Hearing Tianyu's words, all the elders were angered by it.

"Who does this brat think he is to threaten the Qin Family?!" One of the elders shouted out.

At this moment, the doors to the main hall were pushed open. "He is my son." a powerful voice reverberated.

Tianyu's eyes turned cold as he heard what Qin Zhao Ren had said.

Zhao Ren walked into the room beside Tianyu, he then nudged one of the bodies with his foot and continued, "Decisive, domineering, and ruthless," he praised "You really are my son." he laughed.

Tianyu wanted to refute his words, but he couldn't. What he said was the truth.

"Li Mei will be fine, do you really think that I, Qin Zhao Ren, would pick a weakling to be my woman?" Tianyu was unsure if he was trying to comfort him, or just bragging. But he was unhappy with his choice of words.

Zhao Ren turned to Tianyu and looked him up and down. "What? You're not going to pay respects to your father?"

Trying to hold back his anger, Tianyu replied "What father? I was abandoned by mine. I don't recognize you."

Everybody in the room seemed to hold their breath, not knowing how Zhao Ren would react to the provocation.

Zhao Ren broke out into laughter "Hahahaha! Gutsy too!" he once again praised. The laughter soon came to an end, and Tianyu felt the familiar feeling of intense pressure. Much stronger than before. "However, you are also arrogant, foolish, brazen, disrespectful and insolent!" Each word was punctuated by an increase in pressure.

Tianyu wasn't able to stand this level of pressure, especially after already having dealt with it a few times already. He found himself beaten to the floor.

"Regard this as your first lesson from your father," Zhao Ren spoke. "Li Mei stays here. As of this moment, you are a member of the Qin Family again. You will stay here and be properly educated." This matter was no longer up for discussion.

Tianyu's feelings at this point are chaotic. He wants nothing more than to break free from this place with his mother, but he knows he is unable to. At the same time, as a member of the Qin Family, he would have access to resources in order to make him stronger, his mother would also be protected once more by her status.

After the pressure eased, Tianyu struggled to get to his feet.

"I have conditions," Tianyu spoke wearily

Interrupted by another elder off to the side, "Conditions?! What gives you the right to demand anything?! You should be on your knees thanking us for allowing you back into the Qin Family!"

Tianyu wasn't a fool, the Qin Family wouldn't go through all of this trouble if he wasn't valuable to them.

Ignoring this elder's provocation, he looked towards the family head. before continuing. "Will you listen to my conditions, or should I leave now?"

After a moment of silence, "Speak" which confirmed Tianyu's theory of him being valuable.

Tianyu couldn't push his luck too far, he didn't know just how valuable of an asset he was yet.

he spoke his conditions, "I want a private villa with a large courtyard and my mother stays with me, just how it was before. I have two servants, I want them to join me. Lastly, I want access to training materials and resources. Those are my conditions."

The family head nodded in agreement, "I will assign the lake villa to you, it should be large enough for your needs. Your servants can join you, however, they will be your responsibility. As for the training materials and resources, these will be provided based on your own abilities. We will not waste precious materials."

A few grumbles were heard from the surrounding elders, however, none had the courage to dispute the family head's decision.

The family head concluded business for the time being and ordered one of the servants to take Tianyu to see his mother.

When Tianyu arrived at where his mother was, she was already awake, with a doctor talking to her. She was relieved once she saw that Tianyu was fine. Tianyu explained the situation and everything that had happened. Although Qin Li Mei was unhappy with the Qin Family, she also knew that right now it was the best place for Tianyu to be. She knew that he had awoken his cultivation recently but she was unable to provide anything to aid him. He can receive all of that here.

Tianyu was shown to the lake villa, it was private and secluded as he requested, however, it was also much more grandiose than he assumed. In comparison to his living situation before, this was akin to night and day. He quickly settled his mother in before explaining about Yinying and his sister. How they would be following him from now on, and living here with them. Other than being a little surprised, she was proud of her son for not turning a blind eye to people in need.

He said his goodbyes and left the villa. He called over one of the servants he saw running around and asked to be shown the way to the main gate. A while later as he was about to leave through the main gates, he was accosted once again by some guards. He didn't get mad at these guards as they were just doing their job, he politely explained the situation to them. Confirming that everything was fine, Tianyu was allowed to leave, but not before being given a token by one of the guards, so that he would be able to return without going through this process each time.

At this point in the day, the sun was starting to set. Tianyu made his way back to the home he shared with his mother for most of his life. Once he made it back, he saw that the gate had since been cleared up and moved out of the way. He called out to Yinying and his sister, unsure if they would even still be there. Thankfully, the two quickly ran over to Tianyu and bowed to him.

"Welcome back, master" they echoed.

Tianyu nodded at them and proceeded to explain the situation. He told them that he would no longer be living here, but that they would be coming with him to live elsewhere. He went over and knocked on the gate to the Hao's. Once again he was greeted warmly and enjoyed a quick conversation with Madam Hao, before speaking to and explaining the situation to Mister Hao. He once again thanked him for his help, before heading back.

Tianyu spent a little time grabbing a few things, mainly things his mother cherished and would feel upset if she lost. He didn't bother to grab anything for himself. During this time, the delivery from the stable came, and Yinying dealt with this. Tianyu was satisfied with his quick thinking. It didn't take long for everything to be ready. He saddled up Red Hare and used her to carry things. "I should have brought a carriage," he noted to himself.

Setting back off, with the children, Red Hare, and Xiao Lei in tow, they all made their way to the Qin Family residence.

Although unhappy about the way things are right now, Tianyu vows to himself that he will use the Qin Family for their resources and their protection. This will be the starting point on his path to power.
