They were arguing again, Damon and Mel that is.
“You really could not be more careful with your attacks? Some of those just barely missed me!”
“Look you just had to be more careful you kept stepping in front of me.” She replied indignantly.
“That would not have happened if you were communicating more about where you are shooting, not to mention you did not hesitate. On top of that you do not even bother warning Finch when he is in danger of being attacked from unseen positions,”
“I did not need to, he knew already. Besides neither of you are perfect either.” She countered.
“You can not assume that in dangerous situations like that. And the point is not that we are perfe-” He sighed as he face palmed.
“Alright that is enough from ya both.” Interrupted Olga. “That being said I agree with baldy ere. The others have their own issues to work on. We all do, specially that teamwork of ours.”
“However, ya are working directly against ya allies with ya selfishness, if ya aim that thing wrong it’s lethal to some of us here.”
Emphasis on ‘some’, Tisha thought, regarding Olga.
Mel scoffed.
“My allies? Apart from you we don’t even know each other’s real names. That is if your name is even your real one to begin with.”
“I showed you my Soul Map.”
“And it was clearly modified to not show everything, we did not see your abilities. The fact is, we barely know each other. None of us but you are here voluntarily. Anyone of course could betray each other to save their skin at any moment. And you expect me to put my well being on the line for any of you? Delusional.” She ended her jumbled rant.
The hall was silent for a moment as Olga took a deep breath looking up.
“Alright, I understand. Ya are being cautious because ya don’t know everyone here.” Then she stared directly into Mel’s eyes a threatening aura leaking out. “But, if ya end up hitting one of us with ya careless attacks. I’ll kill ya. Consider this ya one and only warning.”

The threat was not a bluff, everyone could feel it in the air. A promise that came from experience. Olga had killed before and would kill again. Tisha had sensed it from the beginning but maybe she had underestimated her. This woman was indeed very dangerous.
Mel paled under the pressure and fell to her knees, nodding profusely.
“Good, we’re moving.” As if it never happened the aura was gone.
With the help of Olga pretty much every group of Knights which apparently made up the majority of the second floor were easily decimated.
Mel was a lot more subdued in her attacks, taking only incredibly safe shots which would be seen as an improvement if it wasn’t for the fact that she was being even less opportunistic in her attacks than Finch was.
Tisha took it upon herself to fight a Knight on her own every once in a while and found improvement in doing so. Each fight was easier and gave her more confidence in her strength and skill. Her new ability helped immensely as well.
[Toughness rank up G to G+]
[Varos level rank up G to G+]
She gained ranks in Toughness from blocking powerful attacks physically on occasion and just like with her Varos the use of her Orb increased her Varos level. She could feel her Varos reserve grow within her. Yet again she felt like she knew this feeling and had no way to place where she felt familiarity.
Both Damon and Finch had also gained ranks in varying attributes, Mel however had fallen behind somewhat.
On top of her great strength, Olga was now constantly using her Artifact, the giant Nails gave her far more lethality in her attacks.
She could pin down enemy body parts making them easier to deal with and could throw them to hit enemies from a decent range with her incredibly high physical strength. Her repeated use it seemed eventually gave her a new ability.
When Tisha asked however, all Olga did was, put a finger to her smug lips. Seemed she wanted to keep it under wraps for now.
With the complete decimation of floor two thanks to Olga the group was well on their way to the next floor.
As they made their way to the large double doors at the end of the hall Tisha could not help but glance at Mel’s sullen face.
She was not one to feel bad for others when put in situations they caused themselves, in fact she agreed with Olga. Mel needed to stop being selfish in how she acted and work with the others so that they could achieve their goal. She was not easily moved into being worried about another person, but something drew her towards this situation.
She was sure it was not out of sympathy at least not sympathy towards the threat given by Olga, and she knew, it was not normal to feel nothing about such a heavy thing. Tisha, no her entire family, was not normal. She had realized that at an early age.
Sighing as they reached the entrance to the next floor she glanced upwards in anticipation of what was to come as Olga’s hands pushed the doors aside.
