📖Quick Fact:
Unbreakable Sky Body
Unbreakable Sky Body is achieved after practicing every stage of ‘Sky Body Resonance’ to perfection. The name ‘Sky Body’ signifies that the user’s capabilities reach such an elevated level that they seem to transcend human limitations and approach the realm of divine beings.
‘The Triad of Nature leads to the Temple of Trinity’
An infamous story that revolves around Earth states that if one successfully finds the three Relics of Nature on Earth, one can open the door that leads to the Temple of Trinity. No one has been able to find any information related to the Relics of Nature or even about the Temple of Trinity.
In the last chapter, we see that Ember had practiced the Body Refining stage of ‘Sky Body Resonance’ to the Intermediate level. She was prepared to start challenging the skies, but she couldn’t because she neither had a recommendation from a noble family nor any money to get the right to challenge the skies. To find a solution to her problem, she met Mister Ryu in the hope that he would help her. To her surprise, Mister Ryu had a third option: to find the three relics of nature and open the door to the Temple of Trinity that would contain something that would be helpful to her, but the journey to find the three relics of nature won’t be easy.
It's been a week since Mister Ryu and I discussed the journey, but Mister Ryu still hasn’t contacted me. During this week, I rigorously pushed my limits while continuing with the body tempering method and am on the verge of breaking through the Perfection stage of Body Refinement.
While waiting for Mister Ryu, I heard a knock on my door. I rushed to the door to see Mister Ryu standing there with a considerable backpack twice the size of his body.
He smiled at me and said, “Miss Ember, I hope you are ready for the exciting journey ahead. As I mentioned, it will be a dangerous journey, so I hope you are prepared.”
“Yes, yes, Mister Ryu, I know that already, but can you tell me where we are headed,” I asked.
“Well, our first destination is one of the world's edges. According to the ancient manuscripts that are in my possession, three locations on the edges of the earth are restricted to all people be it earthlings or even the sky climbers. No one has ever returned alive after going there, so there are high chances of finding the three relics of nature there,” he said.
“If such a place on Earth existed, why haven’t I heard about it? Or maybe if you tell me the name of the place, that might help,” I asked.
“According to the manuscripts, our first destination is ‘The Mountain of the Iron Maiden,’” he said.
“Why did it get such a name? Do you know any reason what can we expect to see there?” I asked curiously.
“The manuscripts show only the destination and contain no information regarding the place,” he said.
“Then I guess we can only go and look for ourselves what kind of place the Iron Mountain is,” I said.
Mister Ryu and Ember start their journey traveling through different villages and townships…
“By the way, Mister Ryu, what are you carrying in your bag that is twice your size,” I asked curiously.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
“Miss Ember, as you already know, I am a merchant, and this backpack carries all the necessary tools for excavating and collecting resources that I try and sell later,” he said.
“So you are a greedy merchant through and through,” I said in a funny tone.
“I’ll take that as a compliment, Miss Ember,” he answered.
Several days have passed, and Ember, accompanied by Mister Ryu, has traveled a long way, town to village, village to city, making several stops to freshen themselves after their tiring journey. After traveling for half a month, Ember and Mister Ryu have reached the final town before the world's edge. The village's name was Ironclave; it received its name because endless iron ore deposits surrounded it. Since this is the last village before the edge, a fog surrounds the border of the town, which often confuses the people and mislead them to their deaths, which makes it hard to make a living there. Because of the deaths due to the fog, it received the name Black Veil. It didn’t take long for Ember and Mister Ryu to find an excellent place to stay as no one visited the village, and few locals resided there. The population mainly consists of old people.
“Miss Ember, I suggest we stay here and gather some information about the fog and what’s behind the fog,” said Mister Ryu.
“Seems like a good plan, but I didn’t see many locals here,” I said.
“I suggest we talk to the village head as he may know something about it,” said Mister Ryu.
We got out of the shed and started walking around the village, trying to find someone we could talk to, we even knocked on a few doors but no one was willing to speak with us when suddenly we heard a voice from behind calling out to us.
“Hoo..Hoo..who do we have here? Not many people travel to the edge nowadays,” said in an old voice.
We turned around to see an old man in his sixties wearing shabby clothes with stitching done to them to fill up patches. Since no one interacted with us, we could only talk to him now.
“Hello there, my name is Ryu, and I am a merchant. We are here to research about the fog which has led many to their death,” said Mister Ryu.
Looking at Mister Ryu, Ember understands he is trying to keep their identities anonymous and plays along.
“Hoo.. so you are trying to find information about the fog, then you have met the right person. My name is Kogi, and I am the village head of Ironclave,” he said.
“You’re the village head?” I asked.
“Hoo.. Hoo.. I may not look old but I am in my sixties and have stayed in this village my whole life,” he said.
“So you can tell us about the mysterious fog?” asked Mister Ryu.
“I can tell you a thing or two, but if you want to know the whole story behind the fog, you should talk to the village elder. He has lived longer than me here in this village, but he is a stubborn person who doesn’t like to meet anyone,” he said.
Listening to the village head, Mister Ryu put his hand inside his pocket and the other hand on the village head’s shoulder.
“Well, Mr. Koji, could you help us arrange a meeting with the village elder,” said Mister Ryu while giving the village head a pouch full of gold coins.
“It’s not entirely impossible so I guess I can try to arrange a meeting, so until I do that, I hope you guys can wait,” said the village head, turning around and disappearing in the fog.
“I guess we can only wait until then, Miss Ember, so let’s return to our shed,” said Mister Ryu.
