Chapter 595

Sasha could help these friends to secure a partner. She understood that many of them had little real-world experience.

They'd dived into their projects with tons of enthusiasm, but once they secured the location and hired staff, they quickly realized they didn't even know what kind of project to focus on, let alone how to find the right collaborators.

Sasha saw this as a perfect opportunity to leverage her circle of friends. Sure enough, as soon as she posted her question, the responses came flooding in. Everyone was venting about how hard starting a business was and how clueless they were when it came to choosing projects or finding partners. Sasha reached out to each of them individually and confirmed their needs in detail. Then, she sent all the information over to Shane.

When Shane saw her messages, he realized that several of the inquiries lined up perfectly with his contacts. Even if his friends didn't have the ideal project to start with, Shane managed to secure some other potential partners.

Working side by side, Sasha and Shane made sure everyone found their perfect partner. They were overjoyed when everything fell into place.

That was when Sasha suddenly thought of something important. "So, how are we splitting the money?" "How about this-whoever brings in the client gets the fee?" Shane suggested.

"That doesn't seem fair to you," Sasha replied. "My friends are pretty generous. Why don't we just see how much we make in total and split it 50-50?"

Shane was about to say it wasn't necessary, but then he thought about his future with Yvonne. Losing out

on a few tens of thousands wasn't something he could overlook, especially since that could easily cover a couple of months of Yvonne's salary.

So, with a slight grin, he texted back. "Sounds good."

After settling on the split, they dove into the work contacting people one after another. Everyone was determined to move things along quickly The second they saw the other party had what they needed, they made the deals on the spot.

Shane and Sasha closed at least ten deals by the end of the night. Sasha's friends transferred large sums of money to her, and Shane got his fair share as well. When they split the profits, each of them ended up with at least a million dollars.

Sasha sank into her couch, her words full of contentment. "I can see why Shane loves this-it's quick money."

The downside, of course, was that most people with urgent needs had already secured deals in the first wave. So, the second round of potential clients was likely to be smaller.

But Shane didn't have to worry too much as his account had a solid buffer now. If business slowed, he could take some time to figure out how to expand his reach and attract more clients.

Staring at his bank balance, Shane couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement. He immediately found himself urging the driver, "Can you go a little faster?"

The driver responded with a lazy drawl, "I got to follow the traffic rules."

"Fine." Shane sighed, settling back in his seat.

He began to think about how to tell Yvonne the big news. This was the first time he'd earned so much, and it felt like proof that he was capable of making things happen. He wanted the person who cared about him to know it.

When the cab finally pulled up to Yvonne's apartment complex, Shane hopped out, humming to himself as he made his way to her door. But as he got closer, he spotted a man standing there. He wondered who this stranger was.noveldrama
