Daisy walked along with Theo at her side, carrying a basket. The two had agreed to meet up with Selena for lunch in the park. While they were out, they decided to pick up something to eat on the way. Daisy paid the vendor and dropped it in that basked. "Thank you kindly." The people were looking at her less oddly. More of them were smiling as she approached.
Theo chuckled softly as they walked, rubbing his face against her shoulder. "People seem to be getting used to you being around. They're looking at you less weirdly."
Daisy bobbed her head. "Yeah, hum, think it was our rescue work? Maybe we should keep showing everyone we're a force for good. People will look up to us. We'll be heroes!"
"We're already heroes," countered Theo. "But I think you're right." He touched her hand with his own and slid it up her wrist. "One girl is nice and all, but you have an offer to join the guard. If you take it, hum, note that takes you away from us."
Daisy looked over the park slowly, then back towards him. "I know, but that's just a job. You two aren't." She gently squeezed his hand. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere without you two coming along." She snapped her fingers. "If that means waiting for you two to graduate before considering that, so be it."
Theo nuzzled against her arm slowly. "Thank you." His ears perked as he spotted the picnic table Selena had set up. It had a blanket over it and several baskets atop. "Oh, looks like she brought things to."
"I sure did," sang out Selena as she returned, thick shark tail swaying behind her. "I need to thank you again." She settled on the bench at the table. "People keep looking at me, and I love it. So many people want to talk to me, too! I think I'll start making new friends soon, too." She wiggled with excitement. "And the guys are starting to take notice of me."
Daisy settled across from Selena. "All good news. Just remember, you can't say how you ended up this way." She ruffled Selena's head gently. "Or someone else may try to steal your unique look."
Theo grinned at that. "We'll get jealous when a cute mutant tries to claim our Daisy."
Selena waved a hand at Theo. "You know I'm not interested in that, right? It's not unique if more than one person has it." She pointed to herself, tiger-striped fur bristling. "Right now, only I have it, and I plan to keep it." Her grin slowly fell to a smile, then she glanced aside. "Though I don't know what I want next."
Daisy stroked Selena's ears lightly, running her fingers through them. "You got what you were after. You can enjoy that, or time to pick a new target. But, first, we're here to learn more about you." She smiled anew. "What kind of hobbies do you enjoy?"
Theo nodded. "And what's your major?"
Daisy looked over Selena carefully. "I think we're all starting to see you as a friend, but you can say no. People always have the right to say no."
"I'm glad you feel that way." Selena rubbed the side of her head slowly. "But I didn't want to stop last time." She waved a hand at them. "So don't be afraid to make the offer again." She licked her lips in thought. "But, hobbies, hm." She leaned in. "Bit of a fashionista, but I went minimal today. My body is a work of art and I want to show it off right now. I'll decorate myself soon enough, to highlight things and draw people's eyes where I want them."
Selena smiled. "And I'm studying business. I'm hoping to start a company someday." She rubbed her cheek slowly. "I don't know what it is I want to do. I just want to make a place for people that can be good for all of us."
Theo snorted gently. "Wow, that is kinda vague. I like the heart at least, a good place for good people. But we have to narrow that down a little." He held up two fingers close together. "You said you like fashion?"
Selena nodded. "Yeah. I think I'd be too scared to run a clothing shop. I wouldn't know if it'd succeed or not."
Daisy reached up to stroke over Selena's head lightly. "Everything fails if you don't even try."
Selena shivered under Daisy's touch. "That feels good. You know how to find all the sensitive places." She licked her lips. "How about this... I'll try to get my own business running. But that should wait for after school." She sat up. "Right! You asked about my major." She clapped her hands. "I am an illusionist, or working towards it. I like making people see things that aren't there, to show them what they could be seeing, instead."
Theo pointed at himself with a laugh. "Well, we're in a few classes together, but I'm not in illusion studies, explains why you're not in most of them. What year are you?"
Selena put up two fingers. "Second, or will be after this year is over."
Theo nodded. "Cool, same here, then. You've got a lot of time left to learn what it is you like, and what you want to be."
Daisy's ears lifted high. "Oh, you're both first years? Fate is kind to us, putting us so close together then." She placed a hand on her chest. "Not that I'm technically a student anymore, I just kinda graduated right out. They said I was done when I figured out I was more of a paladin."

Selena smiled at Daisy. "That makes sense. You're all, what, muscle." She poked one of Daisy's powerful arms. "No offense, seriously, but you look like you could rip one of us in half if you wanted."
Daisy flexed her arm, showing off some of her power, before she relaxed and leaned in closer to the two. "I would never. Now, we should eat. The smell's making me hungry." As if on cue, her belly grumbled softly.
Selena blushed at that. "Oh, right." She opened up a basket and pulled out several sandwiches and bottles of juice, setting them down on the table before taking one each for herself.
Theo brought out the pies they had gotten. "Full of everything. Meat, veggies, all the works, in one pie." He laid out the three, one for each of them.
Selena sniffed at hers slowly. "Oh, that's nice, thank you." She held a hand to her cheek. "My last boyfriend only bought me flowers."
Daisy inclined her head. "We're not girlfriends and boyfriends quite yet, but glad to hear we're making a good show. You're just a friend, and that's enough to show up with some quality food at least." She started eating her own, taking big bites.
Selena nodded and started into hers. "This is good. Oh, do I get a kiss for that, like last time?"
Daisy hiked a brow. "You never got food for me before, what last time?"
"During the drinking contest!" Theo answered for Selena. "You two kissed."
"Oh, that." Daisy smiled and leaned in closer to Selena, their noses almost touching. "I won't kiss you for bringing lunch. That's not a healthy habit." She sat back with a little smirk. "Ask for one just because I like you. There shouldn't be any other condition hanging on that."
Selena blushed darkly. "I'd like a kiss."
Daisy gently cupped Selena's chin with her thumb and forefinger. She pulled her head closer to her own, pressing their lips together gently. It was far from a deep kiss, but it was a real little peck between them. "That's as much as you get until you get approved by both of them. Theo, did you have another question for our supplicant?"
"Yes, actually!" Theo grinned wide and laughed at himself. "Why are you so interested in me and Daisy?"
Selena blushed at that. "When I saw you walking around with your big mouse lady friend, I thought she looked really cool, and cute. To be perfectly honest, I wanted to be her, to have all the eyes on me, to be big and loved and—" She hugged herself tightly. "I was so jealous! Thankfully, that's mostly fixed now. I was afraid she was going to keep all the fun to herself."
Daisy gently took one of Selena's hands between both of hers and squeezed softly. "I don't know what it is about this town, but it feels like everyone needs some lovin'." It hit her what world she was in. "Oh. Everyone does."
Theo inclined his head at that. "What?"
Daisy shook her head. "Sorry, knowledge from another world there, but I know the, uh, basic pattern of this one." She imagined the lewd game the world had started as and imagined everyone she knew a moment as a dating potential target with love meters and everything. "I shouldn't think too hard on that. Just, wow, yeah, we all need a hug, or something, to make things better."
Selena nodded slowly, still blushing. "Yeah... Yeah, that's one way of putting it." Her eyes settled on Theo for a moment, her tail giving a flick. "Can we go back to the dorms soon? I'm not sure how much longer I can keep my hands to myself."
Theo reached across to poke Selena in the center of her chest. "Hold your horses. If you had a billion gold coins, what would you spend it on first?"
Selena shivered at that as she considered it, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. "That is an interesting question. Maybe some good land for a new company." She shivered softly. "Or a nice place for a shop."
Theo wagged a finger slowly. "Advance your dream, I can appreciate that. Next question, a boy's interested in you and follows you around. He took one of your panties, but you catch him, what do you do?"
Daisy blinked rapidly at that one. "Theo, that is a really odd question."
Theo held his hands up. "I have reasons for it. Your answer." His eyes were on Selena.
She blushed darkly, looking away. "You know, I've done that once. I found a guy I thought was cute and gave him my panties, and told him to keep them, as proof I liked him." She wriggled in her seat. "If some boy grabbed one of mine and I caught him, I'd take it back, obviously, then bop him one on the nose for stealing. But, um, probably ask why he likes me, but isn't brave enough to just say that."
Daisy hiked her brows up at that one. "Theo, you're not into that, right?"
He held his hands up defensively. "I'm trying to figure her out, okay?" He looked away from Daisy back to Selena. "I like that answer. You didn't say you'd have him arrested, or beat the crap out of him, or anything. You actually were willing to give the guy a chance."
Daisy reached out and touched Theo's shoulder. "Are you still mad how I reacted?"
He swatted her hand away. "We're way past that, besides, I did a little more than try to get away with a bit of clothing with you."
"Alright, last question. We're having an amazing day, and the sun is just about to set." Theo looked to Selena with a smile. "Where would you want to watch it?"
Selena sat back, chewing on her sandwhich quietly a moment. "Mmm." She swiveled in her seat and pointed up at the clock tower. "If I could pick anywhere, up there. The view must be so great."
Theo nodded slowly. "Alright, I am sold on you." He grinned at Daisy. "Are we good?"
Daisy hugged him from the side. "No issues from me, but Cedric also has to approve. We all say yes, or we don't do it. I want us to a happy family. If we're not all happy with this situation, then it will be a miserable thing for all of us." She looked down. "Besides, the number is only showing two, so it can't be three until he says yes too."
