In the last chapter, Mister Ryu and Ember continue their quest guided by an ancient tablet's clues. They face trials requiring intelligence and bravery, encountering a mysterious silhouette challenging them to confront their fears. After passing the trial, they find themselves in front of a grand temple, where they explore its intricate chambers. They discover ancient scrolls containing wisdom and encounter symbols on the walls. Mister Ryu finds a valuable black adamantine ore, and the hall undergoes a transformative event, unveiling further mysteries. The chapter ends with the promise of more revelations to come.

The hall was engulfed in a brilliant light, rendering it impossible to perceive or assess the situation. As moments slipped by, the radiant glow gradually dimmed, unveiling a significant transformation within the hall. The statues, once towering proudly in the hall, now bowed down in reverence before a statue depicting a mysterious figure. Approaching the statue, an altar emerged from below, bearing inscriptions and a small box. Decoding the inscriptions revealed that the statue belonged to the Iron Maiden.

"Mister Ryu remarked, 'The Iron Maiden appears to have been revered by the ancient civilization, suggesting she was a significant figure, perhaps even the ancestor of this land.'"

Observing the statue, I began to experience a similar feeling upon hearing the word "revenge." A throbbing pain in my head intensified as I tried to recall the identity behind the venerated maiden.

"Mister Ryu inquired, 'Ember, are you alright? You appear to be in pain.'"

With Mister Ryu's reassuring hand on my shoulder, I gathered my composure. As I glanced at the altar once more, surprisingly, no thoughts surfaced in my mind. I approached the altar, pondering the contents of the box within.

Taking a deep breath, I attempted to shake off the unsettling feeling that had settled over me. Despite my efforts, the pain in my head persisted, clouding my thoughts. Mister Ryu's concern mirrored my own unease, but his presence provided a sense of comfort.

With cautious steps, I moved closer to the altar, my curiosity piqued by the mysterious box. Its ornate design hinted at hidden secrets waiting to be revealed. As I carefully opened the box, I discovered a small parchment that resembled an ancient map. When Mister Ryu retrieved his own map, the parchment from the box flew toward the other piece and merged with it, transforming the ancient map.

The merging of the parchments brought a surge of anticipation, mingled with a touch of trepidation. As the ancient map transformed before our eyes, intricate symbols and cryptic markings became clearer, unveiling a detailed path that seemed to lead to an unknown destination.

“I have faith that this map will guide us to our next destination—a different temple of nature,” said Mister Ryu

Having thoroughly observed the temple, and meticulously collecting valuable resources, we initiated our departure from the sacred grounds. With our bags laden with the treasures found within, we embarked on the next leg of our journey, eager to decipher the mysteries awaiting us in the unexplored wilderness beyond the temple's confines.

Upon our descent from the highest summit of the mountain, a distinct sense of familiarity washed over us. As we ventured forward, our instincts were validated; our newly forged companions, the Iron Claw Clan, led by the indomitable Wolf King Gaza, stood before us. Their presence resonated with a shared purpose, uniting our paths in the unfolding journey ahead.

"It appears the temple has recognized your presence, and the purpose of your journey has been fulfilled," Gaza remarked.

"I am deeply thankful for your invaluable guidance and support," I spoke, my words filled with sincerity.

Gaza turned his gaze towards Mister Ryu and inquired, "What are your plans moving forward? Do you intend to depart from this region?"

"That's the intention," replied Mister Ryu.

"If it's agreeable to you, I would be honored if you both could join me on the journey to our territory," Gaza said in a deep, commanding voice. "There's an individual there who holds a keen interest in meeting the two of you. Your presence would be greatly valued, and it might provide valuable insights into the path that lies ahead for all of us."

Mister Ryu and I exchanged glances, silently communicating our mutual curiosity about this mysterious individual. Intrigued by Gaza's proposal, we agreed to accompany him to the Iron Claw Clan's territory. As we ventured onward, the landscape transitioned from the rugged terrain surrounding the temple to a lush, verdant forest. The atmosphere was imbued with a sense of ancient mystique, the trees whispering secrets of times long past.

Upon reaching the Iron Claw Clan's territory, we were greeted by a bustling community, their homes seamlessly integrated with nature. The air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers and the sounds of wildlife, creating an ambiance of serene harmony. Gaza led us to a grand hall, adorned with intricate carvings depicting legends and battles fought by the clan over generations.

As Ember and Mister Ryu settled into the vibrant community of the Iron Claw Clan, they found themselves drawn to the clan’s unique customs and rituals. They witnessed the mesmerizing dance of fireflies that the clan believed carried ancient messages from the ancestors. This nightly spectacle filled the air with an otherworldly glow, leaving Ember and Mister Ryu in awe of the clan’s connection to nature. Gaza walked us through the village as he spoke about the history of the Iron Claw Clan.

"They appear to be quite civilized," I remarked.

Inside, we met the enigmatic figure that Gaza had spoken of – a venerable elder with eyes that seemed to hold the wisdom of centuries. Their presence commanded respect, and as they spoke, their words resonated with a profound understanding of the world and its intricacies.

"I have been waiting for you," the elder said, their voice carrying the weight of experience. "The energies that surround you are unique. Said the Wolf elder.

Upon scrutinizing our group, the elder entered a cave, causing the Wolf King to grow uneasy. Upon his return, the elder carried the token Mister Ryu had given Gaza during our initial encounter as a symbol of friendship. Additionally, he presented another token, placing it before us.

"The emblem before you is our clan's symbol, bestowed upon the First Wolf King by an ancient being upon their arrival in these lands," the elder explained.

"So, you're saying you're not originally from this region?" I questioned.

"We may not have all the specifics, but our lineage is exceptional among the wolf clans. We are the descendants of the Blood Moon Lycan," the elder declared proudly.

"The ancient records state that the Blood Moon Lycans are considered the superior bloodline within the wolf beast clan, ranking among the top wolf lineages," Mister Ryu explained.

"With this token, you have the power to summon Gaza and his subordinates wherever you may be, seeking their assistance in battle," the elder explained.

"But forgive me for my curiosity; I wonder what prompts such a generous gift from your clan. What motives lie behind this gesture?" Mister Ryu inquired, his tone laced with genuine curiosity and a desire to understand the reasoning behind the elder's decision.

Why do you think was the Iron Claw Clan so generous to Ember and Mister Ryu?

If you also wish to find out about it then follow Ember and Mister Ryu on their journey.
