Early morning before sunrise…

I woke and do the similar routine, get ready and head to the cafeteria to get breakfast.

As I walked toward the cafeteria, I accidentally bump into someone as I was lost in thought from what Yuki mention yesterday.

I immediately apologize to the person.

As I look who it was, I saw a small girl on the floor.

[Ah, are you okay?]

I give a hand and help her up.

[Yeah, I’m fine.]

[I’m really sorry, I was in lost in thought so I didn’t see where I’m going.]

As I looked at her, I recall seeing her before.

[…Ah, are you perhaps the person who give out the pins to the first year on the first day.]

I asked her with caution.

She then stares at me for a while.

She suddenly answered in a loud voice and it startle me.

Along the way I ask Louise some question.

I answered in curious.

We continue walking towards the cafeteria and along the way I asked her some question related to the school system, etc.

In the cafeteria, we meant Yuki and had our breakfast together before headed to our separate ways.

In the morning classes, we went through each invader characteristic till noon.

Lunch time…

We all gather outside the classroom before headed to the cafeteria for lunch.

Along the way Hiro bring up a question to me.

[Afann, honestly speaking here, do you think you can win the duel?]

[Hiro, what are you talking about?]

[Well, from the looks of it Yuki’s looked more worried then you. So, you can say I’m asking on her behalf.]

From what Hiro say it’s true. To them I don’t look much worry. But…

I remain silent as we continue walking.

As we reach the cafeteria, we stumble upon Sam.

Sam stared at me and start laughing as he walks pass.

Ron looked at me and he let out a sigh of disappointment as he continues walking.

[I feel sorry for you man.]

Hiro said it as he patted me on the back and walk off.

As both has walk off, Yuki look at me and gave a worry smile and ask.

[Are you ok?]

[Yeah, I’m alright. We should get going.]

I answered her with a slight smile and we continue walking to get lunch.

After lunch break, we head to the training ground for practical lesson.

I continue practice as usual till late night and have late dinner.

Well visiting the cafeteria, I stumble across Louis.

[Oh, hey Afann. What you’re doing here late at night? And it seems you haven’t gone back to your dorm since you still wearing your uniform.]

[Evening Louis. I just finish my practice and now I’m getting dinner.]

[Practice?]

Louise asked as she seen curious.

[Ah, well it like this…]

I told her the whole situation as I get my dinner.

She listens intensely without saying a word and as I finish explaining the situation, Louise then say a few words.

[Just remember, don’t give-up even if you think you’re going to lose the duel and give everything you have and leave no regret, alright.]

[Yup, and anyway, it’s quite late. I’m going off first, see you around Afann.]

She stand-up and walk-off after leaving the words of encouragement for me.

As she left, I continue my dinner and head back to the dorm.

4 more days to duel.

The following day in the classroom.

As we were having our lesson, a young woman enters our classroom and approach Instructor Becker.

After the instructor Becker nodded, she turns towards us and ask.

[May I see Afann outside the classroom now.]

I not sure why but I got-up and went outside.

She then hand-out a piece of paper to me.

[I need you to read them and acknowledge it by signing your signature.]

[Oh, alright.]

[By the way, my name is Jane Froster and I’ll be the one that oversees your duel.]

Oh, I did recall that the principle said that an instructor will oversees our duel. So, she the one ah, look quite young to be instructor to me.

[Ah, nothing at all. So, I just need to sign, right?]

I unaware that I stare at her for quite long and respond her nervously.

Her face is quite pretty and has a great body figure. I can’t believe she a military instructor.

[Yes, just sign where indicated. Also, the duel will be on Day 1 and it’s during morning.]

[You will be excuse from morning class and the result of the duel will be relay to your respective instructor. The time is the same when class start, so don’t be late for the duel.]

I sign the form and pass back to her. As she walk-off, I went back to the classroom and continue listening to the lesson until lunch time.

Lunch time.

[Hey, what’s that about just now?]

Hiro asked as Ron and Yuki walking towards me.

[Nah, it’s nothing. Just something related to the upcoming duel.]

[So, what time is it. We want to watch the duel too. I bet Yuki also want too, right?]

[Oi Hiro.]

Yuki replied with annoy.

[Well, I think it’s impossible since it’s during morning, so it will clash with the lesson.]

[Is that so. It can’t be help then.]

Yuki answered with disappointment since she unable to watch.

[Don’t worry about it. Anyway, we should get our lunch before lunch time is over.]

We all then proceed to the cafeteria and had our lunch.

During the practical lesson, we train on CQC for the whole lesson.

For today I decided to take a rest as well as the following 2 days before the duel, so I went back together with the rest.

After having our dinner, we all went back to the dorm.
