Elias: Nothing to show for it? I am Elias Sataro. Son of the Sataro clan leader. S rank member of Elune, and in the process of ranking up to SS. Out of those here, I have the highest combat rating of 896,652. Though I’m never pushed far enough to show it. You have injured my allies, and damaged the Sataro name, Arthur Pendragon of Camelot, I will defeat you.
--- Chapter 142 ---
Arthur grins at Elias’s outbreak. He raises his hand, and in it, a normal-looking blade begins to form. Elias runs in, slashing both blades down, Arthur parries them and launches his own attack. The two trade blocked-blows, Elias spins around and twirls his blade, and in one swift motion, knocks Arthurs blade into the sky. It spins through the air, and Arthur looks into Elias’s eye shocked. Elias brings his blades back, ready to attack. Arthurs blade suddenly stops spinning mid-air, and rockets down toward Elias, forcing him to stop his attack and leap backward. Several more blades for and fire. Elias leaps back again and again, and backflips on the last one, landing on one knee. The swords evaporate into golden dust. Four blades form behind him, and fire. Elias slashes and blocks against each one, and throws his blades in. They spin and arc toward Arthur. Two halberds appear aiming down, and cross over one another, blocking and breaking the two swords. Sole has a worried look on his face, as well as Elune. Arthur, however, has a cocky look. Suddenly those two broken blades begin to become wavy and form into two broken longswords with a bronze blade. They look incredibly simple and rather dull.
Arthur: I must admit when it comes to actually attack or at the very least sword skills, you’re not terrible.
Elias: Your words mean nothing.
Elias says as he stands back up.
Arthur: Watch your tongue, mongrel.
Elias: I already know my skills worth.
The seals on the backs of his hands glow, and in his palms, one of those plain swords form in each. They begin to morph and change into Amaterasu, and Tsukuyomi. He runs in, arcing his blades down to attack. Two weapons from to block, and Elias push’s off of them into a backflip, and mid backflip, a sword flies toward him, and he twists acrobatically to deflect it. As he lands, He sees multiple blades coming from all around. He leaps into the air as they stab into the ground where he once stood. While in the air, four weapons form around in and launch in. He controls his body, twisting and parrying two of the blades, and knocking them into the other two. As he lands, he dashes forwards, slashing inward with both blades. He comes face to face with Arthur. Arthurs smug look, and Elias’s determination. Above Elias, a golden gate similar to the gate that had opened when the chains were used on Sole. He stops his attack, taking a few steps back. The chain rockets out of the gate, and before it hits the ground, another gate opens, and the chain plunges into it. Several gates are opening, sending these chains all over. Elias masterfully dodges, maneuvering his body, using acrobatics, and perfectly timed parries. He throws Amaterasu into the air and holds out Tsukuyomi. A second blade begins to form at the bottom of Tsukuyomi’s hilt, and a blue thread connects the two. He grabs the string and pulls back, creating a spectral red arrow and firing. He lifts his hand up and grabs Amaterasu. A blade forms and shoots, causing the arrow to ricochet away. Arthur smirks but then is confused because he can’t see Elias. He looks up and notices Elias soaring down towards him with the power of Amaterasu. Tsukuyomi reverts to shortsword form. He brings the swords down on Arthur. Two blades form to block, and Elias pushes off of it, and twirls through the air with Amaterasu, slowing down above Arthur. Tsukuyomi turns into bow form, and he pulls back the string. A more violent arrow is created. Arthur looks up at him and begins to run forward, as eight of the violent shots rain down at him, dodging each one narrowly. Elias lands on the ground and begins to run toward Arthur. A weapon forms and Arthur grabs it and throws it with spin toward Elias. Elias jumps into a roll under it, landing in a position on one knee, firing an arrow. Arthur leaps into the air and crosses his arms. Arthur stands suspended in the air, looking down at Elias. Four gates begin to materialize. And from them, multiple blades come flying out at Elias. Elias, masterful with his footwork, step around at fast paces and dodge the stream of weaponry. One comes close to hitting him, but Amaterasu hits it off course and returns to his hand, as Tsukuyomi reverts. The swords turn into dust. Arthur lands, less amused than before. One sword begins to form in Arthur’s hand. This sword is golden, and more fancy-looking, but doesn’t seem out of the ordinary. They look at each other before dashing in and appearing behind the other. A massive clash of sparks and metal appear when it didn’t even look like their blades connected. They turn around, a second blade forming in Arthurs off hand. They begin to slash at each other, with their blades connecting at every moment. Elias’s blades continue to break Arthurs, but he continues to replace them with an assortment of weaponry faster than they break. Four gates open up beneath Elias. Elias jumps back as large great swords are fired from them. Arthur points at Elias and as he does, he becomes surrounded by golden gates. All around, above, and every way but below. A torrent of blades begins to release, and as Elias moves incredibly fast, he begins to block every blade. But, one blade, enters his left shoulder, sending fear through all of Elune that’s watching. A single wound, that begins to throw Elias into a steady decline, his movements slower, less refined, deflects a couple more before a blade enters his back. Continuing to tire and slow, several blades enter him as he is blocking the onslaught. The last three blades fire, the first two break both his blades and the last enters his leg, forcing him to kneel. The gates close, and the weapons in his body fade to nothing. Elias picks himself up and puts his hand on his wounded shoulder. He looks the grinning Arthur down with pure determination, unwavering from the previous event.
Arthur: Ready to give up? If you concede, I may let you off the hook.
Elias: Are you that much of a fool to think I would betray my own reason for fighting, and bow to you?
Arthur recoils from his statement and meets his eyes with rage.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Arthur: Never mind then, I’d rather watch you DIE!
He pushes his hands forward, causing several gates to open behind him, and launch a tidal wave of blades.
Elias: Master seal, second point through sixth!
Five points on his seal glow and make their way to the center. It then creates four semi-translucent barriers all layered in front of the last, and then a green ball forms around him, healing his wounds. The blades mash into the first barrier, and Elias grabs his right wrist with his left hand.
Elias: I have forged over a thousand blades...
As he chants, the seal on the back of his hand begins to shift, its lines crawl around his hand to his palm. Arthurs weapons crack and shatter the first barrier.
Elias: I have practiced for over ten thousand hours. I have learned and mastered almost all of the Sataro techniques...
The second, followed by the third barrier breaks, leaving one last barrier protecting him. The lines on the seal reform into a new, different-shaped seal.
Elias: Through my blood and my body. My sweat and my tears. I have poured my life and soul into the craft. RELEASE! SATARO STYLE! BLADE WORLD!
He drives his palms into the ground, and it extends along with the dirt, causing the floor of the whole ring to be engraved with the glowing green seal. And from the ground, hundreds of the bronze blades emerge from the ground, all stabbed into the earth. His right-hand seal is now greyed out.
Arthur: Oh?
Arthur says looking around with a smirk. Five blades form behind him, but before they could launch, five of the bronze blades lift from the ground and swat them out of the air. A wave of surprise runs through Arthur. Eight blades rise up behind Elias and aim at Arthur, who is now seemingly enraged.
Arthur: Enough, enough, enough, enough, enough, enough!
Ten of the golden gates appear behind him. Blades begin to be showered toward Elias. The eight blades rocket forward to intercept, and multiple blades rise from the earth to do the same. The blades get close to Elias, but never fully make it. The gates close, and Elias reaches up to the seals on his shoulders. And from them, he withdraws the true, and original Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.
Elias: Exalted.
The weapons form into incredibly intricate, and much larger greatsword versions of themselves. A few more gates open around Arthur. Three blades fire and he swings Tsukuyomi, deflecting all of them. He leaps with the power of Amaterasu and deflects six more. And with incredible speed, fires right toward Arthur. He brings both blades down as two swords appear to block. The swords begin to crack, and Arthur leaps backward as they shatter to avoid being hit. He jumps behind three of his gates that angle themselves toward Elias, before firing a single blade from each. Elias swings his blades, deflecting all of them, but suddenly, raining from above, are roughly one hundred blades, all at him. He leaps backward as they stab into the ground with incredible power, causing the ground, and even the arena to quake. Elias stabs his swords into the ground and motions his hands forward. Ten of the bronze blades fly above Arthur in a line, and a seal on Elias’s stomach glows. As this happens, the swords hovering above ripple, and transform into ten large swords that are roughly six inches thick, a blade width of ten inches, and a length of 9 feet. Arthur forcefully leaps back as these blades are driven into the ground. It is now that Arthur notices Elias’s weapons disappear into a green particle after use, and are seemingly not replicating or producing more. Arthur finds this amusing.
Arthur: I will agree with you, you are the strongest amongst your peers. You destroyed Aeon, which allowed me to use Aeon moves and manipulate my phantasmal hands. When Aeon is killed, it takes a while to recharge before it becomes useful again. So I thought I could handle you with just my vault, however, you are too strong for that. Rejoice in my praise while you can, mongrel.
A weapon rises from a gate into his hand. It is a golden blade, designed with eloquence. The pristine blade shimmers even without light on it. Elias makes his bronze swords rise, and fly towards Arthur. Arthur turns the blade into a reverse grip and stabs it into the ground. The glowing symbol that emblazons the ground shatters, causing all the swords to stop the momentum, and fall. As it shatters, Elias’s right arm becomes covered in wounds.
Arthur: Long ago, my ancestors ruled over this entire land, in a city known as Babylonia. But, when the last king’s son returned home, Babylon had vanished. With their absence, many people formed their own kingdoms in our land. In response, he and his allies built up Camelot. And in a definitive battle during the race war, Camelot was victorious. Through our sacrifices, we were noticed by the gods and given the blessing of the kaiser of wealth. In my hand, I hold the sword of Camelots first king. The sword’s name, Pakio, the anti-magic blade.
Arthur points the blade at Elias. He pulls Pakio back as if he is going to stab it forward. A divine light begins to circle around it, creating a holy whirlwind.
Arthur: Holy Rapture.
He stabs the blade forward and releases a large beam of divine energy towards him. Elias grabs Tsukuyomi from the ground and spins it.
Elias: Null!
The spinning Tsukuyomi’s rotation becomes so fast, it looks like a jet black disc. As the beam hits it, it is consumed by the blade. Elias takes a sigh of relief but then notices the black disc begin to crack.
Elias: What?!
Arthur: Did you already forget? Pakio is the Anti-Magic sword.
Elias: I need to win. I need to win now!
Elias grabs a bronze blade to his side and causes it to turn into a clone of Tsukuyomi. He jumps into the sky, Tsukuyomi turns into the bow, and Amaterasu turns into an oddly short rapier with a spiraling pattern down the blade. The Null breaks and the beam smashes into the wall behind him. Elias places the Rapier in the bow, and pulls back, causing it to extend. The rapier becomes enveloped in violent red energy. The beam disappears, and Arthur looks up at Elias. Elias releases the bolt, and it flies right toward Arthur. Arthur swings Pakio to hit the blade out of the air. However, right before he hits it, it vanishes and appears behind his swing.
Arthur: What?!
The tip sinks into Arthurs’s chest. The first attack to hit.
Elias: Now! AMATERASU!
The blade glows and explodes into a large ball resembling the sun. Elias lands on the ground. He gets a smile.
Elias: I did it.
He murmurs through exasperated breaths. The sun causes Sole to swell up at an increased rate, and he pulls his limbs inward, causing the chains to snap. He had gotten too strong, too fast, causing the chains to not be strong enough. Sole walks up behind Elias.
Sole: Not bad.
Elias: Thanks.
They look at this ball of raw power.
Arthur: I’ve had enough of these games.
The sound of two blades clashing rings out, and the sun gets split from side to side, causing it to rise in half before the sun energy swirls around and falls into the normal Amaterasu. Arthur is now donning a fantastical set of golden armor, all but a helmet included.
