The shopkeeper was more than eager to spend a little time with Daisy. Daisy led her through the city, towards the university. "Since we met, I came here to study."
The woman followed along after, but looked around with trepidation as they reached the school grounds. "What? I don't think we can do that here, either."
Daisy smiled, guiding her towards one building. "It's fine. Especially where we're going. This is going to be university business, actually."
"My favorite subject!" came a familiar voice from nearby. Elina approached the two, looking over the shopkeeper. "So, who is this?"
Daisy smiled at the researcher, waving her closer. "This is, um. I never got her name." She turned to the shopkeeper. "But she's a little mouse and wants to go the rest of the way. She knows the risks, but wants to drink herself into it. I figured you'd want to be there for that. She's a volunteer, after all."
The shopkeeper looked around nervously, but was still smiling. "I'm Dose."
Elina perked up, clapping her hands together. "Then come with me! A pleasure to meet you, Dose. You will be helping advance scholarly research."
Daisy reached for the woman's hand and led her along. Dose huddled close against Daisy. "I know, that's why I came."
Elina led them both through hallways towards her lab.
Daisy gently rubbed the far side of Dose. "Don't pretend. You're here because you like the taste, and want to be a mouse. Any scholarly progress is a nice bonus."
Dose smiled at Elina. "It's both, really." She squeezed Daisy's arm as she walked alongside her.
They reached Elina's office. Daisy drew Dose inside, then followed. The door clicked shut behind them.
"Excellent! Please lie down on the bed," Elina gestured at Dose, who moved towards it. "Daisy, go ahead and feed her. I want nothing in the way. This is to be a test of the unfiltered mutagen."
Daisy moved to the side of the bed and sat carefully on its edge. She looked over Dose. "Alright, let's—" She squeaked as Dose almost tackled her in an attempt to get her shirt off. "Easy there!" Daisy gently stroked along Dose's ears. "You'll get your treat. I promise."
Dose nuzzled against Daisy's arm, her tail wiggling eagerly.
Daisy got her top off, tossing it aside. "Give a girl a chance." She sat next to Dose and pulled her over. "Now, easily. That nipple's attached to a living person, I remind. Soft and long, not hard and fast. I got plenty."
Dose giggled, but her hands were trembling as she reached up to stroke Daisy's fur, drawing closer. "I've been wanting to do this again since last time. I just didn't know how to find you."
Elina approached, watching quietly as Dose carefully drew a nipple into her mouth, beginning to nurse. "Hm, would you say you feel a compulsion towards this?" Not that she got an answer from the gorging Dose. "Bad timing." She took notes instead, eyes darting over the woman.
Daisy gently held Dose in place, caressing her ears and hair. "That's it, nice and easy. Drink your fill."
Dose trembled as her form began to change with muffled cries of pleasure. Fur grew over her skin, spreading across her body. Her tail thickened and grew until it reached half way to the floor. Daisy gently stroked the new fur, smoothing some down.
"She is reacting quite strongly to the mutagen." Elina scribbled busily. "Clearly advancing as a mouse. Predictable, of course. It would be odd if you made anything else."
Daisy nodded at that. "Yeah. Mmm, go on, nice and easy." She lashed her tail as she was nursed from like that. "No bites, no force. You're doing it so well."
Dose trembled as her legs shortened, growing into mouse legs, feet and all, and her face began to change shape, the nose and mouth extending into a mouse-like muzzle. Her hands grew into paws. She sighed softly and snuggled in closer to Daisy, her eyes closed, suckling contentedly.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"One warning." Daisy put a hand on Dose's chest. "Mice are slender here, brood mice excepted. Prepare to be a slender little mouse girl." She reached down and tugged at Dose's pants, working them off her legs.
Elina watched with fascination, taking notes. "I've never had a chance to watch it happening in person before." She wagged her pen. "I've avoided being mutated even once, I'll have you know." Her notes resumed. "But it is progressing smoothly. Please track any discomfort you feel for later reporting."
Dose whimpered quietly as she felt Daisy tugging on her clothes, her body beginning to shift under the shirt. She was becoming more slender, losing all of the human softness to her form, looking more like a mouse than ever. Her muscles and fat redistributed to make her a nimble sprint runner instead of the marathon beast of a human.
Daisy went in to kiss Dose's cheek. "Elina, could you check if Dose is all done or if she needs more?"
Elina stepped forward and gently tugged on one of Dose's ears. "Yes, those are fully mouse ears." She reached down and tickled along Dose's legs. "And the feet are fully formed." She dropped down to move Dose's tail out of the way. "Yes, she is fully mutated at this point, I believe."
Dose slowly stopped nursing and looked up at Daisy with a grin. "Wow, that felt amazing!"
"Did it hurt?" Daisy ruffled the new mouse woman. "Or was it more of a tingly, itchy feeling? It's okay to tell me. I want to make you happy, after all."
"It was a bit itchy, but it didn't really hurt." Dose looked away and back. She nuzzled in between Daisy's breasts and let out an almost purr, nestling against her. "I'm just so tired now."
Elina stepped forward to rest a hand on Dose's shoulder. "She'll be fine, we can give her a place to sleep. It's been a big change."
Daisy raised a hand. "No." She glanced to where the reading was. Family nearby had increased to 1. "I think this mouse is mine." She stroked along Dose's neck and body with gentle, comforting motions.
Elina tilted her head. "Yours? Is she your child?"
"Nothing like that." Daisy smiled at the researcher. "More like a cherished close family. Like a cousin? Or a sister. Either way." She raised Dose so they could look eye to eye. "Do you want to go, or stay? Your choice."
Dose nuzzled in against Daisy's neck, her eyes closed as she soaked up all of the warmth. "Mmm, I'll stay right here, thanks."
Elina smiled and turned away. "Well, you're adults. You get to decide where you go." She returned to her desk with her papers. "You've given me plenty to ruminate over, and another thing to consider. You are a brooding species, it's in the name. Gathering a family is part of what you do, and you appear to have 'gathered' Dose. She's not fighting it, but that's hardly a surprise. Who would fight with such a lovely mouse woman?" She gave Daisy a gentle pat on the side of her arm. "Congratulations, you're not a monster, but you are living the life."
Daisy gently stroked over Dose, feeling her soft, smooth fur, the warmth of her body. A little smile was on her muzzle as she relaxed there, letting her sister rest. "I have to explain to the others what happened." She quirked an ear at Dose. "Hey, you still want to run your shop, don't you?"
Dose's pleasured glaze of a look shattered into clarity in an instant. "I do! Yes, I'll go back. I just wanted to be a mouse, that didn't change my goals. I like my shop."
Daisy nodded slowly. "I won't stop you. But you know where to find me now, okay?" She stood up slowly, reaching for her shirt. "If you need me, or just want to talk to me. You're welcome any time, sis." She tugged Dose's pants into her arms. "Here, you should take these. You'll need them."
Elina approached Dose with a measuring tape. "Would you mind if I took a couple of measurements before you leave?"
Dose colored gently, her awareness returned. "O-okay." She turned as Elina directed, allowing for all the measurements to be taken. "Wow, I really am a mouse." She looked herself over with wide eyes.
"You are." Daisy smiled. "You get to decide what that means for you, now. I'll be around for you, anytime you need me." She watched quietly, waiting for Elina to finish taking all of the measurements she wanted. "I can introduce you to other local mice, if you want to make friends." She quirked an ear. "One question though, aren't there human mutagens out there? Why not turn back to normal if you just didn't want to be halfway?"
"Because I like being a mouse!" Dose looked at Daisy with a smile on her face. "You don't turn into one of those without having some kind of interest in them. Just wasn't my plan." She rubbed at one of her newly expanded ears. "I also wanted to run into you. I wanted to taste it again. I wanted a lot of things, so thank you so very much."
Daisy nodded, pulling her shirt back on. She had to reach down to adjust herself inside it. "There's nothing wrong with enjoying what you like. I've been getting used to my tastes as well, and learning that it's alright for me to have them." She made a gentle shooing motion. "Now get. You have a store to run."
