The Graves of Unknown
The ancient map in the hand of Ember showed the words ‘The Graves of Unknown.’ Following the route on the map to those words Ember and Mister Ryu find their way to a graveyard. The Graveyard is surrounded by many mysteries. What do you think Ember and Mister Ryu find there or waits for them there?
Aetheria the universe where Ember and Mister Ryu are currently in has many elements and magic surrounding them. It is a universe where strong control the weak.
In the last chapter, Mister Ryu and Ember embark on a quest guided by an ancient tablet's cryptic clues. They dismissed the notion of facing tomb raiders or undead foes, focusing on their journey. Following the map's changing instructions, they encountered a trial that required intelligence and prudence. A sentient stone tablet appeared, inquiring about its purpose and origin, leaving them puzzled as it crumbled. Undeterred, they ventured into darkness, where a Mental Magic challenge awaited.
Within the darkness, I discerned the silhouette of a man, his features shrouded in mystery. His voice resonated, echoing through the void. "To conquer this trial," he said, his words cutting through the darkness, "you must confront your deepest fears." His presence became a riddle, a challenge in itself. Summoning my courage, I faced the silhouette, determined to unravel this enigma and prove my mettle in the face of the unknown.
Summoning all my strength, I thrust forward, swinging my sword forcefully and causing deep cracks to form on the obsidian walls of the room.
Upon regaining consciousness, I found Mister Ryu administering first aid. Gathering my wits, I inquired about the situation, urging him to explain the scenario they were facing.
"What happened to me, Mister Ryu? How long was I unconscious? Did anything occur while I was out?" I asked, my expression filled with concern.
"Nothing significant occurred; you were unconscious for a brief period. So, how did your trial go? It appears you've passed your test," Mister Ryu said.
"I'm not entirely sure about the specifics, but I believe I saw someone familiar. Never mind that. How can you be certain whether I passed the trial or not?" I inquired.
"See for yourself; you might be surprised," Mister Ryu said, his expression carrying a sly grin.
Taking Mister Ryu's advice, I turned my gaze to the side and beheld a sight, unlike anything I had ever seen before. Before me stood a massive temple adorned with intricate sculptures and imposing warrior statues lining the path inside. The grandeur of the structure was awe-inspiring, leaving me utterly captivated. It was a testament to ancient craftsmanship and artistry, a marvel that stirred a sense of wonder and anticipation within me as I prepared to enter its mysterious depths.
While I've encountered similar sites in my past life as the Soul Queen, having such a temple on Earth was entirely unprecedented.

"It appears I've passed the test, but I can't recall its details or how I managed to succeed," Ember stated, her expression filled with confusion.
Preparing ourselves, Mister Ryu and I made our way toward the temple, our anticipation mingling with a sense of reverence as we approached the monumental structure. With each step, we felt a palpable energy, a combination of excitement and trepidation, knowing that within those ancient walls lay answers to the mysteries we sought. As we entered, the air seemed charged with an unspoken power, and our journey to unravel the secrets of the temple began in earnest.
Ember's perplexed gaze lingered on the temple's intricate carvings, her mind grappling with the vague memories of the past. Mister Ryu, sensing her confusion, placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, grounding her in the present moment. Together, we ventured deeper into the temple, the echoes of our footsteps resonating through the hallowed halls.
The interior of the temple was adorned with symbols and glyphs, ancient wisdom etched into the very stones. The air was thick with the scent of incense, and the soft glow of flickering candles illuminated the path ahead. Guided by an unspoken intuition, we followed the winding corridors, our senses heightened in anticipation of the revelations that awaited us.
In a chamber bathed in soft, ethereal light, we discovered a collection of scrolls, their pages yellowed with age. As we carefully unrolled them, the words of the ancient sages leaped off the parchment, weaving a tale of trials and wisdom, of seekers who had come before us. Each scroll revealed fragments of knowledge, puzzle pieces waiting to be assembled into a coherent understanding. The moment my fingers made contact with the scrolls, they ignited, the ancient parchment bursting into flames as though it was a deliberate reaction to an outsider's touch.
While I was exploring the hall, Mister Ryu beckoned me towards another corridor where a massive beam of light encased a small token. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the token was adorned with carvings of a maiden, and behind her, there was a text that read ‘Token of the Iron Maiden.’
"Is this the token you mentioned, Mister Ryu?" I inquired skeptically; my tone laced with doubt. "It doesn't appear as grand as you described."
While I spoke, I realized the hall had fallen silent for a while, and Mister Ryu was nowhere to be seen. I understood he was occupied with his task, but my curiosity about the temple grew, prompting me to start observing the hall more closely.
As I continued my observation of the hall, I noticed intricate carvings adorning the walls, depicting scenes from ancient legends and mysterious symbols that seemed to hold a deeper meaning. The air was thick with an aura of history and secrets, making the temple feel like a sanctuary frozen in time.
While I was engrossed in studying the hall, Mister Ryu surprised me by leaping onto my back from behind. Looking at Mister Ryu he seemed to be in a good mood.
Mister Ryu, you appear to be in high spirits. May I inquire about the reason for your happiness?" I said.
"Well, you won't believe what I just scored," Mister Ryu exclaimed with excitement, his voice filled with astonishment and delight.
While uttering the same words, Mister Ryu rummaged in his oversized backpack, and moments later, he pulled out a substantial chunk of ore.
"You discovered ore that's abundant throughout the region, even in the village we recently traversed," I remarked.
"It's not just any ordinary ore; it's an immense chunk of rare and precious black adamantine," Mister Ryu exclaimed, his eyes sparkling excitedly.
"The market value of this ore would be in the millions, and if auctioned at the right moment, it could even fetch a fortune," Mister Ryu explained, emphasizing the significant worth of the discovery.
As we continued our exploration, an abrupt transformation overtook the hall. A blinding ray of light, immense and radiant, enveloped the entire space, shrouding us in a dazzling brilliance that made it utterly impossible to see anything around us. Moments passed in awe-struck silence before the luminescence gradually subsided, unveiling the mysteries that lay ahead.
Guys if you also want to join Ember and Mister Ryu on their journey as they climb the islands, I have to tell you that you won’t miss it if you add us to your collections.
