No matter how much disagreement happened between us, I cannot deny that Nubram is the most dangerous player in our bunch. And I am not saying this in any spiteful manner, he is very dangerous. As dangerous as he looks.
I mean, look at those asymmetrical eyes. Only crazy dangerous people opted for an asymmetrical look like that!
I never thought that Krysta’s recommendation on the path selection would have so much impact on Nubram’s character. I saw how capable Krysta was, and I would have assumed Nubram would reach around that level. Yet, I was wrong.
Nubram is far stronger than Krysta even with only the free equipment given by the GMs. It would not be a stretch if I say that soon he could reach Esferta’s power level.
Even now he already has some advantage over Esferta, namely his capabilities in dealing with physical damage dealers, especially ranged ones. No matter how good Rina is as a player, Esferta is a warlock that is susceptible to ranged physical damage. Wizards are prone to it as well.
But not Nubram. He is an expert in delaying stuff both in real life and in game. He would toy around with his opponent, disabling them as much as he can before slamming his heat based spell to finish them. This is why he works so well with Tier. The two really have some insidious intention with how they built up their character.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
Other than the overpowering shot from [Blaze Bolt] we are no stranger to Nubram’s [Winterblade]. This instant cast and spammable ability is the main point of his character. With it, he could slow the opponents enough to give him some time to launch a nasty strike. And yes, Enlightenment path gives him plenty of more annoying spells to mess with his opponent on top of the damage buff as well as the cooldown reduction.
Now, on to his rather non-spammable abilities, Nubram employs [Disturbance] to stop opposing characters from casting an ability while also disorienting them. This is very effective for dealing with ranged opponents. As for the melee ones, he could shove them away with [Magma Core]. And if you think you could get away by attacking him using magical damage, wait until he shoves [Mirror Force] right up your face. Do you not believe me? Just ask Arkengrad.
This is why I swear that I will never use [Sanctity Edge] on Nubram, it will just backfire at me.
Being annoying is not the only thing that Nubram does. He also deals tons of damage once the opponent loses their focus and guard. And with his brand new custom ability, he doubles down on it. [Spellbreaker Force] is one hell of a nasty ability inspired from Renma’s [Purification]. It deletes all beneficial buffs on the opponent while also dealing damage based on the quantity and strength of buffs being deleted.
And then, Nubram is able to tap into [Overlock] that enables him to dish out spells in quick succession with the drawback that he would experience overheat that slowed him down afterwards. Pretty sneaky, to be frank. I mean, why would he need to worry about being slowed down if the opponent is already dead?
By the way, have I mentioned that he has almost 40% critical strike rate? Too high for spellcasters, really. I know that he gets a lot of benefits from scoring critical strikes, but still… Gosh, thank God his HP is small compared to other spellcasters.
Anyway, as if all those things are not enough. Nubram is also lucky, extremely lucky if I may say so. So he used his connections with Grok and Esferta to get into a raid just for some hehe-haha stuff. And during the item distribution, the spellcasters in the same raid did not have a single [Inferno’s Tongue] sword dropped during that time.
Guess what, Nubram was awarded with that item despite it being his first raid.
Like… COME ON!
