Chapter 2315

Even as Igor received the syringe, the chess match in the void had led to the endgame.

The golden dragon might be skilled, but Frank did not let up and eventually won by a narrow margin!

While others would think that there was not much gap in their skill, only the golden dragon knew how sharp Frank's mind was.

It would either be a win or a loss in chess-there was no such thing as close, even if it was by one move.

"It seems that I still have much room for improvement!" The golden dragon did not hold back on its flattery.

Frank chuckled. "I was just using an exploit. You've been playing against yourself, so anything you've learned might not necessarily be right. It's like art-if you're not learning from the best, it just won't do!"

The golden dragon nodded. "You're right. I think so too! And it's not the best thing to do either-I should also consider how to elevate your Mystic Sky Guild."noveldrama

And with those words, the golden dragon disappeared.

Igor was preparing the syringe when the machines observing Frank's vital signs suddenly beeped.

Everything had been dead for a moment, but in just a split second, everyone could see that Frank's vital signs were stable.

He was alive!

"Igor, is there a problem with your equipment?" Sue asked through her walkie-talkie.

Even so, she did not dare to hope because she would be disappointed again.

Before Igor could respond, however, Frank suddenly opened his eyes, leapt off the surgical table, and flashed a thumbs-up at Sue. Everyone including Igor were astounded-anyone would most definitely be dead after going through such wear and tear.

And yet, Frank overcame it and was once again alive and kicking as he stood before everyone!

Igor sighed in relief, "Oh, this is wonderful, Mr. Frankton!"

It was so fortunate that Frank had somehow survived, or he would have trouble explaining himself to Sue!

Frank's underlings were no pushovers either and would definitely make him pay however they could!

Still, Igor passed Frank a scalpel. "Mr. Frankton, how do you feel? Do you think we should..."

"You're out of line!" Sue bellowed through the walkie-talkie, glowering.

Continuing the experiment right after Frank woke up?! That geezer was just despicable!

These sciencey types really felt no sympathy or kindness inside them... They were simply ruthless!

"It's alright!" Frank assured Sue over the walkie-talkie and took the scalpel.

He did not bother to ask since he knew these scientists would have sterilized it beforehand and slit a long gash over the back of his hand.

Everyone stared at it, only to realize that it was closing itself before they realized it!

That was not all either-even Frank's blood was being reabsorbed into himself, and soon, Frank's hand looked like it had never been hurt at all.

It was just so creepy!

"H-How is that possible?!"

Igor turned pale in

shock-regeneration was supposed to work like how lizards regrew their tails. It took time and energy, and the old tail would not get reattached.

On the other hand, Frank had completely bypassed the need to burn energy!

In a nutshell, regeneration required mitosis, and present medical theory insisted that every division of the cell shortened the telomere of the ceff Once the telomere disappeared, cells would stop dividing entirely.

That in turn led to natural death in all living things, but Frank's ability bypassed that process. After all, his regeneration did not require cell

splitting, as the original cell would be returned into his body.

With further research on that front, they would eventually achieve immortality!

"Aren't you being too shocked here, Dr. Leitner?" Frank asked, bemused.

Igor quickly told him the theory he had in mind.
