I'm so excited about this that I had to create a separate post just to share!

I received this illustration back from the artist this weekend. I think it's kickass!

This is by artist Yam Spectrum. What I love most is the detail... the spatial storage cat collar, the kitten patterned swim trunks. Even the pine trees in the background, which look just like the ones around the Okanagan Lake. I love the shine on the serpent queen's writhing snake swarm hair as well.

The Cursed Length of Rope is just like I envisioned it... the hungry mouth!

And Ernie! Hee. Love it!

A note as well that the next chapter might be slightly delayed. Writathon is winding down and although I’ve realized that I won’t make the 55K word count goal, I’m still pleased with my output in April. I mostly entered so that I could receive the XP reward so I could give out 10 rep instead of 5 per comment. I'm sad that I couldn't get that for you. :-(

But I wrote more than 30K words. Realizing I had no chance of writing the remainder required in the amount of time left allowed me to reflect on a few chapters that were released to Patreon. I've worked my way through revisions this weekend, but I still need to revise about five more chapters before I can work on the next release. It'll likely be quick, but normally I'd be working on the next chapter this weekend and instead I've been editing.

Hence the delay.
