Outside the castle walls was a beautiful city of wooden houses and leaves. Elves greet each other with grace and watch towers sprinkled over the city. There was a large green barrier all around the city, it was said to be the protection from the outside world.
The large gate of the castle walls opened up, elves carried a large marble slab with those elves with green glowing eyes standing on them with the green altar in front of them.
"Citizens of Elven Kingdom!" A priest announced, watching the elves surrounding their slab. "A human and a traitorous elf has been let loose in our beautiful city. What a tragedy this day had been. Please, lend us your assistance..." The green altar began to glow, those who were watching the priests suddenly had their eyes glow green.
"And find those who defy our control." The priest told with a menacing tone, the elves around them soon dropped whatever they had and ran into their city.
A barrel opened up slightly, and the blue eyes of the blue-haired girl squinted cheekily. "Hey grumpy, how ya hanging up there?"
The barrel beside her sighed. "Never call me grumpy, not gramps, nor grand terroristo. Follow my orders and I shall consider letting you go."
"As if I'm in your control, granny." Bourbon lowered her head, suddenly staying quiet as more elves passed.
A floating cloud above the road reveals her body, floating above the barrels. "It's all clear!" She announced.
The two barrels tiptoe toward a long, dark alley. Alvius jumped out of his barrel first, dusting off his armor and his bag. He looked back at the barrel where the girl was. He pulled out his spear with a smirk. "Ahem." The fairy coughed with a stern face. He groaned, disarming his spear. "Get out of there, human. We're here." He said, walking deeper into the alley.
She punches the lid out, jumping out of it with a clean flip."Booyah! What's in here?" She asked, catching a bomb in her hand.
The elf turned to her. "The only reason I'm tolerating you right now is because we have the same goal." He said he kept walking into the darkness until he stopped. "Oh? I thought you just wanted to get out of the castle walls?" She said cheerfully.
"That's changed with the GodElves on our ass."
"GodElves? They call themselves GodElves?"
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"I don't want to do anything with that. Now, where do you think is the best place to escape to?" He asked.
Bourbon blinked. "How the fuck am I supposed to know? I don't even know where THIS place even is, and I've been all over the dang continent!" She groaned.
"Leemealow Forest, speak of the secret and you'll have your head In the king's collection."
"He's got a head collection!?"
"I've seen it, it's not a pretty sight." He said while he lifted a cloth lid off some kind of machine. "I'll ask again, where's the best place to escape to?"
Bourbon taps her chin. "The only place I can think of is the Grayhold Kingdom...Oh! I got an idea, what if we try taking out the GodElves?"
"Its impossible, lead the way to Grayhold." He steps to the side, showing a catapult.
Bourbon gasped, approaching the catapult and rubbing her hands all around it, she was joined by her fairy.
"You love touching things...unlike most humans." The elf groaned. "This is quality wood! They call this Elven Wood, right?"
"It smells like donuts..." Gin commented.
"Point it to whatever place."
"You're pretty dumb despite your high and mighty attitude, grampoo."
"I am reconsidering our alliance-."
"Hey! Think about this, how should I know where our location Is? You don't have a compass, do you? Oh! And better yet, you said it yourself that there are watch towers!"
"We'll be going fast.."
"Nuh-uh! Have you ever considered the distance this pult can reach? THIS was your plan!?"
Alvius bared his teeth. He didn't bother to pull his spear.
"I'll tell you what, let's go do MY plan. I'm gonna get us both out of here and you get to hear me out about taking out the glowy guys."
"That's impossible..."
"No for reals, I know a guy-"
"I'm talking about listening to your ideas, human. I hate how you're taking too much control!" He steps to Bourbon, his face getting redder.
"I'm smarter than you look, you probably spent your life listening to orders all the time. You're tired of that right?" She said, squeezing her bomb.
Alvius gasped, his body shaking with anger. He looked up to her once again. "I am, and it's not going to change."
"Oh, you want it to change. You were about to get out of here solo, right? Just trust me. Please." Bourbon held out her hand.
He stepped back from the hand, disgusted. "I'm gonna get out of here on my own if you don't trust me. I just wanna spite ya with kindness. Haha!" She laughed. Alvius groans, "You may have convinced me, but I shall never touch your flesh."
Bourbon's hand gets wrapped around by clouds, Gin floating next to her head. "Is this good?" Gin asked as Bourbon nodded.
The elf held the cloudy hand, shaking it gently and taking it off immediately. "Are you satisfied human?" He asked, wiping his hand with a leaf.
"Fair enough, now YOU follow my lead!"
An Elven Marketplace was bustling with focused shoppers and then traders. The elves seem to be whispering among themselves and casting nervous glances at the guards surrounding the area. The wooden structures, while still beautiful, seem to have an underlying sense of unease. Even the soft, pleasant crunch of the ground seems to be tinged with an undercurrent of tension.
Soon, the elves found themselves trying to see through the white mist around them. The elves turned to the source of this strange fog emerging out of nowhere, only to be struck in awe.
A beautiful elf with glistening blue hair waved upon the elven winds, the mist around her covering most of her facial features. What catches one's eye is her beautiful cloud dress adorned with bubbly gems.
"That dress must have cost a lot..."
"Damn, I bet she a baddie...must be a high elf with all that wind magic!"
A shady elf follows behind her, wearing a hat. Elves jumped at the man, trying to get him away from the blue-haired elf. The elf moved out of the way of one elf, making him fall to the ground. Jabbing his knuckles into one's neck and flipping him down. And he swept one's legs, continuing his way to walk with the beautiful elf.
"Get away from her..."
"Someone stop the thief!"
Alvius growled, "Damn idiots, I don't look that shady..." The girl in front of her giggled. "I told you ya look like a stalker with that fit!"
