Chapter 8 Losing His Winstreak

Chapter 8 Losing His Winstreak

Kairos then walked to the stage with lots of gazes that is fixed on his figure. Some of the girls looked at him, full of stars in their eyes, since Kairos had the face and figure that made him stand out.

Arthur looked at him, filled with curiosity about what his level was since he was acting so mysterious toward him.

Seeing the appearance of a handsome student, everyone looked at 'The Oracle of Gossip', waiting for his introduction. Seeing their expectant gaze, he smiled and spoke.

"His name is Kairos Evernight. He's currently 17 years old. He has a little sister named Sophia Evernight. Her sister was beautiful and talented and was already in the 6th stage of Body Refinement. Sadly, for this brother his level reached the 3rd stage in his 11th grade. But after 1 year, his cultivation didn't improve anymore, making him stuck at the 3rd stage for now," The Oracle of Gossip relayed to the crowd.

The students were saddened by this news. He was handsome, but sadly, his blessing wasn't good enough. But they complimented his sister, hearing that she was at the 6th stage, clearly showing that he was a prodigy, nonetheless.

Kairos just furrowed his brows in surprise, "Don't tell me that title is actually given to him because he really has the skills. Damn, even my sister's info can't escape his grasp," he said inwardly.

"Mr. Oracle, can you tell me what underwear those three girls over there are wearing?" a student said, as he pointed at the three beautiful female students who were stunned by the sudden question.

"Oh, that my fellow classmates. The girls you were pointing at are the three beauties in volleyball, right? If I'm right they are currently in the 11th grade, if I'm not wrong that is."

"The panties Cyrin Buni was wearing right now are pink with a cute panda face in its front. Yesterday she was wearing a blue striped one, but there seems to be blood on it. And when she saw that she was having her period, she quickly went to the bathroom afraid of being spotted. She then cautiously applied a sanitary pad while observing her surroundings in the bathroom to see if anyone was coming in. She then put the bloodied panty in her pocket, as she took another panty from her pocket, a Finetoo Ice Silk Panties Seamless Underwear with an Antibacterial Sexy Hip Lift. She wore this around 10:34 in the morning," he stated, storing the details even the time can't escape his grasps.

"For the girl with blue hair named Zya, what she wears is a Victoria's Secret Lacie Panties Low Rise Cheekini. It's really good to look at. But yesterday she was wearing a Frill Trim Satin Underwear. Its key features include a soft and skin-friendly fabric, with no stretch, an elastic waist, frilled and ruffle trim. It was perfect for everyday wear, home, sleepwear, and loungewear. For the specifications, it was red in small sizes," he stated like a professional.

"And finally, Kexera Rama is wearing—" He did not finish his words when suddenly.

WHAM!

A flying book was hurled with the force of a thousand angry gods, collided directly with the Oracle’s forehead, cutting his words short. The students erupted into chaos.

Cyrin, Zya, and Kexera, all with faces redder than the emergency fire extinguisher on the wall, leapt from their spots like athletes at the start of a race.

"You perverted FREAK!" Cyrin yelled, while Zya and Kexera looked like they were ready to lead a full-on revolt.

The three of them charged at him full of madness in their eyes, making everyone else scoot back as far as possible to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.

But before they could reach him, a few brave (or stupid) classmates jumped in to prevent the Oracle from being beaten into a pulp.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

"Woah, woah! Let’s not kill him in front of the teacher!" one of them shouted, earning glares from the girls.

Meanwhile, the Oracle Of Gossip was rubbing his forehead where the book made contact, he was completely unfazed. He stood up, pushed his glasses back onto his nose, and said, "I was simply answering the question. Knowledge is power, after all."

The boys on the other hand, were losing their minds in the back row. They stared at the Oracle with wide eyes, some of them giving him slow, impressed claps.

"Great Oracle, how do you even know this stuff?" one whispered.

The Oracle simply smiled like a wise sage who had ascended beyond the need for such trivial human understanding.

The girls? They didn't care for his 'sage' smile at all, what they saw is a perverted smile.

"You're dead after class!" Kexera growled, cracking her knuckles while the other two nodded in unison.

They couldn't believe it. He even knew the brand of the panty and the exact time she wore it. They never thought that this was actually possible.

"Brother, no, Master Oracle, please accept us as your disciple," more than three students said, filled with praise as they bowed to him.

"Don't bow, my classmates. This master is currently not accepting disciples because of some matters. I'll teach you these skills after you pass the requirements," he said while caressing his beard, even though he had none.

All of the students' eyes shone like stars as they bowed and danced like an air puppets moving through the wind. The adjudicator and the teacher, seeing this couldn't help but twitch their lips at how powerful and knowledgeable this student was.

Even they were afraid of offending him, so scared that their darkest secrets would be exposed.

"Show me your cultivation level," the adjudicator instructed, looking at Kairos.

Kairos nodded his head and took a stance, releasing his cultivation level. This made the instructor nodded his head. Even his teacher, Alyana, and the rest of the students were shocked. They all looked at the Oracle of Gossip with disbelief on their faces.

"The Oracle of Gossip was wrong! This is impossible!" the student exclaimed in shock.

"No way! The Oracle of Gossip actually lost his win streak!" another student added, with a disbelief expression.

"This is impossible!" Jhonas who was renowned as the Oracle of Gossip, exclaimed with wide eyes. He was in utter disbelief.

His intuition and data about people were never wrong! How come he suddenly reached the 7th stage when he was just at the 3rd stage? He racked his mind, and an idea emerged.

"Did he reach the 7th stage in just two days?" he thought inwardly.

"But that's impossible! Even those prodigies and geniuses can't achieve that!" he said, shocked, not knowing the answer.

"Student, go ahead and stand over there," the adjudicator uttered, as he looked at the Oracle of Gossip with a pursed of his lips.

Now that his words had become a little more untrustworthy, but still he was good when it comes to other things. The adjudicator thought inwardly on his mind.

Arthur, his classmate for four years, looked at his best friend for the first time and saw him stand out.

"The 7th stage? I never knew he was this talented," Arthur said with praise, as he looked at Kairos in a daze.

Seeing the expression of disbelief in the student renowned for being 'The Oracle of Gossip' Kairos couldn't help but arch a smile, as he stood with those who passed.

"Even my family doesn't know about this. It's impossible for you to dig deeper into my personal data," Kairos spoked inwardly, with a chuckle.

Behind him, his female classmate Ishnehaya, gazed at him with a curious look. What Jhonas said was true, since she could sense that Kairos, her classmate, was in the 3rd stage just 2-3 days ago.

Even though she was cold and didn't let anyone approach her, it didn't mean she didn't observe her classmates. This made her also curious about how Kairos had hidden his cultivation level so deeply.

Finally, the students' examinations were done. Sadly, for Arthur he didn't pass since he was only at the 6th stage of body refinement. He could only look up to Kairos, his best friend with a smile. Of course, he was happy for his friend.

Kairos looked at him smugly, making Arthur smile awkwardly. But deep inside, he was still happy and never jealous.

"Now that it's done, let's go to the stadium for the battle," the adjudicator spoke, as he checked the list of passers.

For a total of 232 students, both in the 11th and 12th grade, there were about 9 passers in the 11th grade, while for the 12th grade, there were around 32. A total of 41. Since they had one year of time to train, so the number of passers was larger.

They then walked out from the gym and made their way towards the stadium. As they arrived, there were lots of students in the seated area, which looked like a football seating area where the seats were in a pattern of stairs.

Kairos and the rest of the passers were below the high platform that's a circle high area, clearly the battle arena.
