"You know, I have a penchant for collecting antiques and enjoying a good spectacle.
This morning, I heard that a drilling team came to Wei Village to drill a hot spring well. Instead of finding a hot spring, they stumbled upon an ancient tomb. The news spread like wildfire.
I rushed over in my car, and by the time I arrived, the police had already cordoned off the area.
The archaeological team was busy excavating, and I stood on the sidelines, watching the commotion.
Seeing the team unearth gold ingots, silver coins, porcelain bottles, and jars, I couldn't help but feel envious. Based on the burial items, I concluded it was a tomb from the Ming Dynasty, resembling an official's tomb.
When the stone coffin was excavated, I noticed a greenish corpse gas emanating from inside out, accompanied by a strong, foul odor.
At that moment, I told the professor leading the archaeological team, the body inside the coffin might have turned into a zombie. It needed to be cremated; otherwise, the consequences could be unimaginable.
The professor didn't believe a word I said. He insisted there were no zombies in this world, accused me of being superstitious, and dismissed my words as nonsense. I was so angry I could've cursed him right then and there," Li Jianyuan said to Chen Yuanshan, still catching his breath.

"Now it seems that the coffin doesn't appear to have any issues," Chen Yuanshan stared at the stone coffin, murmuring to himself.
"The tent has just been set up. The coffin was exposed to the sun before, and any corpse gas and foul smell would have dissipated by now. Indeed, it doesn't seem problematic anymore," Li Jianyuan continued.
Having heard Li Jianyuan's words, Chen Yuanshan intended to cross the police cordon to take a closer look. However, a young police officer stopped him.
"This is an archaeological site, and access is restricted to unrelated personnel. We hope you can cooperate. If you don't, we'll take enforcement measures against you," the young officer warned Chen Yuanshan.
"Who's in charge here?" Chen Yuanshan asked the young officer standing in front of him.
The young officer pointed to the middle-aged policeman at the scene. The middle-aged officer, around forty-seven or forty-eight years old, stood with his hands behind his back, inspecting the antiques unearthed.
"Can you get your supervisor for me? I have something important to tell him. I'd appreciate your help," Chen Yuanshan politely said to the young police officer.
The young officer, noticing Chen Yuanshan's polite tone, nodded and walked into the scene to find their supervisor.
"Director Dong, that old man is looking for you," the young officer found the supervisor, pointing towards Chen Yuanshan.
Director Dong turned his head to glance at Chen Yuanshan, and then he strode over to us.
"What do you want?" Director Dong asked Chen Yuanshan.
"This isn't the place to talk. Let's go over there," Chen Yuanshan pointed to a large willow tree not far away and suggested. He then walked towards the tree.
Director Dong frowned as he glanced at Chen Yuanshan's retreating figure. However, he followed him with large strides.
As the two walked toward the willow tree, Xu Yan and Li Jianyuan followed them.
When Director Dong turned back to look at the three of us, his expression became cautious.
