Chapter 7 Qualification Test

Chapter 7 Qualification Test

Kairos seeing her teacher could not wait for the test, Alyana then smiled seeing that they were also excited like her.

"Now, now, I know that you are all excited since you have been waiting for this. You already know the requirement is right? Your cultivation level must only be at the 7th stage of body refinement, if not you cannot participate. So now let's go and meet you're Adjudicator since he will be the one to assess you" The teacher said with a clapped of his hand accompanied by her heartily laugh.

Kairos looks at his beautiful teacher and could not help but be dazed. His teacher is really beautiful and he had a crush on her in his 9th grade. She was different from every woman, she's not cold or aloof and his not prideful and always helpful.

This is what made him fall for her, but he removed this idea from his mind, since his teacher and she is his student.

All of them then stood up and left the classroom. Kairos and Arthur were behind the group as they walk through the hallway going down the floor.

"Brother Kai, aren't you feeling nervous? I know that you're still in the 3rd stage, but why are you so calm?" Arthur said, looking at Kairos's calm demeanor.

Kairos just smiled at him and patted his shoulder, while they continued walking.

"Fatty, this brother of yours is destined for greatness. Why would he be afraid of a mere test?" he said coolly.

Arthur looked at him acting cool. He couldn't help but be electrified as he replied.

"Brother, that's so cringe. Maybe being a clown suits you better than being a cultivator," he said, hitting Kairos's waist with his elbow.

"We'll see, Arthur. I will show you what your brother can do," Kairos said, not minding his joke.

"Yeah right, tell that to my face when you pass the qualifications" Arthur replied, seeing him being so confident.

He couldn't help but ponder if his best friend had reached the 7th stage, but that wasn't possible. He knew how mediocre his friend's talent was compared to everyone else. If he had leveled up, it would only be in the 4th-5th stages.

But reaching the 7th? That wasn't possible, since even he, who was more talented than his best friend, hadn't reached the 7th stage.

So, that possibility just passed him by, as they continued their walk. After arriving on the first floor, they walked through the hallway. After leaving the school building, they walked to the path leading to the gym.

Upon arriving at the place, all of them got inside. There were a lot of students, about 200, since only the 11th and 12th grades were allowed to participate. The Adjudicator was on the stage, and there was a line as the students releasing their auras when their names were called.

The program was already arranged, so the name to be called would be the person next in line, to avoid wasting time. Kairos and his group then lined up, when their teacher called them.

Their teacher's name was Alyana Medina. She instructed all of them and adjusted their positions in line according to their names. Since they were the boys, they were place last, and the girls got to show off first.

On the stage, the man who was holding a list shouted the name, "Jakol, come up!" Then a student walked through the stage.

"Show me your level," the adjudicator said, looking at him.

"Yes, sir," The student released his aura, which was at the 7th stage of body refinement.

The Adjudicator nodded and said, "You passed, now go over there," as he pointed at the students who passed their criteria.

The student nodded and then left the stage. Then, after that a student with big muscles walked through the stage when his name was called. He was bald, and his muscles were so ripped, just like that of a bodybuilder.

Seeing this, the Adjudicator furrowed his brows, seeing this big student in front of him. "Show me your cultivation," he stated.

The bald student didn't reply and then showed his cultivation. It was strong and was at the 8th stage of body refinement. The adjudicator nodded with satisfaction, as he pointed to the rest of the students who passed, clearly indicating he had passed.

"Wow, I didn't know that Bryan had reached the 8th stage of body refinement. What a talent he has!" one of the students below the stage said.

"Yeah, just from his figure and aura, it was so scary. Even his talent is even more scary," another student added.

"Do you think he will get first place?" Another student questioned, wondering about it.

"Probably not, since we have lots of classmates who are also talented that had already reached the 8th stage of body refinement. But I heard that in the section St-John, they have a girl there that has reached the 9th stage of body refinement," he said, putting his fingers on his jaw while saying it and thinking about it at the same time.

"Really? A student at the 9th stage? Then she will really have the highest chance to win this tournament," the student exclaimed.

"Yes, she had one of the highest win rates in winning this competition," the student replied, the one who introduced the female in the St-John section.

Teacher Alyana, hearing their surprised and amazed expressions, couldn't help but be proud, since they were her students. Finally, it was their turn, and the girl in Kairos's classroom walked through the stage.

Sadly, her level was only at the 5th stage, while the rest were at the 6th stage. Only a few were at the 7th stage.

"Ishenehaya, come up to the stage," the adjudicator said aloud, reading the list.

The girl then walked onto the stage. Her steps were filled with grace, and her hair fluttered as she walked. The adjudicator seeing her, had a general idea of who she was.

Her family was famous for battle generals. As the youngest miss, she was famous and talented. He had also heard the rumors about this girl reaching the last stage of body refinement.

"Go ahead, young lady," the adjudicator said, anticipating the result.

Ishenehaya didn't waste any more time and released her cultivation level, which shocked the all of the student in gym. Even the adjudicator's eyes glowed with bright light, as his face filled with praise.

"That's awesome for your age, you passed. Go over there, young lady," the adjudicator said with praise, as he pointed at the rest of the students.

Ishenehaya bowed and walked gracefully to the rest of the passed students. The rest of the girls walked through the stage, and only a few passed. Of the 18 females in their classroom, only 3 passed. Now, it was the boys' turn.

The first boy in their class who was called walked onto the platform. He also released his cultivation level, but sadly it was one level behind. For a while more, of the students showed their levels, and finally, it was a student with glasses, with a handsome face, who walked to the stage.

"Show me your level," the adjudicator stated.

The student with the glasses smiled and released his level. Sensing this, the students were again surprised

"The 8th stage of body refinement? Another prodigy!" the student exclaimed in amazement.

"You don't know him? His name is Four-Eyes, and he's the president of St-John. His talent is great, and when it comes to family influence, he's not behind that girl whose last name is Salic," the student who was the one introduced Ishnehaya spoke again.

The students were surprised by his unfathomable knowledge, "How do you know about this?" they asked, feeling skeptical about his words.

Then another student chimed in, who was behind that student stood in, "Don't tell me you dare to not believe his words. Let me tell you, this is 'The Oracle of Gossip', the great Jhonas. He knows everything that is to know about everything," he said, as he pointed at the student who was renowned for knowing even the smallest gossips.

"What he is that guy" Another student who had doubts exclaimed.

"Very sorry for offending you, Oracle of Gossip. Let this junior bow his head for forgiveness," the students said, as Jhonas smiled at them with his head high.

Kairos after seeing this, he couldn't help but look at him speechlessly, "There's even a title for that? Well, that's kinda cool, I guess," he said inwardly.

"Kairos Evernight, come up to the stage," the adjudicator bellowed.
