“Oh, my apologies, to speak such words to you, please regard it as grumbling to myself. Anyway, it seems that, that ‘Fool’ isn’t here or maybe it’s only just a senseless rumors as expected? Anyhow, my reason for coming here has been for naught it seems…”
“T, then, will you leave now?”
“Hm? Of course, there’s no meaning for me to be here anymore but I am furious for alerting me on such lies. As a punishment for calling me here in vain, I shall make this place a playground for my servants…”
“Playground… for your servants…?”
The sudden declaration made Draig speechless.
A divine God’s decree could not be a lie. Though there was no evidence, Draig believed so.
“Correct! But fear not after they’re done, you all shall become my new servants in the upcoming war.”
How can we not fear it?
However, against the voice of the god declaring divine punishment, Draig was unable to object and could only tremble on the side.
Although his expression was dark, he dared not retort against the god’s outrageous decision.
Humiliation, impotence, and anger at himself.
Many intense feelings surfaced in his heart.
No matter what, even if he possessed some amazing strength in the end he was just an ordinary mortal.
No matter how he forced himself, he cannot defeat a god, it was just a setback… that’s it.

As the commotion and chaos outside the palace deepened, the King; Alexander Alberona the third was in the throne hall, awakened in his sleep.
In front of him was a state elder that was in such a shock that he was still in his sleeping robes, and two heavenly royal guards.
“Your majesty, it was extremely regretful but the one who claimed himself as one of the three major Gods of Olympus; Hades is most likely the real one.” The state elder shook his head regretfully.
“But from the records, Hades, Loki, Seth and the other rebelling gods were sent to a prison after they were defeated in the war of Hope a long time ago. In that time, the Gods have declared their separation in this mortal realm and vowed to not participate in its problems! Then how?” The king Alexander asked disbelievingly.
“Yes, your majesty. It seems that Hades and most likely the other evil gods also managed to escape and once again make their way here in this world to cause havoc and destruction”
“What should we do? In the first place what is Lord Hades want in this tiny kingdom?”
“I fear that I also don’t know the real reason but he mentioned something confirming whether the ‘Fool’ is here or not”
“Fool? What does it mean by ‘Fool’?”
“This servant doesn’t know.”
Hearing this, the king could only slump lifelessly on his throne.
His brows furrowed and then looked at the night sky through the window.
As if something passed in his mind, the king surveyed the place with his tired eyes.
“… Once, I heard from my father that this world is a much better and beautiful place. Gods and mythical beasts from different mythologies just like what was written on the book of fate lived amongst us. Interacting and playing with us lower humans…”
As if feeling nostalgia, the king’s eyes softened.
The state elder and the two heavenly guards could only listen without interrupting. They too also have heard it, the time were everything was filled with happiness.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
“…But that didn’t last long. Evil gods from different mythologies joined one another and rebelled. They called themselves [Demon Lords].
The peace and happiness that enveloped the whole world was torn in pieces in an instant. The world became a battlefield by two different parties. When it was finished, the gods left and separated themselves from worldly matters.
There are some who concealed their identities and live somewhere in this world but they too never liked to associate their selves to us… and now that all of these things are happening again, I just hoped that they too will once again rise in the stage…”
Thinking like this, the king couldn’t help but laugh bitterly.
Yeah right… as if they will care about lowly humans like us…
The king, state elder and the two heavenly royal guards discussed their next plans of actions.
They realized that they can’t hope for someone to save them from their predicaments but to help themselves their own.
… …
– Berona palace, entrance of the palace balcony –
Leviana Vilestone, the two princesses; Aura and Mifuelle Alberona, and the rest were at a loss of what to do at the balcony area.
Because of the same black wind-like miasmas as well as monsters such as skeletal warriors and humungous insects were currently running wild outside; they couldn’t help but stay in the balcony, silently observing the situation up above.
Unable to do anything in this situation, Aura have become so frustrated to the point that her well groomed hair become disheveled.
“Just what is going on? Can’t we do something?!”
“Not clear! My husband is already out there and I don’t even have any clue as to what’s going on right now. Tell me, can we do something?”
Leviana angrily clicked her tongue.
She too, like Princess Aura was feeling very frustrated.
It was supposedly a happy occasion because of her pregnancy which she was waiting day and night but now that these things are happening…. she could only grit her teeth in anger.
If it was the usual Leviana, it was really difficult to see her produce a tone that was filled with tension and urgency. This also shows that the situation is really dire and dangerous.
“Big sister! Big sister!”
“What is it, little Hell?”
Hearing the excited voice from Hell, Leviana immediately changed her expression to a gentle one.
She after all doesn’t like to worry a little child like Hell, so all she could do was swallow her frustration deep down her throat like drinking sour vinegar.
Even if Hell was a monster, a goblin specifically, in the eyes of Leviana and her family Hell is nothing but a little girl.
“Big sister! Master said… Master said that he is coming here right now!”
“Really?!” The one who answered was none other than Princess Mifuelle who was so excited she began jumping up and down.
After all, in her little young mind, Hein was a strong Hero. She felt that with Hein on their side, nothing bad will happen to them.
As expected, as soon as Hell mentioned Hein’s name the tension slowly eased up.
It’s as if they were walking in the desert for a whole week without drinking water and then finally not so far away from them, they saw a small shadow of an oasis.
Hope beyond despair…
...Whether that shadow is real or only an illusion, no one can confirm.
—it was at this time when a change suddenly happened.
BOOOM!
Whoosh~ a gust of strong wind blew through the balcony.
The gust of wind extinguished the flames illuminating the balcony and instead it was replaced by dozens of small red lights that looked like gems in the night sky, flickering like stars.
However…
…these are not as beautiful as the stars or as peaceful as the night breeze. These dozens of small red lights were but red embers flickering inside the eye sockets of tens and dozens of skeletons holding weapons for killing.
Beside them were also not some peaceful pets but disgusting spiders crawling inside in hope for finding a few snacks in this delicate and cold night.
Seeing them, some people couldn’t help but let out a soft yet sharp screams.
There are also some who were started exclaiming as the confusion spread out like a ripple of a wave.
“Protect the mistresses!!”
“Be careful! Surround the princesses!”
“Quickly use some fire spells!”
The balcony that had lost some light and was plunged into darkness have only the moonlight helping them to see their surroundings as the people’s strange screams echoed back and forth like a horror movie with lots of ‘gyaaaa!’ sound or ‘gooo’.
Maybe on reflex, some servants began throwing chairs and furniture’s towards the incoming monsters while cursing them to die.
Leviana and the others started chanting their spells in hope to kill them all but sadly the enemies are just too numerous.
They kept coming and coming like some pests with endless numbers.
BooOOOMM!!!
A loud explosion happened not far away from them. For what the cause of that explosion no one knows but the people guessed that it’s not good… they’re most likely right~
After the loud and deafening explosion that shook the building as if a hand grenade being thrown, came a moment of silence.
Everyone looked at each other, noticing the despair, fear, anxiety and some negative emotions swelled up in each other’s eyes and then… the dozens of red-eyed monster once again began their relentless attacks.
The spiders kept jumping down from the ceiling to attack the shivering people.
“Ah!”
“Danger!”
Leviana was forced to jump towards the back.
Hell, Lina who is desperately protecting Leviana and her stomach, and the two princesses were now backing into the corner.
Since they couldn’t kill all the enemies in an instant, they could only retreat. And due to the confusion and chaos, the servants were in a state of wanting to leave but couldn’t, shrieking and forcefully pushing one another.
“Get out fast!” “Protect the princesses!” “Protect the mistress!” “Burn the monsters!” “Stop pushing!” “Don’t touch that there… ahn!” “Eh? You’re a man?” “Of course I am!”
“No! Use an area spell!” “Idiot! We can’t! Don’t use it! We’re in a confined space, we’ll also be killed!” “We’ll be cooked alive!” “Forced them back!” “Break those hard, black…” “No don’t say anything!”
Panic voices and screams filled the whole place.
