As he was sucked through, Kairos fell from the portal, but he stood still with a perfect landing. The portal then closed, and Kairos found himself in a different place.
"So, every time I come back, it transfers me to a different location," he mumbled, looking at his surroundings.
He didn't waste any time and sprinted through the forest. This time, he concealed his presence and did his best to sneak in. He knew how strange and strong the beasts here were.
As he slowed his walk, the familiar tall grassy plain arrived in front of him. This made his eyes light up, for he knew he had arrived at the right place to grind. Getting inside by brushing off the tall grass, this time he made sure that no one would noticed him.
He slowly tiptoed and looked around, afraid that the monster who had killed him without warning would appear again without him knowing. But after a few hours of constantly looking for prey, the mysterious beast did not show itself.
As he was moving and looking for the rabbit, finally, he found one. The rabbit in front of him was the same as the one he had killed, but he forgot one thing.
Yes, he had practiced swordsmanship, but he didn't have a sword with him. So, he had to use his fists to take the beast down. Kairos didn't waste any more time and sprinted towards the rabbit, who was just standing there in a daze.
He got out from his hiding spot, creating a rustling sound. With its keen senses, the rabbit of course heard him.
When Kairos threw a punch, the rabbit quickly dodged by hopping to the side. His fist struck the ground with immense force, it is enough to carry about 7,000 pounds of impact. But the surface didn’t even crack, as if the ground was made of unbreakable metal.
Kairos, who could easily destroy doors and concrete walls with this kind of power, was left puzzled.
The rabbit’s red eyes gleamed as it quickly hopped back toward him, speeding through the air with a sharp whistle. Caught off guard, Kairos instinctively shielded his stomach with his arms.
The rabbit's kick landed with such force that it sent him skidding backward. Using this momentum, the rabbit backflipped off his arms and immediately prepared to attack again.
Kairos estimated that this rabbit was at least at the 6th level of body refinement based on its speed and strength. Regaining his balance, he saw the rabbit rushing at him once more. Without hesitation, he charged forward, throwing a powerful punch.
Their attacks collided and his fist meeting the rabbit's kick, creating a small shockwave that made the air tremble and ruffled Kairos' hair.
Kairos pulled back his fist as the rabbit hopped away, quickly closing in again. He unleashed a barrage of punches, but the rabbit's speed and agility made it almost impossible for him to land a solid hit.
The creature moved with precision, always dodging at the last second.
"If only I had a sword," Kairos muttered with a sigh.
Bracing himself, he stomped on the ground, launching himself forward with incredible speed, closing the gap between them. The rabbit anticipating his move, sidestepped. Kairos responded with a left hook, but the rabbit evaded it effortlessly.

The scene became a blur of motion as man and rabbit engaged in a relentless fight, darting through the open space of the tall grassy plains. Neither of them tried to run since that would be gay, instead, they continued exchanging blows as they ran across the field.
Kairos was beginning to deplete his Aether Energy, but he could still fight for an hour more. The rabbit, however, was clearly slowing down, breathing heavily, its energy running out.
"Just a little more," Kairos grinned, sensing his victory near.
Seizing the moment, Kairos shot forward like a bullet. The rabbit, too exhausted to dodge, couldn't avoid his next strike.
His fist that was hard as a stone, crashed into the rabbit's chest with a bone-crunching force.
The sound of flesh and bones breaking echoed through the air, enough to make anyone’s scalp tingle.
The rabbit was flung like a kicked ball, purple blood spurting from its mouth. Taking advantage of its weakened state, Kairos followed up with an axe kick, tearing through the air and smashing into the rabbit’s body with devastating force.
The rabbit grunted in pain as it hit him, making his back hit the hard ground. The bone snapped, killing him in the process. With sweat dripping from his forehead, Kairos smiled, and after a few seconds, the rabbit puffed into smoke, leaving a single drop behind.
One red and one blue orb appeared in his sight. He absorbed the red orb, giving him a refreshing feeling, then he felt his cultivation increase, leveling him up. Opening his eyes, he smiled.
He had finally reached the 7th stage of body refinement. He kept the blue orb in his consciousness while going back to the grassy plain to hunt more.
After getting inside, Kairos circled the grassy plains for an hour. Finally, he found another open area and saw some rabbits, but this time there were two of them, making him raise an eyebrow.
As he hid in the grassy plain, with only his eyes visible and after sensing their level, he smiled.
Kairos quickly assessed the situation. One rabbit was at the 6th stage of body refinement, and the other at the 5th stage. Knowing he had a good chance, he decided to strike the weaker one first.
Without wasting any time, he leapt forward, closing the distance in an instant. Taking out the smaller one would make it easier to deal with the stronger rabbit.
The weaker rabbit sensed the impending danger and tried to jump away, but it was too late.
Kairos, now wielding 8,000 pounds of force, landed a direct blow to the back of its head. The impact sent the rabbit spinning like a tire, before it vanished in a puff of smoke, leaving behind only a red orb.
The stronger rabbit, witnessing its companion’s death, growled in fury and launched itself at Kairos, throwing a powerful kick.
Kairos just smiled and stood his ground. As the kick came toward him, he countered with a punch.
When the two forces collided, the rabbit's face turned pale. The sheer strength of Kairos's punch pushed it back about ten steps. The rabbit, now wary of its opponent, hesitated.
But Kairos wasn't going to give it a chance to recover, he rushed forward, closing the gap, and threw another punch.
The rabbit, unable to dodge due to Kairos' speed, raised its small hands to block the attack.
Bones cracked under the force of Kairos’ punch, and the rabbit staggered back. Not letting this opportunity slide, Kairos unleashed a relentless barrage of punches, both hands working at lightning speed.
Each hit landed with brutal force, the sound of flesh being pounded echoing loudly. The rabbit's pitiful cries filled the air as it desperately tried to block its head and chest. Kairos then twisted his body, shifting his foot forward for the finishing blow.
With a swing, he hit the rabbit on its right head, sending it flying sideways with a pale face. Kairos then increased his speed, and as the rabbit landed, he finished it off by throwing a barrage of punches on its head.
As it turned into a puff of smoke, he hurriedly gathered the orbs, counting them in his mind palace. He now had two red orbs and only one blue orb.
His grind was going great, so he wanted to continue hunting, but he felt the hair on his body stand on end, as if in a frenzy. Before he could turn around, he felt he lost control of half of his body.
He only noticed that a blade made of wind had passed through him, cutting his body in half, before he passed out.
