After reading the notification, Yvlena turned around to the farming patch she had started. It was then she noticed something strange.
The new seeds she had just planted had grown twice as fast. Where there was once a bed of freshly laid seed was now teeming with newly grown herbs and flowers.
She gasped.
"What? Seeds grow faster now," she whispered, walking over to some of the ripe herbs.

"That's amazing, I won't have to worry about herbs as much now, instant growth is such a hack for this Subclass,"
She didn't have any more wild seeds to plant, and would only once she had cleared the surrounding area of foliage. But there wasn't much tall grass left to clean up.
Yvlena had dutifully sheared the grass with her new Harvest Skill. The Manor grounds were looking cleaner with her work, all that was left were the excess of trees that had sprung up in the absence of a Harvest Guardian.
"I'll get them with the axe I still have the staircases to fix and then the docks. Until I fix all these things I don't think I can simply walk out on Bloom Haven.
Yvlena thought about what Soren said, she could always use potions on the lesser enemies but she liked the feel of a weapon in her hand.
Even if it wasn't as strong as the carrot sword.
Yvlena held her hand to her chin and retrieved the Moon Sickle from her inventory.
"This was Rael's wasn't it," she guessed. "But then why did he leave it behind?"
"Maybe it's something for the next Harvest Guardian to find, a sort of rite of passage perhaps?" she said.
"I can't use my usual moves now," She said, "But no use crying over spilled milk I have to push on, besides I'm sure I can get better weapons," Yvlena shrugged.
She would still look out for the plain ores she needed but for now, it wasn't at the top of her list, her summons and the Moon Sickle would have to do for now.
"Going to brew some battle potions and then prepare to take on the creature in the Verdant Lake,"

Wood x70]
"That's a total of 140 pieces of wood in my inventory, so the upper floors need 300 pieces of wood though,"
Yvlena considered it had been a while since she had entered the Rose Manor, how would she learn the secrets of the Harvest Guardian otherwise?
"I still need that silk rag, I have a sneaky suspicion that the open room belonged to Lilian before she moved out to have a family," Yvlena said. Her eyes widened.
"That's why Beatrice was the one who gave out the quest that made you the Harvest Guardian! She literally is one of the only people with the right to keep it,"
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

"I am so good at deductions," Yvlena said puffing out her chest in pride.
After finishing up with the trees for the day, Yvlena stopped to gaze at Rose Manor.
She faced the entrance of the Rose Manor, now completely clear of tall grass and smiled at the hard work it took to achieve this state.
There were no longer any Weed Mimics hiding near that area of the house since Yvlena started aggressively shearing it.
The only problem now was the lack of grass laid bare the unsightly, broken and decrepit exterior of the manor.
Gaps in the walls, wood, and other places. It would take a lot just to restore the exterior.
For now, Yvlena turned her attention to the statues.
The old statues of Vaelindor and Selendriel were free of grass coverings, but Yvlena also needed a rag to clean up the moss and stains that had gathered.
"I need to get back to the spiders to farm more silk threads, or maybe I could..."
She took out the loom she had bought from Madam Pratt and then some fiber from her inventory.
"Here goes nothing," she said running the fiber through the loom the same way she did with the spider silk.

Basic linen (Spool) x1]
"Oh? A spool of linen, could I make a linen rag?" She asked.
She ran some more fiber through the loom and ended up with two more spools of linen.
She clipped the spools together and put them through the loom's wheel which doubled as a weaver.

"Awesome, now let me just wipe away this grime," Yvlena said waking up to the statue of Vaelindor. She began with the bottom, wiping Vaelindor's armored feet until the grass stains were gone.
She moved to the middle, wiping the armor and then the sword he held.

"I could wash it though,"
The elf went over to the shed and got a simple wooden bucket out of storage then filled it with water to wash the rag.

"Easy!"
She continued like that until she had completely wiped the statue of Vaelindor clean, the dirt and moss were gone from every crevice after the thorough wiping she had given.
The linen rag was worn out now, so used that Yvlena had to discard it.
The white stone gleamed in the sun, making Yvlena step back to admire her work.
Vaelindor shined with cleanliness, all that was left to do was clean Selendriel.

Aya walked to the kitchen for a snack. All the manual labor she had done within the game made her back and neck ache the same way it did her character.
"Probably because I didn't sleep well," Aya said. It was then that she noticed a disturbing lack of Mars.
"Huh?" Aya lifted her brow and wondered if Mars was in her room playing something.
She walked closer to the door, listening for any signs of activity, and heard nothing.
"Well it's not like it's strange for her to go out," Aya said still eating her bag of chips. She recalled the way Mars had touched her face the last time that happened.
"Pssh, why am I blushing?" Aya mumbled, crunching more chips between her teeth until she finished the bag.
Aya noticed something out of the window, red and blue lights flashed across the walls prompting Aya to inch closer to the glass pane.
She saw the red and blue of a police car and two officers standing at the foot of the building.
Mars stood talking to them, possibly about the incident that occurred last night.
Aya watched the officers take Mars' statement, knowing they only did that to follow procedures. Nothing would be done about it though, else they would have come up to take her statement too.ll
Aya shook her head sadly, suddenly losing her appetite. She folded the bag of chips for later and returned to her room.
She tried to suppress her bitterness at the situation, there would be no justice for them. Just as there was no justice for her when she called the first time.
"Oh well, back to Moon Valley,”
