Chapter 39 The Cell

"Mngh..." Her eyes fluttered, meeting an empty wooden ceiling. She gasps, reaching for a bomb in her bag...feeling nothing there at all. She stood up, searching for anything. Pockets, breast pockets...she even ruffled her hair.

"Oh my god." As she was searching, she found herself being watched by a tall figure with pale skin and sharp ears beyond steel bars. She grabbed the bars with one of her hands and reached her other to try touching the white-haired elf.

"Oh my god! Elves! Can I touch you? It's my first time getting captured AND meeting elves! Please? Pleeeeeeaae?"

The elf slapped away the hand with a sharp click of his tongue. Unfortunately for him, the girl retracted her hand and looked at her hand. "Oh my goooshhh, thank you! An elf touched me.."

"This disgusting human..." The elf tightened his grip on his spear. The yellow-haired elf held his shoulder. "Let it go, we have more important tasks to attend to." The elf began to walk away from her cell.

"Yeaah, I bet you're going to be touched by more of our disgusting fingies!" She threatens the elf within by moving her fingers near the elf's face.

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

"MEHHH"

"Alvius! It's not worth it!" The elf began pulling on Alvius' long hair. His spear in hand tries reaching for the girl's fingers, which he fails to do.

The girl sat back down in the cell with a heavy sigh. "Just when I thought things were going well...god, do I suck that bad?" She chuckled to herself. "Damn..."

She looked to the ceiling once more, lying down on the floor. "How the fuck was I supposed to know they were behind me? This just isn't fair!"

She raised her fist in the air with rage, slowly lowering it with a heavy sigh. "Am I gonna die here...?"

"Human!" As Bourbon opens her eyes, a ball of meat gets shoved into her face. She wiped it off immediately and sat up. "If you're gonna feed a prisoner, at least wake 'em up first!"

Alvius shook his fist in anger. It was an inch near the wooden bar, luckily his arm was being held by the visible leaves around it. "Alvius, it was your fault for being rude!"

"Damn, that's why you ain't got no bitches Alvius the Asshole!" The girl teased, while the yellow hid a chuckle.

"I'LL-" A leaf flies to his mouth, muffling his voice. The yellow-haired elf looked at the girl. "Cherish that morsel, that will be your only meal for today."

"Great, can I have my bag?"

"No."

"Dang, worth a shot."

There was a sudden stampede of marches heard from outside. The two elves turned to the sounds, and the yellow-haired elf let go of the leaf in his mouth. "Elvis, how dare you-"

"Now's not the time, we're needed!"

The two elves rushed out of the dungeon. Bourbon looked down at the piece of meat, chewing bits and pieces of it while looking outside of her cell. There were two other empty cells right beside her and in front of her. She catches a glimpse of a locker room at the far right corner of her eye.

She smiled to herself and began looking for the lock in her cell...wait a minute, there was no lock!

"Oh come the fuck on! I thought I had it!" She lies down on the floor again with a loud annoyed groan. "This is fucking stupid! Unfair! This doesn't make any sense!" She threw herself around the floor, kicking and punching the bars in anger. "Come oooon!"

She started punching the wood on the bars again. She started swinging her fists quickly; soon, she started banging them with her head slowly.

Her stomach growled, finding herself looking back at the moonlight soaking her face at the tiny window. She rubbed the bruise on her head and banged it with her fist. "There's supposed to be help by now...right?" She asked herself.

She heard a splatter beside her. She turned to find a meat cluster and looked up at the bars.

The yellow-haired elf smiled at her, then turned into a frown of pity. "Human, I'm going to be called to the enchantress tomorrow-" She yawns, rubbing her eyes as they widen at the elf. The moonlight shone on the elf's face, revealing a dreamy look and his hair flowing by the soft breeze. "Y-You're hot!" She gasped.

The elf chuckled, "Thanks, but I believe this will be our last meeting. I am Elvis, by the way." He said, reaching his hand inside the cell. Bourbon looked up at his head. "I'm Bourbon Beverly! Can I touch your ears? Please?" She clasps both her hands on his, her eyes begging for his flesh.

The elf sighed, annoyed. Yet he lowered his head down for her hands to reach. "I might as well-" He suddenly shuddered, his ears being pressed by the gentle fingers of hers, his hair being combed softly. "It feels like silk..." She said, being slowly pushed away now and the elf standing up.

"Goodbye." He soon marched away, looking back at her with a smirk.

She waves at him with a grin. Then lying on the floor with a groan.

"Dang, it's literally just oiled skin. Still, pretty cool!" She said to herself, biting into her meatballs.

She plucked a bit of her blue hair and tied it around her finger like a string, revealing three around her index finger. "I'm so dang thirsty..." She grumbled, her stomach agreeing with a growl.

As soon as she heard footsteps, she clasped her hands back at the bars and looked up at the elf in front of her. Her face turned from excitement to disappointment.

"Damn human, look how pathetic you are, waiting for your meal like a dog!" The white-haired said, throwing a ball of meat smacks to her head. She grabs it, eating nomming on it like a mouse.

"Can I have some water? I'm gonna die soon." She told, giving the elf a dose of her adorable bubbly eyes of begging.

Instead, the elf pulls out his spear. "I'll feed you your own blood if you want water, fucking bitch!"

"Whoa! Aren't you gonna get punished for that, jizzy hair geezer?" She crawls backward, looking at the pointy spear.

The elf clicked his tongue, he seemed to have muttered something. He looked back at her and walked away, mumbling to himself.

As soon as he was out of sight, she looked at the bars. "Darn, I wish he stayed a bit longer..." Her head rests upon the bars.

"I'm so freaking bored already...Shell...Sarah...Green boy...that one kid who asked for my autograph... Oh wait, am I actually that famous?" She looked up.

She finds a small cloud above her.

"Eh? What the fuck?"

The cloud shook, and a humanoid-shaped cloud emerged above it. It was only a torso above the cloud. Two bubbles emerged from its head, followed by streams of mist emerging from its head. Its cloud dress covers up the unnecessary big clouds. Clouds formed her slim hands, raising them and turning around to show her cloudy presence while singing in a light, soft voice.

"Thank youuu!" The creature announced, bowing its head down at Bourbon.

She blinked, rubbing her eyes and blinking again. "Hah?"
