As Shane entered his home and locked the door, he suddenly felt like a huge boulder was lifted off his shoulders. He instinctively said "I'm home" before going into kitchen to grab a bite to eat. After he filled his stomach with food, he went upstairs and entered his room.
He took off his uniform and grabbed his laptop on the table to check his feed. As he did so, he was bombareded with posts of wierd looking plants and animals, looking oddly similar to the one he saw on his way home. He continued to scroll down only to see more of these weird things, which only got weirder the further he scrolled down.
With Shane's current expression, a card could possibly hold it's place between his brows. Feeling anxious, he closed his laptop and looked outside of his window. He could see some of the plants giving of a blue or purple glow, attracting fireflies towards their leaves. There were also huge bugs that could be seen on the surface of the dirt, digging holes or looking for food. Some of these bugs also glowed different colors, while some just had huge horns and spiky exoskeleton.
Shane just closed his curtains, trying to calm himself down with words he himself don't even believe.
"They're just bugs, with millions of species associated with them, it ain't wierd for some to glow, or have beefy legs."
Throwing what he just saw to the corner of his brain, he went back down to eat what was left in the fridge before going back up and playing games. When he was about to go to sleep, he tried once more to make a cellphone out of the remaining pieces of his chair.
"Come on, give papa a new phone!"
"Flash!"
The moment the phone materialized, he tried to turn it on.
". . ."
". . ."
"Seriously?" Shane scratched his head in confusion.
Feeling defeated, he tried to open the case of the phone to see what exactly is stopping it from turning on, and then he realized why. The inside of the phone was a jungled mess of wires and pieces of stuff that Shane knew was suposed to be in the phone, but he didn't exactly know where they were placed.
"Yeah, this, this is not a phone"
Not caring anymore, He put the messed up piece of junk too crappy to call a phone inside a drawer beside his bed and called it a night.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
As the moon fell and the sun rose, the atmosphere in the area got cold, colder than what it's supposed to be.
When Shane woke up, he just grabbed the junk phone out of the drawer and thought of something sharp.
"Flash!"
A small knife appeared in his hand, the edge slighly shining from the morning sun's light. He turned it a few times, admiring its pointy tip and sharp edge.
"Nice"
In the corner of his eye, he saw his chair (If you could still call it that) with most of it's parts missing. He thought of an idea and immediately his hand gave off a burst of light as a piece of wood, which matched the chair, appeared in the knife's place. He got out of his bed and tried to fuse the two together, but it didn't work.
'Guess I can't fuse stuff, at least not this way'
On the way to the door, he turned the piece of wood into a ball of marble before placing it down on his drawer. He then went downstairs to get ready before his Mom could do her usual morning routine, which was to wake him up with her soft voice, which confused her a bit, but in the end she was smiling.
"Bye Mom!" Shane waved his hand as he exited the house, thinkinng of ways to ask the girl out so as to keep Clyde's mouth shut.
"Keep out of trouble!" His mom simply replied.
As Shane walked toward his school, he noticed that the plants were more bushier, they were also growing fruits that he couldn't recognize. He was, of course, rightfully creeped out, so he sped up trying to get to his school as fast as his legs can carry him.
"Why is the school not letting us stay home? Are they blind or somethin?"
As he started to see the school buildings, he saw one of his schoolmates that was chatting with her friend accidentally stepping on a dogs tail.
"WooOUUF!"
In pain, the dog let out a sound as it suddenly grew to the size of a bear, with menacing teeth and long sharp claws to boot.
"AAHHHHHH-"
The girls scream were cut short as the dog bit her head.
Blood suddenly gushed out of the girls neck, covering the dogs face in blood.
As the warm bood stained the dogs fur, it suddenly let out a series of loud, monster like barks into the sky, looking as if it was calling to its pack.
At this moment, the force holding the legs of several people suddenly vanished as they started to run and scream.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
Seeing his fellow schoolmates panicking, Shane suddenly ran in a direction where he couldn't see any dogs, trying to get as far away as he can to the maddness occurring before him.
"Whoof! WooUF! WUUF!"
As he ran, he heard the sounds of dogs, or at least they kind of sound like dogs, accompanied with screams and crazed laughter.
"AAAAHHHH! GET AWAY FROM ME!"
"DON'T KILL ME! I'LL GIVE YOU TREATS!"
"HAHHAAHAHAHAA! GO FUCK YOURSELVES YOU MUTTS!"
Shane didn't even need to move his head to know that a bunch of dogs were attacking people. Some of the dogs were extremely fast and agile, some were covered in spikes, there were even some that were shooting flames and acid out of their mouths.
'What the hell what the hell What the HEEEEEEELL!'
Shane screamed in his brain as his eyes bulged out seeing the variety of ways the dogs were attacking. He could even see some cats and rats joining in, with similiarly shocking abilities.
Desperate, he scanned his surroundings and found a trash can in the direction he was running in. He stopped and slapped it on it's side like it stole his box of chocolates.
'Sword!'
His hand released a burst of light as he grabbed the formed sword and ran like his life depended on it.
Which it did!
