Facts about Lone (The Author)
So I just felt like doing something like this to spice the post up a bit. Feel free to ignore this if you aren't particularly interested in me. None of the facts are too juicy (I hope).
1. I wrote the first ever 50 chapters of this story on my old xbox one. I didn't have the money to buy a desktop or laptop, so I used an xbox controller to kickstart this little hobby of mine. I later had to sell that xbox for rent money, but thankfully my brother had gifted me a pc (the one I still use today), so the chapters kept coming.
2. I'm only 22 and have been living alone for 6 years (16 is the age that one is considered an adult in Scotland). So I have very limited life experience, which is probably why my characters sucked so much at first. Characters are still a weak point of mine, but I've definitely improved a ton since I started writing 2 years ago.
This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
3. I actually have the most achievements on this website, and in my quest to have them all shown on each chapter, I accidentally informed Kanadaj of a visual error resulting in him limiting the viewable achievements to 15. To see all of a person's achievements, you have to view their profile now.
4. I'm technically a member of the RoyalRoad staff, but not really. I'm sort of a volunteer and I've helped with a lot of stuff (as evidenced by my achievements), but nowadays I just point out bugs to Kanadaj in the mod-chat in the RoyalRoad discord server.
5. Speaking of RR mods, I've gone to a meet-up IRL with the two site owners, Kanadaj and Wing, as well as four other mods; Oinos, Neca, Tomolone and Dawn. We all went to Italy and Oinos was kind enough to host us for a week (Except Wing who rented an apartment nearby due to her religious beliefs and not wanting to sleep in the same house as 5 guys that she had only just met IRL. Very understandable).
6. For anyone that reads Shovels In Spades - my far more popular novel - I got the idea for that novel when I still worked at the local skip site (basically a place people go to dump their garbage). I found a really good condition stainless steel shovel and thought it'd be cool to write about a guy fighting with a shovel. I still own this shovel, by the way. It's sitting against a wall next to my pc desk.
I think that's everything I'll share for now. I share everything about myself with those that ask, but this is a light-hearted post to admire the fluffball Garadia, so no point diving deeply into who I am as a person right now.
