near Hindriad - with caution not to look at his bottom just his face.
" Stand up , and this isn't heaven. "
Hindriad unquestionably followed the orders , standing on his two feet. He still hadn't realized he was naked.
𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒂 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 , 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒃𝒆 𝒏𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒊𝒕
It was not until Jain threw a rag he found on the floor - the remains of Hindriad's shirt at him that he finally and quickly covered his private area.
" Heh... "
Hindriad mumbled in embarrassment.
" I give my greatest apology , supreme one. "
The bright light must have prevented Hindriad from fully recognizing Jain , which was why he was mumbling foolish thingd.
Jain wanted so badly to smack some sense into the man , but that would inevitably lead to his death so he could only scream internally and calmly guide the man to the truth like the God he thought he was.
" Supreme one ? I am not God.. I am Jain , the hunter you accompanied to the dungeon raid. "
" Jain....Jain who ? "
Jain wanted to facepalm himself right at that moment, the man didn't seem to even remember him.
𝑵𝒐 𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒅 , 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝑰 𝒉𝒊𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅 ? 𝑰 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑰 𝒂𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒕.
Jain looked at Shawn and signaled him to lower the brightness, he had seen him increase it once in the dungeon so it was possible for the opposite to happen too.
Shawn got the message and lowered it enough for Hindriad to get a good look of the person who was in front of him.
Hindriad closed his eyes halfway to thoroughly look at Jain - as if looking at a really small object.
Immediately after noticing who Jain actually was - himself and not some sort of benevolent god, the dull scream of a man made its way out of Hindriad's mouth.
" Gyahhhhh ! Don't kill me yet , God of Death! "
" Eh. God of Death? "
Jain watched as the Man pathetically shivered, kneeling and begging for his life. He hadn't known he put that much of a scare into him during their previous fight
" It's alright, I won't kill you. "
" You won't ? Can I trust your word ?"
The tears that were beginning to form on the man's eyes quickly faded back.
𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒉.. 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒖𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒔𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒍𝒆𝒇𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒎𝒆 , 𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒅 𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒏𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒊𝒕.
" I mean, if you want me to kill you then I can get the job done. "
Jain replied with a smirk.
" WHAT?! of course not ! "
Jain laughed to himself , seeing the man in this pitiful state was enough to enrich his mood and forgive him for exposing him to his nudity.
*
10 minutes after , Jain began the search for the sword he had initially came to get.
With the extra help , he was able to get it in no time.
They returned back to the city square to get Hindriad some proper clothes , where Hindriad had mentioned nonsense about becoming Jain's loyal servant and changing his name because of wanting to leave his lifestyle behind him. Jain had dismissed that rubbish he was spouting as a result of a serious concussion to the head.
Ever since then , Hindriad had been annoyingly living with Jain pestering him by even going as far as to call him 'Master' , he lived quite very far and had no choice but to crash at his place along with a certain foreigner.
When visiting the king's right hand man ,he had left him behind with Shawn to babysit Elizabeth - his little sister.
Shawn with his carefree and lazy personality and with Hindriad and his overwhelming personality , Jain could only hope he would come back to the house in one piece.

With awkwardness and tension - Vin drank the tea the maids had given him..
Right now , there was only he and the lovely mistress in the room. A maid was standing not so far from the room , carrying hot tea in a lovely tea pot to refill for anyone who requested it.
It had been 12 minutes since Jain abruptly left and the room was covered in near silence , only the slurping sounds Vincent nervously made as he drank his tea could be heard.
Never in his life had he imagined that he would be in the same room with the continent's ruler, the king's right hand man so he naturally wasn't at ease as a single mistake could cost him.
He didn't know what to say so he naturally kept quiet, stealing glances at her occasionally to find that she was amusingly staring right back at him and then awkwardly moved his eyes all over the place.
Vin heard the sound of a tea cup being placed on a tray , in that instant he knew that the mistress had finished drinking her tea. Vin subconsciously looked at her , perhaps to confirm his hypothesis which had been true.
This time around , she wasn't staring at him but rather at a huge picture of a piano hanged on the wall.
" So Vincent, after arriving in Azania , what exactly are you going to do? "
Vin heard her say.
The lovely mistress was still staring at the picture , perhaps to put Vin at ease.
" Well, to be honest I don't quite know. I don't even know much about the place. "
Vin was staring at her , that nervousness had been reduced to a minimum now that she wasn't staring at him.
He could see the corner of her lips twitch and form a smile.
" Just as expected , you guys will be the death of me. You'll make me seem like an irresponsible ruler too. Alright , I've got a plan for you. Would you like to hear it ? "
Vincent nodded.
" Yes, please. "
" Listen , I'm going to sign you up to one of the best magic schools in Azania , don't worry about the details I'll prepare the paperwork. I expect big things from you , I know you have a unique talent in magic Vincent , which Is why I'm letting you go , I'll be relying on you to improve the image of Voz overseas, show them what the mages here are made of "
Vin was amazed and beyond thankful for the opportunity.
"I am beyond thankful for th- "
Creak -k -k
The sound of the room's door opening cut Vincent's sentence in half, everyone including the maids turned their heads to face the door.
Three individuals made an appearance after the door was fully open ; a young-looking man, Jain, and next to him someone who had a pair of blue eyes and brown hair.
