Lone was a little bit upset that the two skills didn't level up a lot more considering how many people he was tricking, but the very fact that they'd levelled up at all meant that he had succeeded at least somewhat. Lone cast his attention back onto the general, Sal'ta. "My companions and I are very tired in all honesty, so I was wondering if it wouldn't be too much to ask to have a large tent to ourselves where we could relax and prepare for the Talso Empire's soldiers?"
An elder of the council that Lone had yet to interact with stepped forward. She was a small Fairy, one of the two Fairy elders that he had never spoken with before. She had her hands on her chest and was quite clearly taken aback by his retelling of Ele'hunda's actions. "Of course, Lord Immortus. Follow me and I'll free up a suitable tent for you. I'm sure the soldiers would be more than happy to rest elsewhere if it meant giving some comfort to the man that helped slay our biggest nightmare."
Lone nodded softly. "Thank you, Elder Lezta." Thankfully Lone knew every single Elder's name by memory. He glanced back at the still confused general who was lost in thought. "I'll be borrowing Breena and Swind. I hope you don't mind."
Startled out of her ponderous state, the woman clad in engraved full-plate smiled. "Please, go ahead. They've both contributed greatly. I'm sure General Dalf'ko doesn't mind in regards to the girl." A short nod from the purple keeper general who had been in charge of Breena confirmed Sal'ta's words. "Swind explained his desertion very verbosely. I have heard of your anger before, so he may have even saved the tree himself by rescuing your human lover."
A few laughs could be heard from the crowd. None came from the elders and a small collection of the green and blue keepers. While Sal'ta's words sounded like a joke, to the elders and to the people who were at Lone's keeper test, her words sounded all too serious.
Lone just scratched his neck a bit shamefully in response. He and his group of Wanderers and human outsiders followed Elder Lezta through the camp. They reached a large beige tent that was made of some sort of soft silk just like the rest of them. Lone marvelled at the difference between this military encampment and the one from the Taslo Empire that he had wiped out almost a week ago. It was like comparing heaven to hell. Clearly, if it wasn't already obvious, this was a statement of how rich the Elves were.
Lone silently mused to himself how this was probably funded from his own pocket in a way considering the money he had injected into the eastern world tree's economy.
Instead of one of the many comfortable-looking chairs in the tents, Lone opted to take out a large beanbag from his Dimensional Storage. The massive squishy red seat welcomed his body and enveloped him. He made a motion with his hand towards Soph to come closer, which she happily obliged.
Wrapping the small girl in his arms, Lone was content. He could almost feel the energy flood back into him as his tails coiled around his lover and squeezed her lightly. For good measure, he kissed the top of her head and rested his chin on her hair.
Soph's face was beet-red. It was rare for Lone to be so affectionate with her in public unless he was really stressed out, so she was happy to be of help to him.
With his face still buried in her soft golden-blonde locks, Lone mumbled, "I'll heal your mana organs in a bit. I just need to recover some mana. Eolande," Lone said before he tossed several empty mana orbs to her. "Can you go around and ask the elves to fill these? We need the mana more than they do. Take Swind with you. He's liked by the people more than we are."
Swind wanted to be by Rachel's side, but he knew that he couldn't be selfish right now. Eolande, on the other hand, was wearing her undisguised jealousy on her face openly. 'Would he be using me as a 'stress ball' if I was the one with the crippled mana organs? What are you thinking... Stupid girl... Of course he wouldn't...' She smiled politely and scooped up the mana orbs. "I'll do so, Husband. But I want a hug as a reward," she replied coyly.
The more violent side of Soph, Sophie, wanted for her to snarl and jump on her rival or at least fawn over Lone to show her what she was missing, but Soph knew that Lone was loyal, so she stuck her tongue out playfully and just cuddled his tails a bit more tightly. 'You won't keep getting the better of me, dirty vixen! I don't need to rely on Sophie to always fight back!'

Hazel, Emma, Alisa, George and Scott all looked at this exchange with a variety of expressions. The teens from Earth were in shock at how much the infamous loser teacher had changed. He was in so much control, and he had two stunningly beautiful girls of questionable ages vying for his attention. One was happily being snuggled by him, while the other was actively calling him her spouse.
Emma was more surprised at Lone's new tail colours, to be honest. His projection back at The Academy had differently coloured tips, not entire tails. He also seemed more handsome now, which definitely wasn't a bad thing for her.
George was just happy that Lone and Soph were safe after what had happened back in Milindo's capital, The Holy City of Ranton.
Lone smiled a bit wryly at Eolande's request. He planted his lips on Soph's head once more to placate her before he nodded. "Fine. Only a hug though. Okay?"
The Elder Tylwyth Teg licked her lips seductively. "Sure. Let's go, Swind. We should be back in a few mins." She practically bounced out of the tent while shaking her hips. Swind just shook his head from side to side while he sighed and followed her out.
"That was... insane." Scott was having a bit of an internal crisis. "How could someone so small be so sexy? Jesus Christ... How old is she?"
Alisa kicked him in his unarmoured shin, making him yelp out in a pain. He looked at her apologetically. "Hey, you're not sexy, you're cute. There's a big difference." Even if there was a blush on her face, she still proceeded to kick her boyfriend a few more times for good measure.
Lone leaned his head back and closed his eyes, allowing Soph to lay down fully on his chest. Beanbags really were a slice of heaven. "Eolande is an Elder Tylwyth Teg from Earth. She's just over two-hundred thousand years old."
Both Scott and Alisa's jaws nearly hit the floor at the same time, but for very different reasons.
"She's how old?!"
"That Fairy is from Earth?! How?!"
Lone chuckled softly. Alisa had always been interested in mythology, hadn't she? Even if she usually zoned out during his lessons, the few times he was able to teach about more medieval things, she always went on about myths and legends.
"Two-hundred thousand. And she's an Elder Tylwyth Teg, not a Fairy. Easy mistake to make considering their physical similarities. Wings, I guess. Makes the height difference easier to overlook. According to her, Earth was ruled by the two gods of Olympus, Zeus and Poseidon as well as Hades from Tartarus. Hades was the ruler of all of the mythological beings while his brothers focused on humans. They betrayed him, forcing him to flee and go into hiding. Eolande doesn't know if he's still alive or not," Lone summarised.
He felt happy that his ex-students and Scott were actually listening to him teach. It was a strange feeling that he definitely enjoyed. "Zeus and Poseidon ended up dying of old age. A new ruler showed up to keep Earth in check. He was called God." Soph visibly flinched at the mention of that man's name.
"What?! God was real?!" Alisa felt like her mind was reeling in shock a bit too much for her liking.
Lone laughed gently. "Very. He was a paranoid old goat. He wiped out all of the magical races of Earth. Racist, trigger-happy cunt." Lone's hate was clear for all to see. "Eolande fled to Altros using a magical ritual that sacrificed many of her people's lives. The rest of her story is not mine to tell."
Scott was having a bit of trouble buying everything that Lone was saying. He was a bit of a sceptic to start with, so even with Lone's skills and charm working to persuade him, he still had doubts. "What happened to God then?"
"Well, this perfect little angel on top of me killed him. Before you ask, she's nine-hundred and seventy-four. The holy crusades were organised to kill her. Neurotic old bastard thought she was a threat to him just because she was immortal. Stupid fucker killed himself by making her his enemy. Self-fulfilling prophecies, huh?" Lone joked with a bit of venom in his tone.
Something clicked inside of Alisa mind. "You're immortal?" she asked Soph.
Still clutching a few tails, Soph shook her head. "'Was', not 'is'. Most of my unique skills were sealed when me and Lone came here. They unlock one by one whenever Lone ranks up. Immortality is still sealed."
Lone scoffed. "Not like anyone can kill her. If they try, they're fucking dead. If they somehow get past me, Soph can just turn back time. It'd be easier to destroy Altros than kill her."
Both Soph and Sophie felt a certain warmth spread throughout their heart. It was hard for the violent and untrusting Sophie to love, but once she had opened the floodgates for Lone, it was like everything he did and said to her filled her with a sticky feeling that made her want to melt with joy. No matter how much she loved her true self, she couldn't help but be a bit jealous that she hadn't opened up to Lone as soon as her kinder self had done. Well, opened up emotionally. She'd done it plenty physically.
Once again, everyone except for Hazel and Breena was surprised by this revelation. Lone's bloodthirst was ignorable in the wake of the piece of information that Sophie could apparently reverse time!
Hazel had been quiet until now, but she thought it was a good opportunity to say something that had been on her mind since she had first reunited with her brother now that everyone was temporarily silent. Even if she could read minds, she wouldn't learn anything if the person she was reading wasn't thinking about what she wanted to know.
"Big Bro... What happened to you? You're not the same person from back home... You used to be so friendly, even if you had a swearing tick... I'm not against you gaining confidence and stuff like that, but this is all a bit hard to accept." Hazel wanted to be honest with the man who had cared for her since her birth. It would serve no one if she lied and kept her feelings hidden.
Lone chuckled softly. He kept his eyes closed and wrapped one of his hands around Sophie's belly, slipping it up her shirt and keeping it placed on her navel. George and Alisa looked away out of embarrassment at Lone's obvious display of affection.
"You try getting thrown into a new world by a god with nothing but a single message of good luck and a few special powers with no one you know. You try to survive on an island filled with horny goblins that just want to rape your only companion and make her a goblin factory. You try to be friendly in a kingdom of hyper-racist humans when you're a demi. You try to stay the same when you're wrongfully imprisoned and forced to become a cold-blooded murderer just to escape. You try to live with multiple insane Primal Essences using your soul like a fucking hostel. You try to not change when the whole bastarding world seems to be your enemy." Lone raised his head and looked at Hazel.
His cold multicoloured eyes met her amber ones as he said, "If you were expecting a warm reunion with your brother, Darren McCullen, then I'm sorry to burst your fucking bubble, but that guy is long dead."
Lone's heated words almost instantly changed the temperature of the room by a few dozen degrees at least.
