Returning to his mansion, Tomaz sat alone on the couch, drinking sullenly. He glanced at the recent financial reports, the downward curve hitting him hard.
Just then, his daughter, who was studying abroad in Yerusia, messaged him again. It was no surprise that she was asking for money. She had gotten used to spending extravagantly, and he had been sending her tens of thousands every week. However, Tomaz's finances were now too tight, and he only managed to transfer 5,000 this time. No sooner had the money been sent than his daughter's call came through.
"What's wrong?" the loving father answered with his usual doting tone, his expression indulgent.

"Okay, sweetheart. How have you been lately?" Like any concerned parent, Tomaz began his endless litany of questions.
"How are your studies going? Are you sleeping well-" he said midway only for the call to cut off.
The beeps echoed along with his heartbeat, and in that moment, his eyes grew moist. Tomaz stood there, holding the phone for a long time. Finally, he threw it down onto the couch.
He clutched his head, feeling a mix of emotions. At that moment, he picked up an envelope lying beside him.
What Tomaz did not know was that his daughter, Yessika, was currently at a lively, dimly lit underground bar in Gorgeous Country, happily drinking and dancing to the music.

When Nash opened his eyes again, he found himself lying on a soft, luxurious bed in a presidential suite. He got up and noticed that Theo was still asleep. His thundering snores had woken him. Feeling wide awake, Nash left the hotel and went to a small corner on the street to smoke.
He checked his phone and saw that Theo had sent him a video before going to sleep. Nash opened it and saw that it was footage from the reception.
Nash's decision to meet everyone a day later was not due to his reluctance but rather because he believed that to understand what was happening within the company, it was best for the leader not to be present. Theo naturally understood Nash's intentions. The issues within his company could not have suddenly arisen out of nowhere.
Though Theo only spoke of having Nash stabilize the situation, the fact that he went to such lengths to come to Gorgeous Country implied that the situation at the branch
office had reached a rather critical point.
While Theo did explicitly say it, Nash already knew that Theo's intention to meet with the managers and shareholders was part of his plan to overhaul the branch in the Gorgeous Country.
Giving them a harsh reminder out of the blue right now would be counterproductive, but Nash also knew that aimlessly searching for answers would be futile. Therefore, they came up with this temporary plan.
It was likely that the shareholders
harbored some dissatisfaction with Theo. Among them, apart from those who were simply following the majority, there were undoubtedly spies from rival companies who were trying to influence the situation.
Nash reviewed the footage.
Theo previously mentioned that the senior members of the board were loyal veterans who had been around ever since his father held the reigns, which made them trustworthy. Therefore, the issue had to lie with the shareholders.
