Chapter 11
(Author's POV)
5 days has went by, and it's almost at the end of Summer, and Spring is about to come. Unlike in Earth, the world where the other Shin lives, in this world, February, January, and such doesn't exist, and they merely rely on the changes of the seasons.
There are 4 seasons in this world, Summer, Spring, Fall, and Winter, with 12 months a year, and 30 days each month. Spring starts in March and end in May, Summer starts in June and end in August, Fall/ Autumn starts in September and end in November, and Winter starts in December and end in February.
So if someone said "it's already 27th of the early Spring" it means it's 27th of March. And as Summer ends, it's the season of abundance and harvest, as many exotic plants and herbs blooms in this season.
For 5 days, Shin pass his time by continuingly mined some minerals and ores in the [Island of Unexplored Treasure], trying to collect as much materials he needed, as much as he can.

(Creeper's POV)
"This feels like playing mining stimulator"
I said, as I looked at the horde of loots that I have garner for 5 days, placed inside in a sack, which I didn't brought home with me, and merely store here.
After gathering this much, I then planned on making my 1st ever equipment using my blacksmithing skills, and try to master my ability as a Smith.
.....
After getting back to my home, I then rested after I have stored everything I needed for tomorrow, and checked all the equipment I will be using are still usable and in condition.
.....
Chirp Chirp Chirp Chirp Chirp
As morning came, I then woke up and started my day by eating my meal, and took a nice, cool bath. Afterwards, I then tended my crops by hoeing the field, cleaning the area, watering the crops, and weeding the field.
When I am done, I then started practicing my smithing skill
"And I think I should have stored more Copper and Iron for this training"
I jokingly stated. I then went to the shed, prepared the old Forge, which is just next to the Furnace, brought out the old iron hammer and tongs, and an anvil, which is stored at the right side of the Forge. After I have gathered everything, I then started heating the Forge using the pieces of [Coal Ore], as they produce a strong heat source. I then take out 1 [Iron Ore] from the sack, and place it inside the Forge after it was well heated up. I then just waited until I noticed that the Iron was, well, good to go I guess?
Stolen story; please report.
I don't really know much, but I used the Tongs to check if the Iron is now good, but not much changes happened. But as most videos I have seen, when the Iron produced a bit orange hue, that's a good indication that it was already heated up(?), so I then picked it up from the Forge, placed it atop of the Anvil, tightly grab my hammer, place the heated Iron at the right place, raise the Hammer, and
Thung!
"!!"
Thud
And just then realized that it wasn't yet ready, in a hard way
"Damn, my arm feel shit!"
I curse, as I felt my arm get electrocuted, just like how you accidentally elbowed the edge of a wall. My left hand also felt pained, when the end of the tong I am holding vibrated. After a couple of swaying of my arms, I then place the Iron back in the Forge. After a couple of waiting, when it turns red, I then took it out from the Forge, and once again tried hammering it, but this time
"[Smite]!"
Bang!
Though I still felt the pain in my arm, but it wasn't the same level of pain I felt at my 1st try. I changed the position where my hand holds, I then raise the hammer back again and
"[Smite]!"
Bang!
"... [Smite]!"
Thang!
"... [Smite]!"
Pang!
"... [Smite]!"
Tang!
"... [Smite]!"
Thang!
"!!"
And when I felt that the Iron got hard again, and noticed that it that it doesn't emit any reddish heat, so I then place it back to the Forge, waited for a bit - after the Coal truly heated up, it easily heat the Iron up in a few seconds - then place it back atop of the anvil, and.
"[Smite]"
Bang!
Started hammering again
"... [Smite]"
Thang!
"... [Smite]"
Tang!
"... [Smite]"
Bang!
Thang!
Bang!
Tang!
Thang!
"... [Smite]"
Bang!
"Haah..... Hah.... Fouuu~"
I then placed it back to the Forge again, heating it up. With a short rest, I tried to grasp my breath before I take the Iron out from the Forge
'Maybe I should rest before heating it up again'
"... [Smite]"
Bang!
And started hammering again
"... [Smite]"
Thing!
"... [Smite]"
Thung!
"... [Smite]"
Bang!
"... [Smite]"
Thing!
"Woah!
Thud!
I yelp in surprise, as the hammer accidentally slip from the Iron I was hammering, almost hitting my left knee. It then fell off from my grasp, and landed behind my right.
"Hah.... Hahh... Haah....."
With the strong heat from the Forge and the Iron, I was sweating like crazy, even my throat almost dry out. Unlike in the tunnel and in the empty nest, I can rest in interval if I felt tired, but in here? I can't
'Or I could?'
I just noticed during the process that the Iron will quickly cool off, ending it to be hard to hammer, so I need to reheat it again, and after reheating it, I need to take it out and hammer again, and repeat.
After I have rested a bit, I then took out some Coal in the Forge, as I wanted to minimize the time it will take to reheat the Iron, and place back the Iron, and started the forging process again.
"... [Smite]"
Thing!
"... [Smite]"
Thung!
.....
After a long process of hammering the Iron, which I made some changes by extending my rest time, while decreasing the hammering process, I was able to flatten it, lengthening its side. From 10 x 15 cm (W x H), it was then tripled.
After hammering it, I was then left standing without anything to do, or like I don't know what to do next. After flattening the Iron, I was planning to move to the shaping stage, or the part where I need to make this Iron into a sword, which is I don't know how. I was looking at the anvil and around the forging area, to find any tools that will help me shape this metal into a sword, which I can't find.
I was even thinking maybe they grind it to make those pointy tip, or some other thing, but looking at this small rectangular shaped metal, I don't know if shaping is the next step.
"Forget about sword, can I even make a knife out of this?"
I questioningly thought. The shape is uneven, there's some bulk in the surface of the Iron, and some part of the Iron is much bigger than the rest. I might have watched some videos in blacksmithing, but I didn't really pay much attention to it. I really thought that if I choose a certain class, I could get some information on how things should work, like some guidelines you see in games, which I didn't get.
The book didn't explain anything regarding how those [Class] work, just information about those classes, and nothing more. Not knowing what to do next, I just left the area - after tidying the workplace, which took me some time - and postponed my blacksmithing training, for now

*The 1st introduced coin was made from a combination of, or either from copper, silver, and gold. Each country has different origin, with different shape and size.
**Shin is using a ruler to measure the length, width, and diameter of any material he has. The ruler only have inches carves to it, he can just convert it.
