Mel was scared, there was no way that they could fight such a monster the damned thing was the size of an airliner and had easily booted their strongest member into the side of a cliff. They were absolutely doomed.
She decided she was not dying here, fuck whatever the Authority instructed, this was certain death over the uncertainty of just surviving this situation. And right now she would choose survival. She did feel a bit of shame in leaving the others behind, apart from Olga that was. That crazy woman had done some insane shit back on Earth, she could tell and with that threat hanging over her head she did not dare to make the wrong move. Until now that is.
That monster of a person had to have felt that kick, even if she was not down it should take her some time to get back in the fight.
Using the others as a distraction she ran into the closest tree line before trying to find her way back to where they had started from on this floor.
Moving sneakily, before starting into a full sprint using her superhuman speed she managed to get about fifty meters into the forest before she ran into a problem. She froze in place.
That damned Crystal Bear was there.
Standing on its hind legs and scratching on a very very large tree, luckily for her it was using its many eyes inefficiently as they all were focused on its task.
Mel slowly backed away in the direction of the battlefield, she would have to back out of the forest and then move through another part of the tree line.
Reaching the battlefield, she was in time to see Robin and that annoying man sent into the forest by a powerful slam from the giant. They were monsters for being able to survive that. Seriously was it only her and the brat that were somewhat normal here? She knew they were all superhuman now, but the physical abilities of those three were off the charts from the very start.
Now she thought about it Damon just had high toughness but the scarf girl and giantess were the true monsters.
This was her chance with the creature being distracted by Finch’s attacks. She decided to waste no time and speeding for the tree line. As she got halfway there a sudden boom caught her attention, she could not help but turn her head to glance behind her.
She had been noticed, the skeleton was gaining on her. Shit shit shit.
The damned thing was much faster than she had expected, pulling out her Artifact she aimed for the left eye behind the helmeted head. Her shot landed true briefly snapping its large head back before it continued the chase like nothing happened.

The monster`s giant feet were right behind her now and she screamed in fright as it threw its arm back.
So this was how she was to die, she supposed it was deserved. She closed her eyes in acceptance as she felt the displacement of air from the swing.
BOOM!
The surroundings shook violently, and she found herself in the air before tumbling head over heels on the ground moments later.
She came to a stop, raising her head in confusion, did the giant miss?
Her eyes came up to witness the transformed figure of Robin holding onto the arm that she was confident would have ended her life.
The woman turned to look at her, a terrifying grin on her face, her eyes were red and her sclera was black. Combined with the knife sized claws, she had a positively horrifying presence.
“You okay?” Robin’s voice had taken on a slight echo.
“Y-yeah I am fine.” She was not fine, she was more frightened than she had ever been in her life. She had no idea why but something about that transformation put her on edge. Almost like she was on the verge of being consumed which did not seem right considering that the woman in front of her had just saved her life.
“Then help us out.”
----------------------------------------
Tisha was still unsure why she had helped the woman but she felt like she was getting closer to the truth. She felt like Mel had something to do, she could not die yet. This was something that came from her being. Tisha felt that maybe like Olga she herself had something to find in this world, something related to that feeling she was getting with Mel.
But she realized something. It was not just Mel she gained this feeling from. It was from everyone, Olga the most. However, she did not react to Olga the way she did Mel because Olga was easily capable of taking care of herself. Again, she knew this was not empathy or a simple willingness to help them. If Mel did die, she realized that it would not affect her the same way it would Damon or Finch even though they had all just met. They would still feel sad in a very…human way. She would feel sad too, but she knew it was not the same.
The Skeleton moved, shaking her out of her thoughts.
Neuter Sensation
The Orb flashed creating the white haze all over the Skeleton, she used the opportunity to get some distance from it as it began to trash around in hopes of hitting her.
Unfortunately, it did not last nearly as long as it did on the normal Skeleton Warriors or Swordsmen.
Just as it ran out however, she saw Olga above the creature having jumped in out of nowhere a giant nail in her hand as she slammed it on the helmeted skull managing to pierce it and doing some damage to its head.
The skeleton shook its head throwing her off, but she made sure to position herself as to be flung towards Robin and Mel.
As the large woman landed, Tisha noticed Mel shrink a little and move closer to herself.
“Good job saving blondie over ere, not that I care what would have happened `sidering how she was clearly about ta run.” The woman remarked smiling widely.
“Now is not the time Olga, even for you this would be a very tough battle.”
“Robin is correct.” Came the supporting comment from Damon as he caught up, Finch following behind him.
The woman shrugged her shoulders uncaringly turning towards their current challenge. She smacked her right fist into her left palm.
Her surroundings twisted slightly as she brought her Varos out.
“Ya sent me flying, so I gotta do the same ya know?”
Tisha was skeptical. That thing had to weigh in the hundreds of tonnes, she doubted even Olga was capable of throwing something of that mass around… That was unless…
The skeleton formed a lance on both arms before charging at them, ground shaking as it went.
