After finishing the medical check-up and was certify healthy again, I was discharge from the hospital on the morning of the second day of weekend.

Since it’s still early, I went back to my dormitory first. Along the way, I spotted Takaki doing his normal routine workout. I try to avoid any interaction with him as I doesn’t want to disturb his workout. So I walk around the area to avoid him.

Eventually I reach back to my room. Since the Dining Hall is still closed, I decide to head to the library to look up on what I’ve miss during my time in hospital.

Before heading to the library, I first check my school email on my personal laptop. As I browse through, I received an email from Hiro and couple from Yuki and Louise. Other than them, I also receive one from Instructor Becker with an attachment on the email. The attachment that Instructor Becker send was a list of chapters from different subjects that have been went through during class, with that he also put in a comment at the end of the email.

After finish checking and reading through the emails, I reply back and informing Yuki, Hiro and Louise that I would be in the library for the whole day. As for Instructor Becker, I thanked him for the list of chapters to looked through.

Before heading to the library, I prepare the necessary study material for each subjects and wrote down the list to looked through on a piece of paper.

Once I’m done prepared, I went straight to the library and begin looking through the bookshelf for reference book.

For now there’s 4 subjects to go through; WCD, History, Mathematical and Infrastructure. Also includes 2 assignment to research.

I started with History first since it’s the easier compare to the other 3.

After a few hours, I completed 1/3 of the chapter for History and decided to take a break. Since the Dining Hall is already open, I decide to have breakfast before completing the rest of the chapter for History.

While I entering the Dining Hall, I spotted Yuki and Hiro came in from the opposite entrance. I walked towards their direction to greet them, after a while Hiro spotted me and inform Yuki. Than both of them walked towards me.

We end up meeting near the middle of the Dining Hall. I than greet them normally, Hiro greet back normally but as for Yuki…

[‘sniff’, ‘sniff’… ‘sniff’, ‘sniff’…]

There’s teardrops flowing out from Yuki eyes as she try to wipe it away. I approach her and pat her head while apologies to her.

She then hug me while crying out with an overflowing tears raining down from her cheek. As I saw her in this state, I hug her back and thought to myself.

I continue to apologies to her while trying to calm her down.

About 15 minutes later, she eventually calm down. While we having our breakfast, I told them what happen during the duel and why I haven’t came back after a couple days.

After finishing our breakfast, Hiro went back to the dormitory while Yuki follow me back to the library to help with my studies.

As we reach back to the library, I continue with the remaining chapters for History. With Yuki help, I manage to complete the chapter for History within a few hours. After that, I decided to continue with the subject on WCD. Yuki and me then go around the library in search of reference book on the functions, capabilities and design on the WCD.

By the time we gather the reference book back to our area, it was already noon time. We then decide to have lunch first. As we were heading to the Dining Hall, we stumble upon Louise who is walking down from level 2.

[Oh… Hey there Louise.]

[Ah Afann, hi.]

After we greeted each other, I then introduce Yuki to Louise. Since both me and Yuki are going to have our lunch, I ask Louise if she would like to join us as well. She accept it and we head to the Dining Hall together. We chatted along the way.

[Oh right, I received your message this morning. Sorry I couldn’t meet up with you as I was having community meeting this morning.]

[No worries, since we still ended meeting up.]

As we have our lunch, I told Louise the same thing as what I told Yuki and Hiro. As I told her, the expression she make seem as she know what had happen. Curios, I ask her directly.

[Louise, did you already know what happen?]

[Ah, uh well…]

The way she responded to my question tells me that she’s hiding something. As much as I want to know, I refrain myself from asking any further.

[Uh, its ok if you do want to talk about it.]

[Ha-ha… sorry about that.]

After we ate finished, we went back together to the Intelligence Building. As we reach inside the building, we went our separate ways. Me and Yuki head back to our study area while Louise went back to the community room.

As we reach back to our area, we continue with our studies. Few hours has pass by, and I manage to complete the chapters for WCD. The current time is near to dinner time, so I suggested to Yuki that I would stop here for now and continue the remaining subject and the assignment tomorrow after class. She agree to it and we return all the reference book respectively before heading to have our dinner.

After dinner, we make our way back to the dormitory and head to our respective room. I wash up and prep for tomorrow class before went to bed.

--The following day--

It’s morning and I woke up earlier than expected. I got up and get myself ready. Before heading to class, I decide to get breakfast first. Along the way, I met Takaki. I approach and greeted him, but unexpectedly he greeted me back and asked how’s my condition. I told him the same thing what I told the others and his expression seem to be very calm after I told that I went Yuki yesterday.

After seeing his expression, I thought to myself “Is he really worried about me”. We then continue chatting along the way to the Dining Hall and ate breakfast together before heading to class.

The lesson started as per-normal but some of my classmates were shocked to see me. But it is no surprise, because it was unheard off a Blue Circuit Holder defeating a Yellow Circuit Holder.
